"You look so pretty." Your boyfriend Lucas gushes as he spun you around, admiring the beautiful dress you had on.
(A/N: I'll let you imagine your own dress:))
Your face flushed red at his compliment. "You don't look so bad yourself." You responded back as you trailed your hands down his broad shoulders. He leaned down and placed a small kiss on your cheek.
"Aww, look at how adorable you two are! Hurry, get close so I can take a picture of you two." My mom said as she smiled at the two of you with her phone in her hand.
You linked arms with Lucas and faced your mother who had her Polaroid camera and her phone in her hands. First she took a picture with the Polaroid and then she took one with her phone.
"My baby is growing up," Your mothers eyes began to fill with tears. "your father would be so proud of you. Wait, (Y/N) hold this," your mother put her camera and phone down and walk out the room. She came back with a military hat in her hands and just staring at it made you want to burst into tears.
That hat was the hat your father wore when he was in the military. "Mom.." you could feel a tear about to fall but Lucas wiped it away before it could. Your mother hands you the hat with shaky hands.
"I'm bet he's smiling down on you right now, and Lucas," your mother looked towards Lucas with a sad smile on her face. "I'm sure he would love you if he ever got the chance to meet you."
Your mother picked up her devices once and took pictures. "Remember; if you see your brother, tell him that I said to have fun." Your mother said before letting the two of you go. She referred to your twin brother Lee Taeyong
After she let the two of you go and have fun.
While you both hopped in Lucas's car, about to be on the way to the place where the two of you were going to eat with a group of friends, Lucas looked over to you. "Are you okay?" He picks up your hands and runs his thumb over the back of your hand.
He knew how much you loved your father and the thought of you losing him at such a young age made his heart break. You looked towards him and smiled sadly at him. "I'm okay."
"Haechan!" You squealed as you hugged your best friend, Haechan who decided to go to the dance by himself since the girl he was going to ask was already taken. You offered to let him go to the dance with you and Lucas but he refused.
"Hey (Y/N)! You look beautiful!" He complimented you on your outfit. You did a small pose and giggled as you thanked him.
"You look pretty handsome, Haechan-ah!" He adjusted his tie and smirked towards you, accepting your compliment.
Lucas went over to talk to Mark and his date, who was a foreign exchange student from America. Her name was Emilia. He's had a crush on her since the first day of high school. They both decide to move to America together after high school.
Suddenly Lucas turned around and looked at you with a smile on his face. He slowly walked over to you with his hands in his pockets. "What?" You asked him with a smile on your face as well.
"You're just so pretty I couldn't resist," He took his hands out his pockets and wrapped his arms around your waist. "I can't believe we're graduating tomorrow, when are we moving into our apartment?" He swayed back and forth without taking his eyes off you.
"Next week," you wrapped your arms around his body and smiled up at him. "I'm so excited!" He squealed causing the two of you to get some stares.
"Ah! Shhh! People are staring at us." You slapped his shoulder and he giggled softly at you.
"Sorry," he kisses you on your forehead. Suddenly the door to the restaurant opens and in comes the rest of your friend group.
The youngest began to walk into the restaurant in a group since they all decided to go to the dance together as friends. They all had one more year of high school since they were the youngest of the group.
You let go of Lucas and so does he knowing you wanted to go hug your other best friend in the world.
"Renjun!" You practically almost threw yourself on him but he caught you knowing that you would do it the moment he saw you.
"(Y/N)!" He exclaimed. "You look so pretty!"
"Thank you, Renjun you look handsome!" Renjun's cheeks turned a light shade of pink and he accepted your compliment. You led him over to Haechan and they did a little fist bump.
Soon the three of you were talking and waiting for your table to be called while the others in your friend group began to talk to each other. Lucas stood close to you and joined in on the conversation.
"Oh daddy," Johnny said as he looked you up and down. You did a little spin for him and he whistled. "Jesus Christ Lucas, can I take her?" Johnny asked Lucas while he pointed at me.
Lucas wrapped his arm around my torso and pull me in close to his chest. "Never." Lucas swayed back and forth.
"Aww! (Y/N), you look so beautiful!" You heard your brothers voice calling for you. You turned your head to see your twin brother Taeyong walking towards you with his arms opened wide.
Lucas let you go so you could go hug your brother. His date looked at you weirdly, almost like she was scanning you from head to toe.
Taeyong engulfed you in a warm hug and patted your back leaving the girl who was standing next to him confused. You both broke the hug and you smiled at his date. "Hello, I'm (Y/N). I don't believe we've met, I'm Taeyong's twin sister," her face immediately lit up and she smiled towards you.
"Oh! So you are (Y/N)? Taeyong talks about you all the time. I've always wanted to meet you. I'm Lisa, it's a pleasure to finally meet you," she bowed and gave you a small smile.
"Oh, no don't bow to me, I don't deserve it," you joked around making her giggle.
Her eyes lingered to Lucas who stood behind you. "Oh, is this your boyfriend?" she asked with a small smile on her face. You nodded and held Lucas's hand.
"We've been together for three years now," you lightly squeezed Lucas's hand.
"Aww, are you guys going to the same college?" Lisa asked.
"Yeah, were moving into a apartment together too." Lucas added as he looked at you with a smile on his face. "I don't know what I would do without her in my life."
"You two are such a cute couple, I wish you the best of luck." she smiled brightly once again.
"Thank you!"
"Here's the last song of the night, grab that special person in your life and dance!" the DJ said as he played a slow song. You looked for Lucas to see that he was sitting down at a table looking around for you. Soon he spotted you and smiled as he got up and walked over to you.
"Ah, this is so cheesy.." he groaned quietly with a smile on his face. "may I have this dance?" he extended his hand out for you to grab.
You smiled at him and placed your hand in his. He placed his hands on your waist and you placed your arms around his neck. He pulled you in closer into his chest letting you rest your head onto his chest.
"I love you," he whispered as he left a lingering kiss on your shoulder.
"I love you too, tonight has been the best night ever, I wish I could relive it over again." you whispered back to him.
"What was you favorite part?" he asked you while he rubbed your back. You scoffed playfully and looked up at him. "Of course, you." a huge smile emerged onto his lips while he stared at you.
"You're always my favorite part no matter where we are you'll always be my favorite." He said sweetly.
You both swayed instinctively to the music, enjoying the warm feeling in your bodies. Lucas placed kisses on you while the music played, you could feel yourself slowly beginning to fall asleep in his embrace but before you could the song ended and that concluded the end of the dance.
