Lapis
Peridot's face was pure red. She looked down at her red tie and desperately tried to fix it, even though it didn't need any fixing in the first place. One step at a time, I continued to walk towards her. She looked wonderful in a tuxedo. Dad let go of me and let me walk in front of her. Her face was just as red.
"L-Lapis," she whispered. "You look beautiful."
"You too," I whispered back.
Then it began. We couldn't wait. We were finally going to be together. The promise we were about to make proclaimed that this would last forever.
