Neose's P.O.V.
"You were amazing back there ! Growing plants so fast , its like I was watching mom in action !" My big brother said.
Because of the two rest days we have , I decided to use this time to visit him.
Haru-nii's been complementing and telling how awesome I did during the Sports Festival. Although , he would exaggerate at some moments.
"Its a bummer you lost against that Bakugo kid" he said. I let out a nervous chukkle as I scratched the back of my head.
"I was really rooting for you back there. I actually thought you'd win against him , seeing use you 'Satori's Beanstalk'" He said.
Hearing the name of my special move kind off makes me embarrassed. I realize now the name sounds childish.
"Oh , I didn't mean to offend !" He quickly said. "Being 3rd place is not that bad"
"Its fine Haru-nii" I reassurred him.
"Neose ... You know grandpa called me" I then looked at him , not believing on what he just said.
"Really ?"
Haru-nii nodded. "He told me how proud he was of you... And he apologizes for not telling you directly because of his job"
"Grandpa..." It warms my heart hearing what Haru-nii said.
"Anyways ... How's school lately ?" Haru-nii decided to change the topic.
"Nothing much"
"How about your lovelife ? Got a boyfriend ?" He asked plainly.
I then blushed on that questioned. "Why are you asking that !?!?" I exclaimed.
"Well , I'm curious" he said. "So come on , tell your big brother who his little siser has a crush on !!!"
"Its none of your business !!!" I spoke up , geez ... He can be sometimes embarrassing to talk to.
Haru-nii pouted. "Come on ! Tell me ... Shouldn't siblings tell their deepest darkest secrets" he said with a mischievous grin.
His last words creeped me out.
"First of all , I don't have a crush on anyone ! Second , there are limits on what siblings share to each other"
"You're sometimes a downer" He said crossing his arms and pouting. I don't know whose the older sibling here.
I then sighed. I looked at the time and it was already afternoon. "Haru-nii , I'm going now"
"Already ?! You haven't told me who you like " He exclaimed.
"I'll tell you when I already found someone I like !" I said as I walked out. "Get some rest ! I'll come back soom" I then closed the door.
I let out a heavy sigh. What was Haru-nii thinking ? Me have a crush on someone ? Where did that thought come from ?
Pfft , crushes ? Lovelife ? They aren't even my agenda... To become a hero ! That is my focus.
But ...
Around this age , girls do develope crushes on boys. And they say if you don't have a crush on someone , your abnormal or weird. Guess I'm weird then...
I wonder , if I ever had a crush on someone. Who would it be ?
Then an image of Shoto crossed my mind.
"Eh ?"
"Ehhhhhhhhhhhh ??????!?!?!?!?!"
What am I thinking !? Why am i thinking like this !? Stupid brain !!!
Shoto's my best friend , in fact . He's like a brother to me.
So erase that image from out of my mind. Forget these thoughts ! Done and done !
There , silly Haru-nii making me think about the stuff.
"Neose ?" a familiar voice said.
I looked to see who it is. "Shoto !?" I was surprised to see him here.
Wait , if Shoto is here then that means. He visited his mother ...
"I never expected you to be here" I then stopped talking. "S-sorry , it came out the wrong way"
"Don't be" He paused. "Let's take a walk"
"Sure"
We then left the hospital and went to a public park.
"I'm happy to see you are finally visiting your mother" I said to him.
"Right , it feels . Strange seeing her again" he said. "I thought she would hate me for not visiting her for so long and for what dad did to her but... She wept tears of joy seeing me again"
I looked at Shoto and his mouth formed a small smile. Its so cute.
"I'm happy to hear that" I said.
"Its because of you and Midoriya. Thanks Neose" He then looked at me with his warm eyes.
Shoto ... Its what friends do...
"Hey , mama aren't they from the sporys festival !?" A child called out.
"Yeah , hey its Todoroki and Satori !" Another by stander said.
"Are they dating ?"
"Let's ask for an autograph !!!"
"Uh , Shoto... You know I don't do well with fans surrounding me in public places" I said as I grabbed onto his arm tightly.
"Right , let me handle this and after we'll find somewhere more private" Shoto reassured me.
As we were surrounded by a crowd , I couldn't help but hide behind Shoto. I guess now I'm not hiding from them because I'm Peppy Poppoyo but because I'm Neose Satori , a hero in training.
Shoto was the one who did all the talking. Some asked for an autograph and there where others who took a picture of us.
After that , we were exhausted. We tried finding a place to hang peaceful but people kept coming to us.
"How about we go to my place and have some tea , we'd have better privacy there" I said and Shoto agreed.
We then headed to my apartment. As we entered , Shoto just sat quietly on the sofa while I prepared some tea.
"Here , green tea" I offered to him.
"Thanks" he then took a sip.
It was quiet. We had nothing to say to each other.
"I've never been to your place before" Shoto started to speak. "It must be lonely living alone"
"Its alright , when you get used to it... I've learned to live independently. And , Granny Lei , my neighbor next door would always accompany me at times" I reassured him.
"You don't have to worry" I added.
He then looks at me.
"Is something wrong ?" I asked.
"Nothing" he said. He continued looking at me. I started feeling uncomfortable.
"You look much better without your face mask and if you don't tie you hair" he said.
"Eh ?"
I don't know why but my heart suddenly beated faster upon hearing those words.
"Forget , what I said" Shoto then looked away. "Its getting late , Fuyumi might start to worry" he then stood up.
"Thanks for your hospitality" He said then prepared himself to leave.
"Shoto ..." I then stood up and opened the door for him.
"See you at school Neose" he then left.
That was strange of Shoto . He's leaving so soon ... Did something come up ? He acted weird.

Is he implying that I look much better like this. I looked at my current appearance in the mirror.
Hair flowing down and no face mask.
Only my prescripted glasses.
Thinking about it , Shoto never talks about my appearance... What's gotten into him ?
