The school bell rung, signalling that is was lunch time. You got your books and went to the cafeteria looking for your friends. Once you saw them, you smiled and walked straight to Jennie, as she was also sitting with your group of friends.
"Hey Jennie, i have something, quite unimportant to do right now, so you can eat first" You gave her a kiss on the cheek and she smiled.
"Okaay.. If it's unimportant then why do you have to do it now?" She turned her body facing you. You shrugged, hiding your nervousness for being questioned. She raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off when you showed her a big grin.
"Okay then, see you later, loser" She said.
"Why would you wanna see yourself later? That's so weird" You asked as you started to walk towards the cafeteria exit. Her laughing and shaking her head was the last thing you saw before you left the cafeteria.

Your fist hit him square in the jaw.
He stumbled back but got up quick enough before you could put another punch in. He swung his arm and aimed for your head but you ducked and punched him in the stomach. No regrets. It felt good actually.
He lunged for you but you side stepped and used your leg to kick him from behind causing him to fall face first onto the ground. This guy can clearly fight.
His friends had finally had it. They grabbed you by your arms and shoulders. You held your ground for a few minutes and used all your strength to escape their grip but they were too strong. It was a 5 against 1 match. That bastard.
Pause-
How did you get here you may ask? Well, on this fine morning, as you were walking to school peacefully, this dumbass, who shall not be named, but will be called Jennie's shitty ex, was talking shit behind her back. He was talking to his pitiful group of friends and his new girlfriend (oh God bless her) how Jennie was a coward and was not brave enough to bang him in his car when they were dating.
You, being you, walked up to him and started defending your girlfriend, because obviously, why wouldn't you? He started talking smack about beating you up but the bell rung, indicating the start of school. He told you to meet him in the parking lot during lunch time to finish your unfinished business(feels like something middle school students would do lmao no offence). You did not hesitate.
You, of course knew you were going to beat his ass if he came alone, but he didn't, and now his dwarfs were here helping him. What a man.

"This was supposed to be between us only. Are you that scared that you had to call your little minions for help?" You said as you looked at him with an unamused face. You were held back against the wall.
You saw his face burn with anger before he started punching you. "You son of a b!tch" He kept repeating as he punched you over and over again.
Just as you were about to feel dizzy and your vision started to become a field of black and white, you heard someone shout "Stop! Now!" and the punches instantly stopped coming. Your mouth started to taste almost metallic-ish and you felt blood trickle down the side of your face. Your eyes throbbed from the punches and you couldn't move your body without feeling pain everywhere. Jennie was so gonna be furious.

"Hey! Jennie!" Jennie heard Lisa shout her name as the younger girl came running to her.
"Yes Lisa? What is it this time? Did you forget anything again?" She asked uninterested as she took her books out of her locker.
"Y/N got into a fight with 'the one who must not be named' and it looks pretty bad. Also, i think i did lose my water bottle" Lisa added putting her hands on her hips, thinking.
Jennie smacked Lisa's head and shouted "Y/N DID WHAT?"

"May i use the bathroom?" You asked Ms. Lee politely. She nodded and smiled "Sure. Go ahead". Ms. Lee has always been nice to you because you always, without fail, finish her math homework and assignments. (Math is fun okay i know i'm sorry)
You were all currently waiting in the teacher's office. Your punishment will either be detention or bathroom cleaning for a week. But you would have to wait and hear from the principal to know for sure.
You took your sweet time walking from the teacher's office to the bathroom. Admiring the floor that seems especially clean today and the ceiling that seems so much brighter than all the days before this.
Your mind couldn't stop thinking about how you could've won that fight easily. But that bastard had to be a coward and call for backup. It felt so bad to lose unfairly.
You turned the corner that led to the hallway to the bathroom and jumped when you saw Jennie there, leaning on the wall, crossing her arms and giving you a death glare.
"Hi baby" You walked up to her to give her a big hug trying to hide your nervousness. You stopped yourself when she didn't open her arms to embrace you.
"Explain yourself, Y/N Y/L/N" Jennie looked up at you with a raised eyebrow.
"Look, i know it seems bad but i was doing it to defend your honour" You took a step back and lowered your head, not daring to look at her.
"I can defend my own honour Y/N"
"I know, I'm sorry.. It's just that what he said.. made me so angry"
"You should learn to control yourself, loser" She stood up straight and took a step towards you. You looked at her, pouting.
"Wow.. he really kicked your butt.. Are you okay? How could you not win? He doesn't even know how to fight" She said inspecting your face.
You explained to her how he had unfairly beaten you up and you swore there were flames burning in her eyes. Even you would be intimidated by her if you didn't know that Jennie was actually a cute, loving bean. She had a look of.. maybe.. determination? in her eyes. But you didn't know why and you didn't dare question her.
We talked for a little longer, mostly talking shit about him and his friends. She would graze the side of your face with her soft palm from time to time which only made your smile bigger.

Detention it is.
All of you were even asked to write a 500 word essay about what each of you did wrong and how you would fix the problem? Wtf?
After about half an hour in detention, the door opened and in came the bastard's poor girlfriend, looking like she just manhandled, or was manhandled by, a tiger just minutes before. She looked like a mess, per usual. You did a mental salute to whoever messed her up that badly.
But there was another person following behind her as she did not close the door after coming in.
Your heart stopped in its place the minute you saw Jennie Kim, your girlfriend, walk into the room. When she saw you, her face lit up with an adorable smile. You noticed that her hair was kinda messy, her uniform all creased and her face, other than the plaster placed across her right temple, looked like she had just received a few punches. Nonetheless, she still looked hot as ever.
You were confused but sat up straight when it hit you. Jennie was the one who kicked her ass! You couldn't help but dramatically stand up and applaud her. Jennie's ex was shooting you daggers from across the room but you didn't care. All you could focus on was her adorable expression after your silly gesture.
Jennie went to sit behind you so you held up your hand at your side and both of you did a victory high five as she passed you. You winked at her and she blew you a kiss.

You waited outside for Jennie to finish her time in detention. The moment she stepped out of the room, you ran up to her and gave her a big hug.
"Wow i did not expect such reaction from you" She laughed.
"I have such a badass girlfriend" You kissed her, put your arm around her shoulder and headed for the exit together.
"Well i didn't think it was fair for him to do that, so i got revenge for you" She said smiling.
"Thanks babe" You replied giving her another kiss.
