"Alright class, today we have a new student coming in." He said as he signaled someone to come in. The student was a girl.
She caught your eyes; she was very cute.
"Class, this is Mina Myoui, your new classmate.
"Nice to meet you all." She said.
"Now Mina, there's a seat behind (YN) over there." You raised your hand and she went towards you.
"Now today class, we'-
*DING* Sorry Mr. Rein, but would you come to Mr. Monte's office. He needs your assistance."
"Sure Ann, I'll be there. Sorry class, I'll be right back." And the teacher left, leaving everyone to talk or be on their phones.
You turned around and saw Mina just sitting there.
"Hey, I'm (YN)."
"Mina." She answered back.
"You're not from the states are you...sorry, you don't have to answer?" You thought it might be inappropriate since you just met her.
"Not it's fine, I'm from Japan, but I was born here. I came back after my parents wanted to come back."
"Oh...Anata o tasukeru hito ga hitsuyōa baai wa, shinpaishinaide kudasai. Watashi wa koko ni imasu. (Well don't worry, if you need someone to help you out. I'm here.)" You said in Japanese. (I think it's how you write it)
She widened her eyes mid way of your sentence.
"Yeah, I don't look like it, but I know Japanese and Korean as well. My mom's side." You said.
"Oh...well thanks."
"No problem." Both then didn't say a word for a moment, but just stare in each others eyes. Then you looked away and waved someone down. Mina looked over and saw a girl coming over.
"Hey Momo, this is Mina." You said.
"Hey, I'm Momo." She waved and Mina waved back.
"Momo can you have her at our table for lunch." Momo smiled.
"Do you want to sit with us for lunch?" Momo asked and Mina nodded.
"Great see there." And Momo left.
"Sorry about that and don't worry, she's a great friend. I'm going to be a bit late so she'll take you. I'll be sitting there as well." She nodded.
"Oh and I guess you need someone to show you around?"
"Do you mind?" She asked.
"Not at all." You said.
"Thanks."
"No problem." You said and the teacher came back as soon as you finished and class resumed.

Mina found her new friend's table since Momo was waving at her to come over. There she was introduced to 7 others.
"Mina, this is Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Jihyo and Sana." Momo pointed at each one and each one either waved or bowed slightly.
"Girls this is Mina, the new transfer student."
"Ooo, so you're the new student?" Mina nodded.
"Well, welcome Mina, come sit." Chaeyoung said as she patted the seat next to her. Mina was a bit timid and just sat there being slightly uncomfortable.
"So tell us about yourself Mina." Dahyun said, eager to learn about Mina. Some looked at her as well.
"I...uhh..." She didn't know what to say.
"Now Dahyun, calm down. It her first day here, she's probably nervous." Jihyo said as Dahyun rolled her eyes.
"No, no it's fine...I'm actually from-"
"Wait, I'll be right back." Sana said as she walked towards (YN).
Mina saw Sana go towards (YN), who just came into the lunchroom.
"Where's she going?"
"Oh, Sana and (YN) are friends. Well we all are, but he and Sana are close." Momo answered.
"Close?"
"They've been friends the longest out of us."
Mina then looked over at Sana playfully shoving (YN). For some reason, she wasn't to thrilled by this.

Over the next couple of months, Mina has been getting conformable in school, in fact, it was like she was friends with the group for a long time.
But there was one person she was with the most, (YN).
Mina may have a slight crush on (YN)...okay maybe not slight.
She liked you, a lot actually.
It was the simple things about you, like your looks, your smile, your personality.
It was everything Mina like and more.
Then you would be always around Mina either helping her or even just wanting to talk to her. School, memories, movies; it didn't matter.
Then there was one thing about you that Mina really liked. A conversation came up about games and it seemed that you were into that subject.
That was a big plus about you.
Being the gamer that she is, it brought her to a smile when she learned that about you.
So she tried dropping hints, she was playful with you, slapping his arm at your jokes, being near you during lunch, heck she even fed you one time, much to her embarrassment.
There was one teeny-tiny problem.
A certain snake named Minatozaki Sana.
She has been a bit too close to you for the past month and Mina wasn't excited by this, half the time she was mad that Sana was that close to you and the other half sad that it wasn't her that was that close to you.
They weren't dating, but it sure seemed like it.
That's when she knew she had feelings for you.
It was making her feel like she hadn't had before.
One day she had some courage in her.
Today, she was going to invite you over to her house to play a new game that came out yesterday. It was a Friday so they didn't have school tomorrow and she was a bit worried, but she wanted to be with you more outside of school.
They had all gone out before, but this time she wanted you and her alone.
So she was now in her seat, waiting for you. You came in the classroom alone, which was very good. You saw her and went towards her.
"Sup Minari." That was your nickname for her.
"Hey..." Your smile disappeared from your face.
"Hey, you ok? Is something wrong?" She was happy that you cared for her.
"Nothing's wrong...actually I want to ask you something?"
"Ok." You said. She internally took a deep breath and looked at you.
"Would you like to come to my home today? I have (Game Name)." You opened your eyes slightly.
"Wait you have it? I couldn't get it." You said and she nodded.
"Yeah, I'd be happy to come." She smiled.
"Really." You nodded.
"Great, so around 5 is ok with you." You nodded and she texted you her address.
You were surprised by how close you both were, only a 10 minute walk from each others houses.
Both then you both talked about the game until the teacher came and class started.

The rest of the day went as normal and when school was dismissed, Mina went straight home, said hello to her parents and left to her room to clean up and fix herself up a bit.
An hour and a half later, she heard the doorbell. She smiled and went out her room and down the stairs.
"I'll get it!" Mina said running down the stairs.
"Who is it?" Her mom asked.
"A friend." Her mom nodded, Mina then went to the door and opened it to reveal you in some casual clothing of a white V-neck shirt with some black shorts and a pair of black vans.
"Hey."
"Hey (YN). Glad you could come."
"Like I'd say no to you." Mina looked away a bit before looking back.
"Yeah, should we go?"
"Lead the way." Mina then allowed you inside and pointed towards the stairs, but before stepping on the stairs, Mina's mom came out of the kitchen.
"Mina before you g...Mina aren't you going to introduce your 'friend' to us." Mina rolled her eyes at her mom's emphasize of friend.
"Mom, this is (YN), he's a friend at school."
"Pleasure to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Myoui." You said as you bowed slighly.
"Oh honey, we're not royalty, just a handshake is fine. My name is Sachiko" Mina's mom said as you shaked her hand and then her dad.
"Mine's Akira, you could just call us by our first names."
"Ok. Pleasure to meet you two...again. Then Mina held your hand.
"Great you all know each other. Can we go now?"
"Of course honey. Have fun." Her mom said and Mina pulled you up the stairs towards her room.
Once they were out of sight, Mina's mom looked at her husband and smiled.
"Well, he's quite nice."
"Not bad on the looks either." Her husband said and she just looked at you.
"What?"
"Honey...that sounds wrong coming from you." and she went towards the kitchen.
"What I can't compliment a guy?"
"When that guy is a teen, no."
"Whatever...but Mina bringing a guy over is something I've never thought I would see. Should we keep an eye on them." Her dad suggested.
"No. Let them have their fun. She hardly brings anyone over at our old home. Now she seems to have gain some new friends. And a cute one at that." She said as she left back to the kitchen.
"Wait so you can say that, but I can't."
"Nope."

You and Mina were now in her room. It wasn't as girly as you thought. A white painted room with purple carpet, along with a queen size bed and some white furniture around along with a bookcase. On the wall was a TV, an assortment of pictures hanging around and a vanity that had an organized set of makeup and brushes.
"Sorry about my parents." She said as she went set up the console.
"It's fine, they seem nice."
"Yeah, they are."
Both then just played the game, split screening and playing the game for about an hour and a half. Both were having major fun and Mina was enjoying the, being alone with (YN).
Mina then decided to take a break and look at her phone. You kept going, but you died.
"Dang it. I just died...what you looking at?"
"Oh nothing, just looking at photos at some idols and what they posted." You just looked at her phone and saw images of ladies posing. She kept scrolling up to see more photos.
"Whoa."
"What?" She said looking at you.
"Wait go back some photos." She arched her eyebrow and went back a couple of photos.
"That one."
"Who, this person?" At this point Mina was feeling a bit jealous. She though that you might like this girl.
"I love her hairstyle." You said. Mina then looked at you.
"Her...hairstyle?" You nodded.
"What, that turns you on?" She said jokingly.
"Tsk, no, don't be silly. It just looks very attractive." (AN- The one the Mina has on the cover picture)
"Really?" Mina said.
"Yeah, I mean don't get me wrong, I don't care about what hairstyles people have, but that one looks really good."
"Oh I'm alive." You said as you looked at the TV and started playing your game. Mina then saved the pic.
'If he likes it so much, then he'll be in for a surprise on Monday.' She thought as she smiled at her idea. She dropped the phone and she grabbed the controller to play with (YN).

So over the weekend, Mina tried over the weekend to do her hairstyle like the photo. Only she kept failing at it. It seemed so easy, but she couldn't do the way the person did it.
So Monday morning came and Mina woke up earlier than usual, she knew her mom would be up at this time, so she went to her room, who was currently in her vanity applying some make up.
"Hey mom." Her mom looked at the door and was confused.
"Mina? You're up early."
"Can you, um, do my hair?"
"Really? You never do your hair besides special occasions."
"Well when I woke up, I just thought about changing something up and I saw my hair and I figured, why not?" Mina said, but her mom knew it was something else, but she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Okay, honey, sit here and tell me what you want." Mina then sat where here mom was and brought out her phone of the saved image of the ponytail and the two side bangs.
"Hmm..."
"Can you do it?" Mina asked looking at the mirror at her mom.
"Maybe, I'm no expert, but I'll see what I can do."
So her mom went to work, she kept looking at the photo and back and tried to do some pins and hairpins and even had to look up a video. With just a ponytail and two side bangs, she thought it might be easy, but to no avail. Mina was getting anxious at her mom not doing it.
15 minutes passed and her mom tried to do it. When Mina was watching, she could see how it wasn't going as it should be.
"Mom, I thought you said you could do it?" Mina said.
"I said maybe. Just give me some more min-" Mina then sat up from the chair frustrated and started walking towards the door.
"You know what forget it."
"Mina, stop!" Her mom said sternly. Mina stopped in her steps and turned around to see her mom looking mad.
"Now I'm trying my best here, it's not like I do hairstyles for a living. Besides you don't even care for your hair, you just let it down naturally. It looks wonderful the way it is." Mina just looks down.
"Come here." Her mom said patting the bed to sit next to her. Mina just walked towards her and sat.
"Now Mina, you're never angry, in fact I don't think you've ever raised your voice before. Now tell me what's wrong."
"There's nothing wrong mom, I just wanted to do this hairstyle."
"...Are you trying to impress someone." Mina looked at her mom.
"No, mom like I sa-"
"Honey, moms have a sixth sense about these kinds of things."
"..."
"It's (YN) isn't it." Mina's eyes widened and looked away and nodded.
Her mom kind of knew that Mina liked (YN).
"Have you tried to tell him that you like him?"
"...I've been trying to give him hints like playing around with him and joking and stuff but..."
"Well if he's not picking up your hints then maybe he isn't the one fo-"
"No!" Mina yelled and turned towards her mom and her mom was taken aback. Mina saw the look on her face and hunched herself in embarrassment.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to shout." She said with her cheeks getting red.
"You really like (YN) don't you." Mina nodded.
"A lot actually."
Her mom smiled at Mina, finally she found something she likes other than her games. Mina has friends, but she hardly goes out with them because of her shy personality, but she wanted Mina to go out and have fun to break that wall. And (YN) looks like the answer to that.
Plus she already knew (YN), she only met you that one time and very briefly, but he didn't seem to be rude or anything. In fact, it was the opposite, you were respectable when they first met and you were very cute looking.
And if this is what Mina's trying to do for you, you must be worth it in Mina's mind.
"I know how you feel Mina. I was feeling the same way towards your father back in my day." Mina didn't move and her mom looked at Mina who was hunched with her face in her arms.
"It's so embarrassing."
"No it's not Mina, love makes a person do weird things. You're just changing your hairstyle. Now come. Let's fix this up." So then Mina and her mom spend about another 15 minutes getting there. When her mom finally achieved it. Mina eyes were light up by the sight. Her mom felt proud that she was able to do this.
"Wow. Mom it looks amazing."
"It does. You're pulling it off really well." Her mom's phone rang and she went to pick it up.
"Shoot. Mina, it's from work. An emergency happened. I have to go now. Oh does (YN) live near by."
"Yeah."
"Can you tell him to take you?"
"Sure." She said a bit nervous.
"Honey it's going to be okay. I'm sure he'll love it."
So Mina called you and you told her that you were on the way. About 10 minutes later, she heard the doorbell. She was waiting in the living room after her mom left. She got up and opened the door.
"Hey M-" You were cut off by her. Sure she was an attractive girl, but today her hairstyle was looking...pretty good and she was pulling it off really well.
"Mina, you look very...wow." You were having trouble saying words.
"Thanks," She said putting some hair behind her ear, "shall we." You nodded and both walked together towards the school.

Along the walk, you couldn't help, but give side glances at Mina who was walking with a smile. She looked so damn good. But you wondered since that was the same hairstyle you liked back when Mina was scrolling through photos.
'Did she...did she that because she liked it...or because of...no don't be stupid (YN). Like she'll do something like that for you.'
"I'm guessing you like it." She said out of nowhere, cutting your thoughts.
"Sorry." You said.
"Don't be. So do you really like it?" She asked as she stopped to ask you.
"Like it, I think I love it." You said looking at her as you stopped as well. Mina heard love and she was stunned.
"T-thanks, I did for you." She said still phased by your 'love'. Then she realized what she said and widened her eyes.
"For me?" You said a bit stunned.
'Oh god, why did I say that, what do I say...' Mina tried to think of something, but couldn't. She then just went with it.
"I...yeah..." She said as looked at the ground. You blinked your eyes for a bit.
"W-why?"
"Pabo...I like you ok. And more than a friend kind of way." She said.
"I tried giving you hints the past month, but nothing was working. So when you said you found this hairstyle attractive, I thought maybe this would be the best way."
"Mina, you didn't have to do that."
"Well apparently I did since all my other hints weren't getting to you." She said as she crossed her arms.
"I just thought you were really friendly like the other girls."
"Well I wasn't." As she looked away.
"I'm sorry Mina...I didn't actually think you'll like me back." She looked back at you.
"Back...wait you like me too." She said.
"Yeah I like you too. But Mina, you are this gorgeous and cute girl, whose smart, very fun to hang out and a kind and friendly personality. Why go for me? I'm just ehh." She was starting to blush at your words for her.
'(YN), do you really think all that of me...' she thought then she realized you though to little of yourself.
"Because you're also the things you said about me, and you're always there for me and you just a sweet guy all around. Plus we get along really well and not to mention how much we both love our games." She said.
"But I keep doubting myself since I think you and Sana were something."
"Sana?" She nodded.
"Yeah, the way you two are...it just makes me feel mad and sad." She didn't answer, but you went up to her and hug her and stroked her ponytail. She was surprised, but pushed herself closer to you to feel your warmth and closeness.
"Mina, I'm so sorry. But I can assure you that Sana and I aren't a couple or anything." You said.
"Then why is she always hanging out with you?"
"Well, she is my closest friend, but the reason she's been around me a lot more is because, she's been asking me about how to ask someone out." You leaned back, still in your arms, and she looked at you confused.
"Who?"
"You know Tzuyu." She nodded.
"Apparently she's into her, so she's trying to get her to notice her. Nothing working though. You know how Tzuyu is."
"Sana had this feeling she couldn't describe and she went to me to talk about it. When I told her she liked her...that way, I've been trying to help her in her confidence to ask her out and how to get Tzuyu's attention. Sana is not an expert when it comes to relationships."
"Wait...Sana's a-" You nodded your head.
"Yup. And being her closest friend, she came to talk to me. She didn't want any of you other eight to know or else they might ruin the secret until she was ready. Just don't tell her that I told you. She wants to keep it a secret, but with luck I think she's going to ask her this week."
"But still. I'm very sorry Mina, for hurting you." You said as you look at her.
"Don't be...it was just a misunderstanding."
"I still hurt you though."
"Well...if you want to make it up to me...you can take me on a date today." She said, she wasn't this forward with anything, but you just told you that you liked you as well so she just went for it.
"Gladly." You responded and Mina body urged with happiness...then she bit her lip as she looked down and with red gracing her cheeks.
"...and could we, umm..." You got the message and grabbed her chin as you leaned forward, closing the gap and interlocking lips.
Both had their eyes shut and enjoyed the moment both were having.
The feeling was something else and both wanted to have this feeling a bit longer, but you know...oxygen.
You both pulled away and looked at each other smiling.
"Wow." You mumbled.
"Yeah." She mumbled back.
"Before we go, I know we haven't had our date yet...but would you like to be my girlfriend."
"So forward (YN), but I would love too."
"Well then...shall we." You said holding out your hand and she accepted it.
"We shall."
And then both just held hands with each other as they walked towards the school. Each very excited about their date and very happy about their new relationship.
