The Traumatic Tragedy

A lot of people constantly wonder how a girl like her can be so lonely and sad, and some do not care.
Here is the life behind that girl with the big smile and brown hair.
As a baby to a child, she was perfectly okay.
It was when she was a teenager that her happiness was taken away.
At age twelve, she would visit her aunt on the weekend.
There her cousin sat beside her on the couch; he was like a friend.
Until he snuck in the guest room where she slept at night,
Because he knew she would be too scared to put up a fight.
Under the covers and up her thigh,
He called it the nervous game, he let his hands rub high.
At age fourteen she went on a date,
But the eighteen year old guy would not let her wait.
Off to the bowling alley she thought they went,
But a day in his bedroom is how the date was spent.
She said no, no, no, and no,
So you know how the rest of this story will go.
At age fifteen this thing happened again,
But would you believe it if she said the amount of times was well over ten?
It is all her fault she lets it be done,
But she will not tell anyone, they are someone's son.
She did not want to ruin anyone's life,
But one day they would probably have a wife.
She hoped they would never hurt anyone again.
They are living their life in tremendous sin.
At age seventeen, her great grandmother died.
The doctors said she had weeks to live—they lied.
Now she would much rather be dead.
"Nothing ever goes right for me," she said.
She did not make it to the hospital in time,
And to her this felt like some sort of crime.
Her 4.3 GPA faded away,
And she would wake up for school and think, "Nope, not today."
Five minutes on the bus, and she was the laughing stock.
"Have you seen this girls nose? It is the size of my cock."
She skipped and skipped until a meeting was made,
To determine if she would have to repeat a grade.
Then, her principal gave her the wrong graduation date,
Because he told her by then it would be too late.
She would have killed herself by then,
Seriously, Delynn?
Now she is stuck remembering the tragedies of her traumatic life,
While she refrains from using a kitchen knife.
