The next day.
I woke up and Alec wasn't there. I looked over at the clock and stretched. It was 7:30. I got up and I walked in to the bathroom and quickly showered, I brushed my teeth and then I walked back in to the bedroom and I quickly put on a pair of jeans and a top. I grabbed my phone and I walked out in to the hallway, I went in to Eli's room first. He had just woken up, I could tell from his obvious bed hair, he rubbed his eyes and yawned. "Morning baby boy." I say smiling as I walk over to him. "Morning mommy." He says. I lift him up and I carry him to the bathroom, he uses the toilet while I get his clothes ready. I walk back in to the bathroom and I quickly shower him. I wash his hair, face and body then I rinse him. I switch the shower off and then I wrap him in a towel. We walk back in to his room. I dry him and then I get him dressed. I brush his hair and then I put his socks on him. I put him on the ground and I put out his toy box. "I'm gonna come back and get you after I get the twins dressed okay baby." I say. "Okay mommy." He says getting some toys out. I walk in to the twins room. "Momma!" Colton says happily. "Morning bubba." I say walking over to him. Chloe was still half asleep so I decided to get him ready first. I lift Colton out of his crib and I carry him over to his changing mat. I quickly undress him and I wipe him with a wet wipe, I grab his flannel which was warm and I wipe his face and body. I put a nappy on him and I get him dressed. I put a pair of shorts and a t-shirt on him and then I place him back in his cot. I then walk over to Chloe. "Mommy." She says tiredly. "Morning princess." I say lifting her up. I kiss her cheek while she rests her head on my shoulder. I walk over to her changing mat and I repeat the same process with Chloe. I put a dress and a pair of tights on her. I walk over to Colton and I lift him out. I carry them in to the hall way. "Eli!" I call. "Coming momma!" He calls back as he runs out the room. "I hope your toys are not all over the floor." I say as we go downstairs. He giggles and by his cheeky grin I knew that they wasn't.
We walk in to the kitchen and I put the twins in their high chairs, I then lift Eli up and then and I put him on the chair. "Weetabix?" I ask him. "Yeah." Eli says. I make them all weetabix and I place it in front of them all. I sit down on the stool watching them all eat quietly. They were definitely still tired. The ringing of my phone distracted me. It was Alec. "Good morning baby." He says as I put the phone to my ear. "Good morning babe, are you okay?" I ask him. "I'm fine honey, I was just calling to say there's a slight change of plan. I've got my grandparents and they want to meet the rest of the kids, are they awake?" He asks. "Yeah, they're just having their breakfast." I say. "You hungry? I bought some food, I know you haven't had a chance to have breakfast yet." Alec says. "Food sounds great." I say licking my lips. "See you in ten." Alec says. "Bye mom!" Jett shouts in the background. "Seeya soon. Bye Jett." I say. I hang up. I dial my moms number. "Hello darling." She says in a cheery tone. "Hello mom." I say. "How are you?" She asks me. "I'm good thank you mom, how's everyone?" I ask. "Everyone's fine thank you sweetie." She says. "Where's dad?" I ask. "Your father has gone out with the boys." My mom says. "He loves it." I chuckle. "I know. How are Alec and the kids?" She asks. "Everyone is doing good mom, Alec, Jett, Jayson and Lynx have gone to pick up Alec's grandparents." I say. "Grandparents?" She asks. Everyone says that. I chuckle. "I know, it must be serious right?" I ask. "Olivia stop overthinking." My mom says. I sigh. "Alright mom, I'll let you get back to your crossword." I say chuckle. "Thank you honey, could you pop round later?" She asks. "Sure mom." I say as I hang up. I call Taja. "Hey Taj, I'm just checking in. How's everything?" I ask. "Hey Olivia! Thank you so much, we're doing fine. Mason is just eating his breakfast." She says. "Hi Liv!" A voice shouts in the background. It was Ty. "Ty's been helping me with sorting the house out." She says quickly. "No need to explain yourself Taja, it's your home." I chuckle. She giggles. "Feel free to come over and see us anytime, I'm sure Mason would love it." She says. "I will Taja. I gotta go now, we'll arrange something soon. Bye guys!" I say. "Bye!" They both say. I hang up. I place my phone on the counter and I walk over to the twins, I take their empty bowls and I wipe their hands and faces with the wet wipes. I take their bibs off and I place them in the wash. Eli jumps off the chair and takes his bowl over to the sink, he drops it in. I quickly wash them all and then I walk over to the twins. I take them out of their seats and we all walk in to the living room, I close the baby gate with my foot and I place them on the ground. They both take off and run to their toy boxes. "Where's dad?" Eli asks as I sit on the sofa. He stands in front of me, his blue eyes sparkled. "Daddy's gone to pick up his Grandma and Grandpa, he'll be back soon." I say and if on cue the front door opened. Jett and Jayson were the first to run in. "Babe, we're home." Alec says as he opens the baby gate. Alec's grandma came in first, she waddled in slowly. Alec's grandma was an olive skinned woman with grey/silver short hair, she was a plump lady and had bright hazel eyes. Alec carried their bags and left them by the door. "Daddy!" Eli calls. "Hey bud." Alec smiles. Alec's Grandpa walked in after Lynx. He was a grey haired man with a grey beard, he had a dark tan and bright blue eyes. He had visible wrinkles by his eyes and walked with a walking stick. I stood up and walked in to the kitchen while Lynx led them both to the sofa where they sat down. Alec came in and handed me a sandwich. "It's a bacon sandwich." He says as he sits on the counter. "Yum." I say opening the packet. "I ate half." Alec admits. I pull out the other half of the sandwich. I look at him disappointingly. He smiles a boyish grin. "Sorry." He says as he jumps off and heads over to the kettle. "I'll make them tea." He says getting cups down. I eat the rest of the sandwich. "When you said breakfast. I thought there would of been much more." I say, still disappointed. Alec chuckles. "I'm sorry babe. I'll make it up to you." He says with a wink. I smile and roll my eyes. "Whatever Alec." I say. He finishes making the tea and we walk in to the living room.
"Abuela, Abuelo. This is mi bella esposa Olivia." Alec says with a smile. I look over them with a weary smile. They were both beaming as they analysed me, soon they both smiled. "You're right, she is beautiful. Pleasure to meet you finally Olivia. I'm Walter and this is my wife Alma." He says introducing them both, he had a slight spanish accent when he spoke but it didn't make any difference to his english, I could still understand him. "Nice to meet you both." I say smiling. "I'm glad we finally get to meet you." Alma says. "It's a shame we had to travel all this way to get a visit though." Walter says glaring at Alec. Alec winces. "I've been real busy." Alec says taking Eli over to them. "We can see, what are their names?" Alma says. "This is Eli, that's Colton and that's Chloe." Alec says sitting beside me. Colton walks over to me and I lift him on to my lap. "Mom, can we go in the game room?" Jett asks coming over. "Sure honey." I say smiling. They run out the living room. Lucky. I felt so awkward. This was my first time meeting them and on top of that It's been over ten years since they have seen Alec. "Eli, this is my Abuela and Abuelo." Alec says to Eli, he looks over at them and smiles. "Hi." Eli says in a cheery tone, they both beam. Alma takes Eli from Alec and sits him on her lap. "You are beautiful." She coos. Eli smiles. "I've left the door on the latch, Spence is on his way." Lynx says as he appears out of no where. "Ah Spencer. You were both little when we last saw you." Walter says. Chloe comes over next. She stares at Walter, he smiles at her. "They are cute." He says lifting her up. "So Olivia, how do you find being a Luna? I hope it isn't too much for you." Alma says with a smile. I shake my head. "In all honesty. Alec does most of it, I'm a mother first, the kids are all still young so they still need me around." I say smiling at Alec. Alma smiles. "He gets his charming side from my Walter." She swoons. I smile. I loved seeing how in love they still were. "Your father has been giving us regular updates on you all, which is why we are here actually." Walter says. Alec sighs. "So you heard?" He asks. They nod. "We came to see for ourselves how you are doing." Alma says with a warm smile. "I'm fine Abuela." Alec nods. "Your body is still in shock son." Walter says. I look over at Alec. He hasn't had time to process it all. "Come on kids, let's go play in the garden." Lynx says taking Colton and Chloe. Eli jumps off Alma's lap and he follows Lynx out in to the garden. "Alec." Alma says. "Really, I'm fine. I have Olivia and I have all my children." Alec says with a smile, he takes my hand. Walter smiles sympathetically. "Before you start. I want you to know I've thought it through, the plan for the pack still stands. My son Jett will become the next alpha." Alec says. "I understand." Alma says. Walter stays silent. "Regardless of what you all say, I am not taking the children away from her." Alec says. "Okay Alec." Walter finally says. "I've raised Jett for practically all of his life, he knows more about the pack, he sees me as his dad and I see him as my son, which is why he has my last name. We are bonded by blood. His own father gave up his parental rights and has his own son which will become Alpha of his pack." Alec says. "Your father never told us all this." Walter says. "My dad trusts me so he doesn't need to know everything." Alec snaps. I stay silent. Was that the reason they're here? Is the problem because of Alec's decision? I didn't ask Alec to make Jett the alpha. Oh god. I hope they don't think that. "Okay Alec, I understand your choice and I won't question you again, you're the Alpha and you should be entitled to make your own choices which you think are right for the pack." Walter says. Alec smiles. "Now Olivia, how do you feel about this all?" Alma asks me. I smile. "I'm happy for Alec, he has always had a dark cloud over him and even though I've been with him all these years and we've had more children I know he always thought about Jayson and Summer. I'm happy he's got everything he wants and more." I smile. Alma beams. "My main focus is the children, all of them. They are all related, bonded by blood whether it's mine or Alec's we are all a family." I say. Alec squeezes my hand and I smile. Walter smiles. "Family is everything. You're an amazing woman Olivia." Alma says. "A great woman, I'm glad Alec found you." Walter says. I smile. "I'm just upset we didn't meet you sooner." Walter says. "How many times do I have to apologise?" Alec frowns. "Until you actually mean it." Walter snaps, he glares at Alec. I noticed Alec and Walter have a strange relationship, I wondered why? The front door opened and two sets of footsteps came in, one of them were heels. Spencer walked in with Sienna clinging to his arm. We all look over at him. "Spencer Royal, my my my, you have grown in to a fine young man." Walter says standing up with a smile. Spencer smiles and then looks over at Alec. "Hello everyone." He says. "Hi." Sienna says quietly. "Spence." Alec nods with a smile. They walk in further, he lets Sienna go and then he shakes Walter's hand. Alma had put Chloe beside her and she stands up, Spencer hugs her. "How are you?" I ask Sienna, she smiles. "I'm fine thank you Olivia. It's nice to see you again." She says. "Nice to see you as well." I say. "Where are the kids?" Spencer asks. "Jayson and Jett are in the game room and Lynx has taken the little ones in the garden." I say with a smile. They sit down and they begin talking. I decide to go in to the garden, they needed to catch up obviously and I. Well I needed to get out of there.
I walked out the back door and in to the garden, the sun beamed down on the grass. Lynx ran around with Colton and Eli while Chloe played on her rocking horse. "Hiya Liv." Lynx says running towards me. "You having fun?" I ask. He chuckles and nods. "I can't wait to have my own." He shrugs. "Take all mine for the night and the following day, I guarantee you'll rethink that." I chuckle. He laughs and then shakes his head. "I'm serious. Once me and Isabellá figure out where we are gonna settle then I'm sure kids will be on the agenda." He smiles. I smile back at him. "Aww, you're growing up Lynx." I say pinching his cheeks. "Stop doing that." He smiles. "I can't help it." I smile. "Is Spence here yet?" He asks. "Yeah, Sienna is with him, they're speaking to your grandparents." I say. "Grandparents." He chuckles. "I didn't even know." I say. "I forgot about them." He whispers. I slap his chest playfully. "That's real bad, you should go in with them, Alec's gonna be dropping them to your parent's house soon." I say. "In my defence, I know Grandpa Maddox, my mom's dad." He shrugs. "Lynx. Go." I say. He huffs and slowly begins walking in.
I walk on to the grass and I sit down. A wave of cool air came over me. Chloe ran over and sat on my lap, I watched as Eli and Colton played together, they both ran around the garden chasing each other. "Liv." Alec says. I turn my head just as he sat down beside me. "Are you okay?" He asks me. "I'm fine." I say laying my head on his shoulder. Chloe moved so she was in between us both. "Lynx is gonna take them to my dads." Alec says. "What happened between you and Walter?" I ask him. He shrugs. "We've always clashed." Alec chuckles. "He seems like a good guy." I say. "I guess." He shrugs. It goes silent between us for a moment. "I don't want you to feel like you have to make Jett alpha as a gesture to us as a couple." I say honestly. "I knew he would get in to your head Liv. It's what he has done and always does." Alec growls. "I'm being serious Alec. Jayson is your rightful heir." I say. Alec sighs and shakes his head. "You're right Liv. He is. However my decision to make Jett alpha is not based on us as a couple, it's based on everything on a whole. I've raised Jett as my son from the age of two, I've taught him everything he knows, everything about the pack, being a alpha and he understands it all, course there is more to being an alpha. But I have no doubt that Jett has what it takes. Jett is my son, this isn't a gesture to you or us infact. After I thought I lost them. I vowed that I would never love anyone again let alone have any more kids. And then you and Jett came in to my life. And you both healed me. You both taught me how to love again in different ways. Jett taught me how to be a dad. Something I didn't think I ever wanted again. On my darkest days when I didn't feel like I was doing any right. He made me feel like I was doing everything right. I remember the first time he called me dad, it slipped out and he was so little I couldn't tell him any different. I remember that day as if it was yesterday. I felt so happy. My plan before Jayson and Summer came back was for Jett to become alpha and we are sticking to it." Alec says. I look up at him, he was adamant. "That is really sweet Alec, I'm glad Jett helped you." I smile at him. He smiles back. "Also. I've missed so much of Jayson and Summer's life that me making Jayson become Alpha now and trying to teach him everything won't leave enough time for us to bond, eventually he'll resent the long lessons he would have to endure and I don't want to ruin our relationship, what if, god forbid, something happened to me and they gave it to Jayson? Can you imagine the stress he will endure." He says. "Okay Alec, I understand you. Nothings going to happen to you. I just don't want it to be an issue between your family." I say. "If you're referring to Walter, don't worry about him. I don't really care about his input. He isn't the alpha. I am." Alec says. "You sounded like a big kid just then." I giggle. He smiles. "I have my moments." He says kissing my head. Chloe points to her forehead. Alec leans down and kisses her head. She smiles. "Such a daddies girl." I coo. Alec smiles proudly. "Because she is daddies baby girl." Alec says kissing her head again. "You've got daddy around that little finger of yours." I giggle. Chloe giggles and shows Alec her finger. Alec kisses it. "You do princess." He says. She beams her pearly white teeth at him, she then stands up and runs off to play with her brothers. "He just gets under my skin." Alec admits. "If he was never around why?" I ask. Alec stays silent. "Are you holding a grudge?" I ask him. He quickly shakes his head. "It's complicated Liv. I hated going to visit them. They knew it. We both had different approaches. He was serious. I was a typical kid so we never saw eye to eye." He says. "You're an adult now Alec, with kids of your own." I say. He smiles and pulls me in to a hug. "I know babe." He says kissing my forehead before he stands up. He walks over to the garden shed and gets some more toys out for the kids. "Dad!" Jett calls running outside followed by Jayson. Alec turns around. "Do you wanna play soccer with us?" Jett asks. "Sure." Alec says grabbing a ball. He throws it to Jayson and smiles. "We'll just kick it to each other." Alec smiles. I watch as the boys kick the ball around the garden. I get up off the grass and I walk over to a lawn chair, I sit down keeping my eyes on them all. They were all happy and laughing. It made me smile. "He looks like he's great with them." Walter says appearing out of no where. He sits down beside me on another lawn chair. "He is. He has grown up a lot." I say. "I am pretty hard on him I know that, compared to the rest of them anyway. Because he reminded me so much of myself when I was younger and his dad idolises him that at the time he was the future alpha so I had to straighten him out, the lessons were tough on him. So I know why Alec resents me." Walter admits. "I think you and Alec need to talk it out, he's older now. And so are you. I think he'll understand. He's been through a lot." I say smiling. "I want to apologise to you as well." He says. "Me? Why?" I ask. "I know you understood what I was intending to say earlier, that was before we found out everything. I understand Alec's choice. I shouldn't of brung it up in that way." He says. "Thank you, I want you to know that I didn't ask Alec to make that choice." I say. "I know dear. I saw your face and clearly you was uncomfortable. So I do want to apologise before we leave. I don't want to leave on bad terms." He says. I smile. "Apology accepted." I nod. I look over at Alec who was stood frozen watching us, he frowned before walking over. Just as he was about to talk I interrupted him. "I think you and Walter should go in to your office and speak." I say. Alec closes his mouth and simply nods. Walter stands up, he and Alec then walk in to the house. Lynx, Spencer, Alma and Sienna all walk outside. "Are they finally going to talk?" Lynx asks as he stands beside me. "Yep." I nod. Alma sits down beside me, Sienna sits on the other side of me. "Guess we'll fill in for Alec." Lynx says nudging Spencer. Spencer nods and they run on to the grass. "It's good Walter and Alecay are finally talking, it's been too many years." Alma says. Alecay? Sienna looks at me in confusion. "Yeah, they both need it. Alec has grown up a lot and I think Walter can see that." I say. Alma smiles. "The best times are when they're young." She says referring to the kids. "I know." I smile. "So tell me about you and Jett's father's relationship." Alma says. "It's a strange one but we're working on it. For Jett." I say. "How so?" Alma asks. "He's the alpha of the pack where I grew up. We never really crossed paths until I found out he was my mate, he rejected me soon after my first time. I left not knowing I was even pregnant with Jett and I went to live with my grandparents. I came back when Jett was two, just before I met Alec. I went home to see my parents. I missed them and hadn't seen them. I found out then that Jett's father had mated with my best friend soon after I left and they had a son who was born around two days after Jett." I say. Alma looks shocked, she then smiles. "You've been through so much, I apologise for my Walter's way of words." She says. I smile. "No problem." I say. Sienna stays silent. "I'm really proud of how far Alecay has come. I'm proud of my son Arthur. I'm proud of all of them." Alma says. "You should be. They're all amazing, right Sienna?" I smile. Her eyes were fixated on Spencer and the kids. "Right." She smiles. "Daddy!" Chloe calls causing me to turn around. He and Walter walked out chuckling, I guess it was sorted. Alma's face lit up and so did mine. Alec lifts up Chloe as he gets to the door, she lays her head on to his shoulder and he kisses her forehead. Walter sits beside Alma and they look at their grandchildren and their great-grandchildren with pride. "Isn't it wonderful Walter." Alma says smiling. "It sure is. But I do miss my son, no matter how old he is he's still my boy." Walter says. "Lynx!" Alec calls. Lynx stops and begins walking over. "Abuelo and Abuela are ready to go to dad's." Alec says. "Okay. I'm ready when you guys are. Lynx says wiping the sweat off his forehead. "It was a pleasure meeting you all." Alma says as the kids come closer. "You too bisabuela and bisabuelo." Jett says smiling. She beams and pulls him in to a hug. Walter smiles proudly. They smother the kids in kisses and then she turns to me. "It was a pleasure meeting you too Olivia, I hope we see you all again soon." She says. "Definitely." I say. Alec nods. "And you Alec." Walter says. Alec winces a little. "You have grown in to a wonderful young man, I am proud of you." He says. Alec grins. They hug, we all hug. Alec, the kids and I walked them all to the door. Spencer and Alec carried their bags and loaded up Lynx's car. "Hey dad, can we go over to Grandpa's with them?" Jett asks, Alec looks over at Lynx. "I can bring them back later?" He says. "Pleaseeeeee." Jayson says. Alec smiles. "Go ahead." He says. Jett and Jayson run towards the car and they climb in. "Wait!" I say as Lynx begins to get in to the car. Alec looks over at me. "Give Lynx their suits for tonight's dinner." I whisper to Alec. He nods and walks inside. Moments later he appears with two pressed suits on hangers and two rucksacks. Lynx comes over. "Its for tonight. There's clean underwear. Get them to have a shower and put the suits on." Alec says. "I got it." Lynx says taking the stuff. He walks over to the boot and places them in neatly, he then climbs in to his car. I feel a tugging at my leg, I look down at Colton and I lift up him up, he lays his head down on to me, he didn't feel right. I watched as they all left, with us waving them off. "We better go too." Spencer says. "Bye." We all say as he and Sienna leave.
We walk back in and we head in to the living room. I sit down to examine Colton, he was hot. "Alec can you make Colton some water." I say as I take his shirt off him. I lay him into a cradle position. "Okay." Alec says standing up and leaving the room. "I want water too daddy!" Eli calls running behind him. I looked back down at Colton, he was looking back at me. I could see he was getting sick. Shortly after Alec walks back in with a two bottles of water. He hands one to Chloe and one to me. He sits beside me. "I think he's getting sick." I say. As I begin feeding him. "We can skip the dinner tonight?" Alec says. "I think we might have to." I say. Alec shrugs, Eli climbs on the sofa in between us. Alec lifts up Chloe and places her on his lap, She lays down on him and he cuddles her. I sat there thinking for a moment in silence. "You should go Alec, you're the alpha. You need to make an appearance." I say. "I don't have to." He says. "You do. Take Eli and Chloe with you, they can't miss it, your mom wouldn't be happy." I say. Alec sighs. "Because you said mom. I'll go." He sighs and stands up. "Come on bud, let's get ready to go to Abuela's." Alec says standing up with Chloe in his arms. Eli jumps off the sofa and follows behind them. "When they go shall we go and get in to momma's bed." I whisper to Colton. He nods weakly, I smile. He curls up in to a ball in my arms and I kiss his forehead.
We spent an hour just sitting on the sofa, Alec came down carrying Eli and Chloe. He and Eli had matching black suits with blue shirts and black ties. He had changed Chloe in to a black and blue tutu dress and put glittery black shoes on her. "You all look so adorable." I say taking a picture of them all. "Say cheese!" I say as Alec stood holding them in each arm. "Cheese!" They all say as I tap the button. The flash comes on and they all beam, I clicked on the picture and instantly noticed they all had the same cheesy smile. It made me smile, I sent it to Alec's phone and I put my phone back on the sofa beside me. I kissed Chloe and Eli on their heads, Alec then kissed me. I smiled. "Are you sure your gonna be okay?" He asks me raising his eyebrow. I nod. "I've got Colt." I smile. He gives me a weary smile. "Just call me and I'll come straight home. Okay?" He says. "Okay Alec." I say. He gives me another kiss. "Bye babies." I say kissing them again. Alec then grabs his keys and they all disappear out the door.
The house was silent, it was kind of spooky. I walked in to the living room, Colton had already fallen asleep. "Great." I mumble, gently sitting beside him. His cheeks were flushed and he looked sweaty, I moved the hair from his face and used one of Chloe's hair bands to hold it up. Alec needs to cut his hair. I kissed him and undone the top buttons of his baby grow. I grabbed the remote and began watching the TV. My phone rang disturbing me, it was a private number. "Hello?" I answer. "Hello, am I speaking to a Mrs Olivia Royal?" The person on the phone says. "Yes this is Olivia, who's calling?" I ask, the voice still unfamiliar. "My name is Doctor Nicholas Upton and I specialise in the recovery and rehabilitation back in to the public of people who have suffered from mental breakdowns." He says. I was confused. "Okay." I say. "I am calling on behalf of one of my patients, you know him. Mr Kieran Scott." Doctor Upton says, my stomach ties in a knot. He's okay. "Olivia are you still there?" He asks. "Yes." I whispered. "Kieran was brought here by his brother after an attempted suicide. After tests, therapies and group therapy session. I am pleased to say that Kieran has improved a lot." He says. "Okay." I say. "Now, I have Mr Scott sitting here with me and he would like to speak with you, are you available for him?" He asks. My stomach sinks. I did miss him a lot. Even after everything. He is my bestfriend. Apart from Alec. "Olivia, are you still there?" He asks me. "Yes." I answer. "Well, are you available to talk to Mr Scott? I have him on the other line and I can transfer you through." He says. I take a deep breath. "Okay." I say. "Thank you Olivia." The line goes silent. "Olivia." His voice says. "Kieran, I'm glad you're doing okay now." I say. "Olivia, I'm sorry." He says. "I know you are." I say. "I really am sorry." He says. "Let's not dwell on the past Kieran. It's over, it's happened. And I'm not mad. I'm just glad you're doing okay and you're alive." I say. I was glad. Relieved. I thought he was dead somewhere. "I am Olivia. I finally get released in a few weeks." He says happily. "How do you feel about that?" I ask him. "I'm ready for it to be honest Liv. I need to apologise to everyone. Including my boys it was selfish of me. How are they? I bet they're big now. Do they ask about me? I miss them." He says. I smile. "The boys were staying with me first. But I'll tell you more when you get out. However they have been staying with my parents. They love it. My dad takes them fishing and stuff he used to do with Jordan. I'm pretty sure they ask for you. In all honesty Kier. We've been trying to keep them busy because I didn't know what to tell them. I didn't even know if you were alive." I say honestly. "I understand Liv. I can only apologise to everyone Liv. I was going through a rough time and that's not me anymore. I've been taught how to handle things much better." He says. I smile. "I'm just glad you're feeling better." I say. "So am I, cmon liv tell me what I've missed." He chuckles. "Kassie's got a baby, Jordan's got a baby. Bolton has another on the way." I say. "What about you liv? Anymore?" Kieran says. I chuckle. "After the twins there's no more. Yet." I say. He chuckles. I missed that laugh, he sounded much more happier. "Hey, I'm finally allowed visitors. So if you want, I could put your name down and maybe you could come and visit me?" He asks. "That sounds great Kier." I say. "I've got to go now. Time's up. Kiss my boys for me and let everyone know I'm doing fine." He says. "Okay Kieran, take care." I say. "Love you Olive." He says. "Love you to Kierbear." I say. He chuckles once more before the line goes dead. "Mrs Royal?" The doctor says. "Hello." I say. "Thank you for doing that. I can see Kieran responded well to that conversation. When he first started the therapies your name came up an awful lot, he was really torn up for doing what he did to you and to his family." He says. "I knew he wasn't right." I say honestly. "Which is why he came for help and he got it from me and my team." He says. "I'm glad he sounds better." I say. "Thank you for taking the time this evening to talk to him, I'm sure he told you he will soon be allowed visitors. Maybe if you come I could talk to you better and you will understand abit better. I'm sure this is a lot for you over the phone." He says. Colton stirs, I look down. He was waking up. "I'll be sure to visit once he is allowed." I say. "Okay Mrs Royal, I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing before I called. Sorry for taking up so much time." He says. "It was worth it." I smile. I was really happy Kieran was okay. "Take care." He says. "You too." I say hanging up. I take another deep breath before putting my phone beside me. "Hey baby boy." I say lifting Colton up so he was sitting beside me. "Shall we give Nana a call?" I ask him, he nods and smiles. I dial my mom's number, she instantly picks up. "Hey dear." My mom says. "Nana!" Colton says happily "Hey mom." I say. "Hello Nanas Angel boy." She says. Colton giggles. "Mom are you busy?" I ask. "No, your father has taken the boys over to Boltons. He and Bolt are fixing the nursery." She says. "Can you come over? We need to talk. I would come to you but Colton's not very well. Alec has taken the boys and Chloe over to his moms for that dinner thing. It's pretty important." I say. "Sure honey, I'll be right over." My mom says. "Thank you, see you soon." I say. "See you soon, love you." My mom says hanging up. "Nana's coming." I say looking at Colton, he smiles happily. I pick up my phone and dial Alec, he answers quickly. "Is everything okay?" He asks worried. "Everything's fine babe, I was just checking you're doing okay." I say. "We're fine babe, how's Colt?" He asks me. "He's okay, he's just woken up from a nap. How's the party?" I say. "Good, it's okay I guess, I wish you were both here. I picked up Summer on the way so I think she's going to be spending the night. Everyone is here though." He says. "I'm glad everyone came, including Summer. My mom is on her way over, shouldn't you be socialising Alpha?" I say. "Daddy!" Colton says, I think he realised I was talking to Alec. I put the phone on loud speaker. He chuckles. "Hello my boy." He says. "I don't really want to be here Liv." He says. "It's only one night Alec, come out of your dads office." I say. He chuckles again. "How did you know I was there?" He asks. I chuckle. "I know you very well Mr Royal." I say, he chuckles again. "Fine." He sighs. "You'll be home before you know it." I say. "I know babe, why's your mom coming? Is everything okay?" He asks. "We'll talk about it later, everything's fine." I say. "Alright babe, if anything call me and we'll be straight home." Alec says. "Okay, I love you." I say. "I love you too." He says. "Love you Daddy." Colton says. "I love you too my boy." Alec says. "Byeeeeeee." Colton says as I hang up. We sit in silence for a minute, Colton climbs on to my lap and hugs me. "How you feeling bud?" I ask him. "Good." He nods. "You sure?" I ask feeling his head, his temperature had gone down. "Yep." He says, I smile. His cheeks weren't as flushed as before, he was back to his normal self. I sat him on the sofa. "You hungry?" I ask him. He shakes his head. "Want a tea?" I ask him. He nods. I stand up, he climbs off the sofa and we both walk in to the kitchen. I get his tea bottle and I place it on the side, I switch the kettle on and then I walk over to him. I sit him in his high chair and I walk over to the bread bin and I get a loaf of bread out, I get a slice of bread and I put it in the toaster. Once the kettle had finished boiling, I got a tea cup and made a warm tea, I poured it in to his bottle and left it on the side. The toast had quickly finished and I put it on one of his plastic plates, I lightly spread butter on to it and cut it into squares. I placed them both in front of him just as the doorbell rung, it was my mom. I quickly ran to the door and opened it. "Hey mom." I say running back in to the kitchen, she closes the door and follows me to the kitchen. "Hey dear." She says. "Hello Nanas Angel boy, are you sick?" She asks walking over to him kissing his forehead. "Nana." He says just before eating a square of toast. "Do you want a tea?" I ask her. "Sure." She smiles as she sits on the chair beside the high chair. "So what's the important thing we couldn't discuss on the phone?" My mom asks. "I had a phone call this evening by a doctor." I say. "Are you okay?" My mom says interrupting me. "I'm fine mom." I say, I explain to her the conversation while making her tea. "Kieran, thank god he's okay." My mom says. I nod. "I thought you should know since the boys are staying with you, he will be getting released soon and he wants me to visit him before that happens." I say. "How does Alec feel?" My mom asks. I shrug. "We haven't spoken about it yet." I admit. "He's always been there for you Liv, before his breakdown, I know what he done was real bad but he wasn't in the right frame of mind and we can't punish him now that he is better. He is trying." My mom says. "I know." I sigh. "He was there while you were gone and from the moment you came back, I'm not going to leave him to go through this alone, you shouldn't either." My mom says, she was right. "I'll speak to your father and you speak to Alec. They're both stubborn but hopefully they will understand." My mom says, she finishes her tea and walks over to the sink. She washes her cup and then walks over to Colton, she cleans him up and takes his stuff. She washes that too then walks over to him and lifts him up. "I've missed you." She says kissing his face, he beams.
We were sat in the living room when Alec and the kids came home, the front door opens. "Honey I'm home." Alec whispers. "We're in here." I say. Alec walks in carrying a sleeping Chloe. "I'll get them ready for bed." My mom says. "Yeah nanna can get us ready." Eli smiles. "Alright, go on kids. Jett, Jay & Summer. You can get in to your pyjamas as well." Alec nods. They smile and they head upstairs leaving me and Alec alone in the living room. "How was it?" I ask. "Good, the kids were angels." He chuckles with a slight eye roll. I smile. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." I say with a smile. "How was colt? Is he okay?" Alec asks. I nod. "I think he felt better after his nap." I say. "Which reminds me?" I say. Alec looks up at me. "I got a phone call today, from a doctor." I say. "Are you okay?" He asks. I nod. "Not my doctor, Kieran's doctor.." I say. "Kieran." Alec says raising his eyebrow. I nod. "He's been in a rehab facility because of his break down. Part of his rehabilitation back in to the outside world is to speak to me and apologise." I say. Alec nods. "I understand babe, I'm slightly not happy about it. But. You've had to deal with a lot of my shit recently. You've handled it excellent by the way and you've supported me through everything, I can't bring myself to not support you through this." He says. I smile. "Thank you Alec." I say. He scowls. "You're welcome." His face softens. He leans forward and kisses me, I kiss him back. He stands up and clears his throat. "I'm gonna go and get out of this suit." He says as he walks upstairs. I hear my mother greet him as they pass each other on the stairs. She comes in to the living room. "The twins are asleep, Eli is too. Jett and Jayson are in their room and Summer, the sweet girl. She's in her bed." My mom beams. I smile back at her. "Liv, you'd tell me if you feel overwhelmed right?" She asks concerned. I nod and smile. "Of course I would mom, I'm fine." I say. She sits beside me. "Your eyes never lie." She says. I sigh. "Mom, I'm fine." I say. "When you're ready to talk you know where you can find me and your father, I better get going though, they should be home now." She says standing up. I stand up too and I walk her to the door, we hug briefly and we say bye. I watch as she climbs in her car and she leaves. I close the door and I walk back in to the house. I switch the lights and the televisions off, I lock the back and front door, then I head upstairs. I pop my head in to each of their rooms. Summer was asleep with a book on her, I switched her lamp off, took the book off her and closed the door a little. I popped my head in to Eli's room, his light snores filled the room, I closed the door a little. I popped my head in to the twins room, they were both asleep snuggling their comfort blankets. I smiled and closed the door a little. I then opened Jett's room. They were still awake playing PlayStation together. "Not too late okay boys." I say. "Okay mom. We're just playing with River and Luca." He says. I smile. "Night." I say. "Good night." Jayson says with a smile. "Good night mom." Jett says. I close his door and I head into our room. Alec was still in the shower. I locked the door, undressed and headed in to the bathroom. I stood watching him for a moment before he realised I was there, he squinted so the water wouldn't get into his eyes but his boyish grin invited me in. And so I did. I climbed in to the shower with Alec. "Mrs Royal you are a tease." He growls before pinning me against the wall, he begins kissing me and I kiss him back, it was intense, heated and steamy. Alec begins kissing my neck, still I was pinned to the wall unable to move. I tilted my head back allowing him to continue. His hands travel down my body until he had grip of each of my legs. He slowly lifts me with ease and positions myself so he was inside of me, I moaned in pleasure as he began thrusting himself slowly in and out. I hear his moans and it drives me crazy, I dig my nails into his back, he bites down on my neck. He picks up his speed and I feel his grip on me tighten. He uses his spare hand to roam my body. He carried on thrusting his hips in a slow rhythm until we both came in a sweet ecstasy.
Alec carried me out of the shower and put me down on the bed, he walked over to his drawer and gave me one of his t-shirts. I put it on and then walked over to the door unlocking it. By the time I had got there Alec was already in his boxers and climbing in to bed. I switched the light off and climbed in beside him, I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes. I could feel Alec gently stroking my hair. "Good night baby." He whispers. "Good night." I yawn before Alec pulls my body on to his, I snuggle into him my eyes still closed, I felt him plant a soft kiss on my head before we both fell asleep.
