Chapter 1 - Brooke's POV:
Ever since Brandon and I did the routine ‘snapshot’ together we haven't talked, we have been around each other and I have received friendly smiles which I have returned, but we haven't actually talked. I think it has something to do with the fact that Miss Abby set us on a date a while back and it was the most awkward thing ever. He was really nice but I just didn't want anything to happen. Not that it would have, recently I couldn’t help but notice that Brandon is extremely attractive. He is also quite popular. I am nobody special, Brandon wouldn’t even notice me. When we did go on our ‘date’ I wasn't interested in him at all, and when I saw the date on TV I realized how rude I came off. I really didn’t mean to be mean, and now I think Brandon also has the impression that I hate him or something. But I really don’t, I didn’t realize it until now, but I always find myself staring at him. Although I don’t think I like him, I think it’s just a tiny little crush. And anyway i’m 14 and Brandon’s 16, i’m way too young for him.
