Benifits of Yoga

When you think of yoga, you may most probably imagine someone in a complicated position humming and looking like a total freak. (I do.)

However that is not the case...

Before I start ranting on about the benifits of yoga, I am quickly going to explain to you one of the easiest ways to do yoga at home.

sit crossed-legged

●Palms facing upwards

●straight back

●eyes closed

●Imagine a place where you feel totally at peace... Imagine a beach, an island, a swimming pool or whatever helps you feel calm.

●From there you can carry on closing you eyes and creating a little story in your head.

Yoga is a very calming type of workout that creates peace both physically and mentally. I have tried it once and it actually worked!

This is going to sound really wierd, but of you are ever at home and you feel a little moody or irritated, a few minutes of yoga will totally change your mood!

Also depending on what yoga moves/positions you are doing, yoga slowly stretches out the muscle which can often be thought to be very relaxing.
