The Treble Makers Room
Echo was the only member that was even remotely happy right now. "How would they like it if we dressed up in human bonesss and ssskin." Lasha hissed bitterly. Choken, Mezmo and Snappa all nodded in agreement.
"It's disgusting and offensive on so many levels. The sooner we leave the better." (Y/N) declared.
"But what about Zane?" Echo pleaded. "Echo. Zane might not even be here it's a trap." (Y/N) sighed exacted from trying to explain it to Echo.
Mezmo started to pat Echo on the back. "Echo..." Mezmo began unsure of how to continue to explain this to the copper Nindroid.
A tapping sound was coming from the balcony could be heard. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow. Choken went and opened the door and Lloyd and Jay entered.
"Sorry about this but we needed to talk to you." Lloyd said quickly shutting the door behind them.
"About what?" (Y/N) questioned and Jay pulled out the poster with Zane on it.
"Where did you get that?" (Y/N) asked inspecting the poster. "It's what drew us here. It says that Zane is alive and if we wanted to find out more we'd have to enter the tournament to find out." Jay answered.
"It'ss obviously bait, to lure them here." Snappa huffed. "Where is Zane?" Echo asked looking at the poster with his brother on it with hope.
"Echo..." Mezmo began only to be cut off by Jay. "We know it a trap we're not blind."
"All the Elemental Masters are being gathered here for something either it's for wealth or status or information/blackmail. If Zane is alive he's been brought here and it can't be good." Lloyd pointed out.
"Lloyd, that just proof against your claims whoever wrote that could be lying just to get you and your team here." (Y/N) pointed out letting out a frustrated sigh.
"We're leaving when the next boat getsss here, You ssshould do the sssame." Lasha informed them.
Jay watched as Echo was twitching and struggling to say or do anything to get the rest of the band to change their mind and stay on Chen's Island.
Echo's golden eyes suddenly went wide when he realised how he could get (Y/N) to change her mind.
"(Y/N), I would like to use my one." Echo said determinedly. The four Serpentine looked at the copper nindroid as though he was crazy.
"Echo, you can't be serious!" Choken gawked at the Nindroid.
"Your brother may not even be here and you want to waste you're only trump card that can get you anything in life on something that may not even be there?" Snappa questioned wondering if Echo had a screw loose.
"Snappa's right, that's too big of a thing to waste on something." Lasha warned giving the two ninjas a dirty look for filling Echo with false hope. Mezmo nodded incessantly unable to find the correct words to say.
Lloyd and Jay looked on in confusion unsure of what the band was discussing.
"Echo you understand that you only have one of those, right?" (Y/N) questioned.
"Yes I understand, and I wish to use it; Even if there is only a small chance you will find my brother I would much rather use it then spend my life wondering if I could have used it to have him back." Echo answered clearly and honestly.
This brought tears to Jay's eyes and the Serpentine withdrew their objections of Echo using his only ace.
"Very well Echo, you and the rest of the band will head to your homes, I will stay behind a search this island for Zane." (Y/N) strategised the Lasha, Choken, Mezmo and Snappa all went to protest but (Y/N) held up her hand.
"No arguing, do you want to stay here?" (Y/N) dared with a smirk on her face. The Serpentine understood. "You two stay on your guard and tell no-one of this." (Y/N) warned Jay and Lloyd.
Lloyd and Jay nodded and head back out the way they had entered. There was a booming knock on the door and the Serpentine, Jay and Lloyd panicked.
Poor Jay was caught off guard that he slipped over the railing and Lloyd quickly went after him.
"Echo don't talk till your back home." (Y/N) instructed and Echo nodded understanding.
(Y/N) opened the door forcefully with a rather annoyed look on her face. "Oh... It's you and the red-haired girl from earlier what are you two doing here?" (Y/N) questioned Kai and Skylor.
"It's Skylor." Skylor quickly butted in. "Today not going so well?" Kai questioned looking at (Y/N) angry face.
"Kai, people are walking around in Serpentine bones and skin. How angry do you think we all are right now." (Y/N) said sarcastically.
"Oh right. That's pretty offence." Kai said rubbing the back of his neck. (Y/N) rolled her eyes. "Do you want something?"
"Autographplease." Skylor shouted to quickly, shoving Kai closer who was holding a rolled up Treble Makers poster and a marker.
(Y/N) got the hint and took them from Kai and disappeared into the room. Snappa reappeared with the signed poster and handed it and the marker to Skylor before shutting the door.
"They must be really upset." Kai commented but Skylor didn't hear him she was too happy with her signed poster to care.
"I have to get this framed." Skylor yelled running down the halls and back to her room.
____Timeskip_____
Everyone was gathering in the cafeteria for dinner. Chen's people were serving the Elemental Masters their food.
Sensei Garmadon lead the line of Ninja at food bars. The man serving the food turned his nose up at Sensei Garmadon. "Nu-uh. Nothing for you. Next!" The man yelled refusing to serve Sensei Garmadon.
"There's a valuable lesson here. If you turn your back on your first evil sensei in an effort to go straight, you may not be served creamy biscuits." Sensei Garmadon told the Ninja with a chuckle and head further down the line.
"Extra creamy biscuits. And don't skimp." Jay ordered. Once all the ninja had food they start walking away from the line.
"And may I remind us, we still don't know where Zane is." Jay whispered to the other ninja.
"At least the chow's good." Cole said helping himself to some food.
"Argh! Also. What happens when you lose?" Jay ranted. "Don't think about that." Sensei Garmadon said to the ninja.
"It's all I can think about." Jay complained. "Our mission is simple. Tonight we find Zane and get off this crazy island." Kai ordered.
"And just how are we supposed to do that? They're not going let us just roam around." Cole asked.
"Then it's a good thing we're Ninja. Meet me in my room at midnight." Kai said.
The ninja walked to there table. "I can't wait to get off this island and back to my life, It nice not having to deal with evil on a regular basis." Jay sighed taking a seat.
Cole just had to open his mouth. "And here I thought Ninja never quit." Cole teased.
"And I used to think a Ninja wouldn't steal your girlfriend." Jay hissed back with a poisonous glare.
Just because the ninja were here to save Zane didn't negate the pains of the past few months. Cole and Jay had continued to be at each other's throats ever since.
Everyone was watching as Jay and Cole started argued with each other flinging unnecessarily nasty retorts and remarks back and forth.
The Treble Makers walked into the cafeteria. "Yum, turkey." Mezmo said swiping a whole turkey and eating it before anyone could stop him.
"Check it out dinner and a show." (Y/N) chuckled pointing out Cole and Jay fighting to the rest of the band.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Choken and Snappa started to shout at the pair. "I can help with that." (Y/N) said grabbing a pie off the counter and chucking it at the ninja's table splattering all five occupants of the table.
"Challenge excepted." Lloyd shouted with a huge smile grabbing some food off of his plate and threw it a (Y/N) who easily dodged it.
It instead hit Gravis the Master gravity in the back of the head. "Oops. Sorry." Lloyd said Gravis used his powers to launch a number of food projectiles at the ninja.
Lloyd, Sensei Garmadon and Kai managed to duck just in time to dodge the flying food Jay and Cole weren't so lucky.
"Mmmm, cake." Cole said licking what had landed in his face. "My eyes." Jay hissed.
Karlof and Neuro were the unlucky recipients of the flung food as well as the severer that had denied Sensei Garmadon creamy biscuits.
"Food fight!" Griffin Turner the Master of Speed shouted dumping some gazpacho soup over Ash Elemental Master of Smoke before running away.
Karlof let out a mighty roar slamming his massive fists down on a table sending food flying in all directions.
Elemental Master of Nature Bolobo created a plant to block an incoming downpour of spaghetti.
Jacob Pevsner was hiding under a table with Skylor.
Tox threw some spices in the air causing Griffin Turner to trip and go skidding across the floor into two of Chen's men knicking them over.
Tox cheered only to struck with a banana cream pie that Ash had been aiming at Griffin Turner.
Tox wiped off the pie grabbing the nearest dish she could find and flung it back at Ash turned into smoke dogging it only for Paleman the master of Light to get splattered.
The Serpentine were behind the serving counter randomly tossing out food in any which direction they could, not caring who the hit.
(Y/N) and Echo were being observed form the shadows by Shade who was waiting for his moment to strike. Echo accidentally knocked over a whole Flambé dessert that was still on fire right into Shade's path thwarting his attack.
(Y/N) was laughing it felt so good to be mischievous.
Chen and Clouse came marching through the cafeteria doors to see what was going on with the Elemental Masters.
Chen seemed delighted in the mayhem Clouse, on the other hand, had spied (Y/N) and was now hiding behind Master Chen.
Neuro who had taken cover behind an overturned table took notice of this. His eyes darted back and forth between (Y/N) and Clouse as trying to decide who's mind to read first.
Neuro decide on Clouse to try and see what he was so afraid of and stepped back, in horror at what he had just seen.
____Inside Clouse's Mind____
Long before Clouse was a student of Master Chen he and his parents were slaves to a terrifying presence.
The presence had an unhealthy pale complexion with deep purple and red veins that run from its eyes that glowed a reddish orange. Clocked in shadows that cast a shadow on darkness itself.
This presence emitted an aura of pure Evil the sight of it made Neuro's blood freeze.
The presence looking around at the battlefield that surrounded it, Neuro almost heaved the battlefield was littered with bodies, civilians and monstrous creatures the likes of which Neuro had never seen alike.
Neuro's eyes widened. The presence locked it's glowing reddish-orange eyes on to him and came for him at inhuman speeds.
The mindscape changed to a new memory recent memory it was when they were all at the ferry Clouse was arguing with Garmadon when some shouting got his attention that was when Neuro saw it.
The girl, (Y/N) her eyes turned the same colour as that evil presence head just seen.
Neuro had seen enough and pull out of Clouse's mind.
(Third Person P.O.V)
Neuro nearly choked on the air as he tried to read (Y/N)'s mind.
Neuro didn't understand this at all. In fact, for the first time in his life, Neuro couldn't read someone's mind.
Neuro stared at (Y/N) in disbelief he couldn't read her mind at all.
