The rest of North and some of South America waited for the youngest of their family to arrive. They were also there with Mexico City, New York City, Ottawa, Montreal, Virginia, and a few more siblings/cousins.
Diego was pacing around, he wanted to see his twin. His baby sister. He had to see her.
Damn it, why didn't go with her? He was supposed to protect her for goodness sakes!!
And he didn't trust Spain, so he really should have gone with her. Damn it, he failed as an older brother, as a twin.
This and the fact that they had been kidnapped as children? This was... Diego fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around himself. He started to shake.
His family immediately got up. America, Canada, Argentina, and Ecuador all rushed to him.
"You're okay, you're okay," Ecuador said as he pulled Diego up with Canada.
Diego felt weak, he was zoning out and couldn't think straight. He couldn't stand without the help of his brother and cousins.
"D, maybe you should sit down," America said, "We should get you something to eat."
Ecuador and Canada sat Diego down in a seat and he placed his head on Venezuela's lap and whimpered, "I want my twin."
Venezuela ran her hands through his hair, "She's coming D. Go to sleep, okay?" She got a nod back but inside of closing his eyes, Diego just zoned out.
Venezuela looked at her South American siblings with worry. They were all worried about the mental state of their cousins. Too much was happening way too fast.
Colombia looked at Canada and America, the oldest of the twins had his head in his hands while Alfred had his knees pulled up to his chest and had his head down.
"Maybe we should all get something to eat," Brazil said, he looked at Paraguay, Argentina, Peru, Virginia, New York City, New York, and Mexico City, "Let's go find something for us to eat, boys. We'll be back soon."
They got up and headed out the airport.
Colombia went to sit next to the twins, "Do you guys want to go out for some fresh air? Mar won't be here for another hour and a half."
Canada looked up, "No thanks," He looked and sounded so tired. There was a lot going on in his mind right now.
She looked at Alfred, "Alfie?"
"I.... don't want to."
They looked out of it too.
"What did we ever do to deserve this?" Canada asked.
"Nothing, you guys did nothing at all," She said. They all looked at Diego when another whimper was heard from him.
Canada got up and sat next to Venezuela. He kissed his brother's forehead and ruffled his hair. "She'll be here soon D."
"I want her here now."
"I know, me too."
"I hate them," He whispered, "I....I." He trailed off as a few tears came up, but he didn't let them fall.
"They never cared about us at all," Canada sighed, "They only wanted us for land, I bet. That's probably all they thought we were good for."
Colombia couldn't take it, she hugged Canada. The younger nation held in his tears. His whole life had been a lie, well... that's what it felt like.
When she pulled back. She hugged Alfred tightly, "I'm so sorry guys, we couldn't protect you."
"You guys didn't do anything wrong," He sighed, he was resting his head on her shoulder.
She kissed his cheek, "You guys should go to sleep. You're all extremely tired," She said at all of North America.
Alfred closed his eyes and shook his head.
Montreal looked at Venezuela, "What are we gonna do about them?" She whispered.
She sighed, "Just be there for them, that's all we can do."

Maria sighed in relief as the plane started to lower itself to the ground. She was finally home.
She couldn't wait to see her family, that's all she wanted to do.
Since she had slept for 8 hours of the 11 hour flight, she actually felt a little more relaxed.
"Ready to see everyone?" Portugal asked her.
"Yeah," She smiled, the girl took off the blanket Portugal had wrapped around her when she was asleep, "It's time to go explain everything."
"If you're not comfortable to do it, you don't have to. I'm sure they'll understand," He said.
"Yeah, they will. But I want to get everything out," She took a deep breath.
The plane touched down on the ground and the two nations got her things. Once it completely stopped, Maria quickly walked out. She really wanted to see everyone. Portugal was right behind her.
They walked through the airport and the girl started to run when her family came into view.
Diego was the first one to see her. He immediately got up from Venezuela's lap and ran towards Maria.
The Mexicos met each other and pulled each other in tight hug.
"I'm so so sorry, I wasn't there," He whispered to her, "I should have been there with you, next time you go to Spain, I'm coming with you."
She smiled at him, "I'm not going to Spain for a long time. You did nothing wrong D. It's not your fault, none of this is."
The two heard footsteps and they felt their brothers put their arms around them.
"I'm so glad you're back Mar," Canada said in relief.
North America pulled away from each other with smiles on their faces. South America and Portugal were so glad to see those, especially with everything going on at the moment.
Venezuela came but and her and Colombia hugged her tightly. "We're gonna make it through this, okay?" Colombia said to her. She nodded.
Brazil walked up to his father, "Thank you so much Papa," He smiled, "I really don't know what we're gonna do about this."
Portugal smiled at him and put an arm around him, "One step at a time menino, you all have been through so much without the rest of the world's knowing. You guys will get through this, and now I'm here to help you."
Brazil nodded, his father always knew what to say.
Argentina came behind Maria, grabbed her, and spun her around. He was doing it to make them all laugh, since everyone knew there would be a tense talk later.
Mexico City rushed up to her and hugged her tightly along with British Colombia and Maryland.
This had been the longest 11 hour wait in their lives.
"Did you eat anything yet?" Paraguay asked.
"Portugal persuaded me to eat a muffin," She said, "That's it."
"So you barely ate," Ecuador sighed. During their long wait, her brothers hadn't ate anything no matter how hard they had tried to persuade them.
"Okay," Portugal said, getting all his kids attention, "You all look very tired. I'm guessing none of you had slept."
They all nodded.
"Those four need to get more food in them and everyone who hasn't slept should try and get some. You're all gonna need it." He was telling the truth, Maria had already told him everything and it just was....
Even if they weren't gonna sleep, when Maria explained everything, they would be too shocked to sleep.
"I guess we should head out," Ecaudor called out.
The group started to walk out the airport together. Diego had an arm around Maria, it was clear that the twins were in a deep conversation.
Canada was walking next to Portugal as they walked out, "What are we gonna do now? I don't even know how to react to this, Papa."
Portugal looked at him, "You all don't have to reactor go through this alone, okay? I'm here for you, you have your younger brothers and sisters, your cousins. We're all here. I want you to know that everything will be alright, you all are very strong." He wrapped his arm around Canada.
Canada shook his head, he had tears threatening to fall, "Then why don't I feel like that? I swear, I'm getting to my breaking point."
Canada didn't notice it, but the provinces, states, cities were around looked scared. They knew what happened last time someone in their family reached their breaking point. And his cousins who were there, Ecuador, Venezuela, Paraguay, and Peru all stopped with a look of fear in their eyes.
When Alfred had reached his breaking point a month ago, he almost committed suicide....
They were all worried about the psychological state of their cousins at the moment so that statement was not okay with them. They all looked at each other.
Portugal noticed this of course. He motioned for them to take a breath.
"I just don't even know anymore," Canada sighed. He was tired, no actually- he was exhausted, hurt, in a way scared, a little hungry, and just didn't know what to believe anymore.
No, he was gonna suck it up. And you know why?
He was the oldest of North America, he had two baby brothers and a baby sister who were looking up to them. He couldn't be weak now, they needed him.
"I'm-I'm fine," He lied.
Venezuela came over to them, she put a hand on his shoulder, "Please don't lie to us Mattie," They didn't want a repeat of what happened with Alfred.
Please no...
"We're here. I promise, we'll get through this, okay?"
Canada sighed and shrugged. Why did this have to happen to them? They never did anything wrong, "I don't know," Something snapped in him all of a sudden and he could control the tears anymore.
He fell to the ground and tears started to fall, "I just don't know."
Portugal was immediately down, he held Canada as the boy sobbed into his chest. "You're gonna get through this. I'm here, your cousins are here, we're all here for you four. Don't lie to us, we're all here. It's gonna be okay menino. I swear I'm never going to let them hurt you ever again."
He was really gonna have to kick his brother's ass. He really didn't want to tell those three the Americas' business until they were ready confront them. But he couldn't stand watching his children go through emotional hell. He had to confront them about this.
"Mattie!!" Vancouver, Ottawa, and Toronto were the first to run over to them.
Mexico and America rushed over, "Mattie," Maria hugged her brother. The four siblings were on the ground with their brother.
South America were on the ground soon too. They all looked at each other, their baby cousins didn't deserve this.
"Those bastards are gonna pay," Brazil mumbled. He couldn't stand seeing them like this, "They're gonna pay for everything they ever did."

They drove to Maria and Diego's house in different cars. The whole time, North America was silent. They had nothing to say.
They were now in the living room of the house.
The four siblings were all sitting together as Maria told them what happened in Spain. No one had slept, they wanted to know what had happened.
Portugal was hearing the story for the second time and still was shocked at everything.
When Maria finished, everyone was silent. Alfred was shaking and Canada was zoned out. Their cousins who were on video chats, were silent. Every single person was shocked in some way.
"C-can I see the charm?" Diego asked. He held out a shaky hand.
"Are you sure? The memories come pretty extreme," She said.
"Yea- yes. I want to remember," He nodded. Everyone looked unsure but no one said anything.
She reached in her pocket and grabbed the two charms. She handed Diego's charm over to her twin.
And as soon as she did, he grabbed his head, painfully and screamed. Nobody knew what to do.
Diego soon fainted.
Argentina picked him up, "I'll put him to bed," He walked upstairs.
"Alfie?" Colombia whispered to a still shaking America.
He shook his head.
Canada suddenly got up and walked out the room. He didn't stay anything to anyone, he just got up and left.
Venezuela, who was holding America, looked at Argentina who nodded.
"Mattie," He said as he followed his younger cousin.
They heard glass break and Canada yelling at Argentina to let him go in French. When that died down. Canada was pulled back into the room with Argentina.
He had bloody fists.
He had punched a mirror.
"Mattie," Chile, who was on a video chat, sighed.
Portugal was silent as he walked up to Canada and hugged the younger nation as he broke down again.
