{STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops}

The world is ending, obviously.

America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous.

There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . .

World catastrophe. The Storm.

Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives.

Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him.

How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker.

When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.

America was never an honest man- nor an honest country. He trusted himself much to highly, and eventually it seems to bite him right where it hurts- his own ego. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He glanced at the window- he felt it was quite obvious he was fake sleeping, yet the ones outside didn't seem to realize. He'd tucked the key away- damn, was he forgetting anything? No, they were only coming to get him. He heard his window break and the bullets start to cut through him- it hurt, sure but he could deal with it. The gun he kept under his pillow was raised- a few bangs and one of them dropped, but not the others. One ran forward and he felt a needle in his arms- by then, it was too late. She drove slowly through the canyon walls into the place she called home. It seemed quiet, but she guessed it was just the early morning- nobody here was really a morning person. She drove into the commons slowly, so that people on their horses could dodge her car- well, there was nobody in the commons. She jumped out of her car. Something was wrong. The entire town was like a ghost had overcome it. "What?" the tidal wave came crashing down when she saw the bullets in the far wall, "No!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rated Mature for themes of excessive violence, self-harm, torture, and kidnapping. The American Revolution was brutal. Blood was shed left and right. The boy Arthur used to know was now as strong as he, and he could do nothing about it. Once the battle was won, Alfred had declaired himself as America. As he went off, leaving Britain behind, he constantly looked back. He would remember the fun times they had together; the laughs they shared with so much passion and heart. But those days were nothing now. America needed to create his own happy memories within his own Nation. Ever since that dark day, something dark festered within Alfred. Years and years went by and he tried desperately to surpress the evil, hiding it with a smile around his friends. As Alfred looked in the mirror, the only thing he could see was that aura of evil, which seemed to have formed into a humanization. As he observed it closer, he noticed the apperition looked exactly like him, but with a darker hint. Alfred was terrified and tried to run. But the other was just as fast. He glared at the Real America with scarlet eyes, his dark brown hair wavering in front of his face. As the imposter smiled, a single tooth had been missing. The bomber-jacket wardrobe and denum jeans remained the same, but the attitude differed completely. It wasn't long before the second Alfred had changed things. He kept the first Alfred in fear, threatening him constantly with his nail-embedded baseball bat; which had been blood-stained over time from innocent victims. And through those harsh years, Alfred learned-from Italy-about his other being. And Italy said: "They are called 2Ps; Second Players. They are the evil and mean versions of us, and they call us 1Ps; First Players". From that day forward, Allen, Alfred's 2P, had run his life like a dictator. But what was life like from the 2P's point of view?

Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. His mother's revenge would play out, and it would make him the happiest man in the world. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hetalia:Axis Powers. No ships in this book! If there is it's in the past! Mostly sibling bonding. America can shapeshift and is non-binary (he/him female titles).
