"When did you get that?" Nik says and points to me. He looks a little lower than my eyes and I cover my neck.
"What do you mean?" I say and he moves my hand and looks at the pentagram. His eyes widen at the sight and all I feel like doing is curling up in a ball in a corner.
"Why the hell did you get a pentagram?!" He yells. I bite my lip and look away. I look back over at Nik and he looks at me like I'm a monster. He grabs my hand and drags me out of the class room and all eyes are on us. We walk outside and stand right infront of the class room door.
"What's going on with you? Lately you've been different and I don't know if I really like it. I feel like I don't know you that much anymore." He says and goes to cup my face with one of his hands and I jolt back away from his touch.
"Like you don't know me! I got a small tattoo when I went to the party the other day because I was a little tipsy. I didn't do anything else Nikolai!" I say and he rolls his eyes and sighs. This man is really irritating me.
"Listen to me. You have a demonic tattoo! You've been acting strange lately. You called one of our waiters a sub from our college!" He says and my blood begins to boil.
"You know what. I feel like you've changed too. I feel like all you want now is sex and you know I can't right now." I say and tears start to fall. I can see anger in his eyes start to fade and his shoulders slump down.
"Look I'm sorry. I guess we're both just really stressed." He says and my blood boils even more. I know when he doesn't want to say me he says both or us. He thinks I'm the crazy one! He goes to hug me and I back away. I turn around and walk to my car.
"Where are you going?" He yells and I ignore him. He continues to call out my name and I just wipe a couple of tears as I bump into some people. They look at me with pity and I just walk faster to my car. Once inside I curl up in the drivers seat and let all my tears fall. I cried for what seemed like hours. I check the time and it's only been a couple minutes. I wipe my tears and jump when a large warm hand forces me to face them and they wipe my tears.
"Trouble in paradise?." Lucifer says and I look over at his purple and green eyes. The silver seems to be the same amount as yesterday as I look into them. I roll my eyes and back away from his touch.
"Can I ask you something? If someone had a dream about you would it come true." I say and he looks at me as if looking through me.
"Well that depends. It could be a past memory or past self that saw me or it could be your future self. It would only come true if you knew I was Satan. Why do you ask?" He says and I nod my head taking it all in. I was in a stone room but something about it seemed like it was close and yet so far from me.
"Maybe later Lucufer." I say and look back at the wheel. A ping rips through the silence and I look over at my phone. I look over and see it's from Nik.
Nikolai: hey are you coming back to class? The teacher is doing roll.
"Unbelievable! He only asks because the teachers asked! He doesn't even care." I say and inhale sharply.
"Trouble in paradise?" Lucifer says and I roll my eyes as he said it the second time and in a cocky tone.
"Well I do have to go soon." He says and I sigh before closing my eyes and turn on the car.
"So wh-" I look over and see he's gone. Great just great.
...
"Hey Noah have many costumers come in today?" I say as I come out of the back room. My shift started about thirty minutes ago but I was busy eating treats. Before Noah could answer the bell to the door rings.
"Hi what can I get for you today?" I say to the two men who walked in. They gave me a bad vibe. The first man had bruises and cuts on his face and his clothes were a little baggy and he looked me up and down sending shiver down my spine. The other man had dark curly hair and blue eyes with lust clouded in his eyes as he eyes me with a smirk.
"Hi what can I get for you?" I say and the men chuckle between themselves and look down at me.
"We'll take two black coffee and you." The man says and I ignore the comment and repeat his order.
"Ok that's two black coffees. Can I get you anything else?" I say and the other man leans in a little closer to me. His breath reeks of cigars and booze as he fans my face with his breath.
"I would like to take a taste of you." He says and I cut the act. I furrow my brows and placed my palm on his head and push him away.
"I'm sorry but I would dispise going out with someone like you and your boyfriend." I say and the men's face scrunch up in furry.
"What did you say to us!" The man yells and goes to rase a hand to hit me. I brace for impact but nothing came instead I hear the men struggle as they're voices start to fade away. I look back up to see the men being carried out by one of the workers that was working with me.
"Thanks Noah." I say and he nods. The rest of the day went on completely normal and L didn't show up so I assumed he was busy with his demon thing.
"Good night Noah drive home safe." I say and walk in the opposite direction to my car. I parked kind of far so that I didn't take a customers spot. On the way I heard a rustle in the bushes. I jump and walk a little faster and hear footsteps following me. When I turn around there's no one there. I turn on my flashlight and look around but see no one insight. A big sigh of relief hits me and I turn my flashlight back off. I turn around and am met with a chest.
"Ahhh!" I yell as I'm being picked up and carried. I look up and see it's one of the guys from earlier that had been kicked out by Noah.
"Let go of me you ass!" I say and kick and punch but he doesn't budge. The other man shows up and picks up my feet so now I can't kick.
"Hey I got room 12." he says and my heart drops and I go hysterical. I see in the distance they're dragging me to a filthy motel. No one is in sight and tears start to well up in my eyes. I cry and yell but no one comes to my rescue. They open the door and throw me on the bed. One of the men locks the door behind him and the other holds me down on the bed. I kick and scream as I see them unbuckle their pants.
"What a pretty face for such a demonic tattoo." He says and pushes my hair back. My eyes go big in realization and I manage to remove one of my hands from his grasp and tap on my mark.
"Ahhhhhh!" A blood curdling scream rips past my lips and tears well in my eyes. I'm met with a burning sensation and everything goes black for a second. A red light is flashing slightly in the corner of my eyes when my vision comes back. Sweat beads hang on my head and I pant.
"You cal-" I see Lucifer levitating next to the bed and when he sees me with a man on top of me pinning me down the color around his pupils turn the darkest purple I've ever seen in his eyes. The room became ice cold and the men begin to walk backwards. One of them runs to the door to leave but L removes the doorknob and they're trapped.
"What's going on?" He says and goes over to sit me up. My body aching and my throat killing me as tears stream down.
"These men came into my job today trying get me to go with them a-and then when I got off work I was w-walking to me car and they grabbed me and t-they took me here to r-r-rape me." I say and burry my face in his chest as I sob. My tears won't stop and I feel L stands up.
"Look, when I count to three I want you to close your eyes ok?" He says and I shakingly nod to him yes.
"1...." he says and stops levitating. His voice low and chilling
"2... he says and his entire eyes become black and his canine teeth become longer and shaper."
"3!" He says and his voice doesn't even sound like his. It was loud and booming. I shut my eyes and hear screams and yells coming from the two men. In a matter of second the men's screaming is gone and is replaced with silence and a low growl. The growl dies down and I hear footsteps approach as I shut my eyes. Suddenly a hand is placed on my head and pushing a lose strand away from my face.
"Ok... you can open your eyes." He says and I slowly open my eyes. I look around and all I see is his face inches away from mine. His eyes are a light purple and silver.
"Are you ok?" He asks and I nod. He wipes away some of the tears and picks me up bridal style. "I'm taking you home ok?" He says and I nod drifting off to sleep.
I wake up softly to hear a click noise and look to see L is taking me to my bed. He places me down gently and pulls the covers over me. He turns around to leave when I grab his hand and he stops. He sits there for a little bit before turning back around and looking down at me.
"Please stay with me...for tonight?" I say and his eyes turn a bright yellow. He takes off his clothes and snaps to put on a pair of sweats. He walks over and I feel the bed dip on one side. I turn over and I'm inches away from his chest. I placed my head on his chest and he combs his fingers through my hair as I fall asleep.
