Nandini enters the house to see Aditya and Manik still there in the hall, as soon as they see her they come towards her. Rishab leaves to his room and they are left in the hall alone.

N : good, saw many places, aryaman actually knows this city well.
M : really, then he should become a guide
Adi elbows manik which shuts him up while nandini looks at him puzzled.
Ad : nothing, u should go rest
N : ya, manik are you staying for dinner?
M : no, mom's home so I need to go.
Manik bids them bye while nandini also goes upstairs.

Preeti enters nandini's room while the latter was lying on the bed watching TV.

Nandini gives her a questioning stare, then goes back to watching TV.

P : navya has called 3 times asking to come over all of them are getting ready together.
N : I don't want to go. They will bore me. We both have done this before, we are enough for each other.
P : even I don't want to go. I am also not that good friend with any of them except navya.
N : exactly, moreover our fashion sense is amazing

Nandini gives her a thumbs up and both of them have full chilling.
P : OK get ready now, only 1 hour left

Nandini and preeti get up doing their hair and make up AMD get ready into there dresses.
N : u look gorgeous, my brother is going to fall for you definitely.
Preeti blushes a little.
P : u are no less, anyways I am going down.

Preeti and adi have already left and Manik is waiting for nandini to come down. He sees her descending the stairs and is mesmerised by her. She looked exactly like a princess.

Manik looked handsome but nandini wasn't exactly big on compliments.
Manik chuckles, taking her hand and go out. He opens the door for her like a gentleman, cause he wanted the night to be perfect for her.

Space academy
They reached the college. The venue, the decorations were beautiful, it was a perfect setting, alluring the students into a new year of college. The students filling the area, dancing and chattering. It was the time u let yourself go and enjoy before the coming hard working years of college.
Nandini being the curious one as always was looking at everything keenly, nothing ever escaped her eyes, she just tried not to dwell much on it though.
Every eye turned towards them when they entered, afteall the most popular boy had come his his beautiful date. Manik's grip in her waist tightened seeing every boy watching nandini with the expression of awe. Afterall she looked like an angel descending from heaven. Manik was no less he looked dashing catching the eye of every girl.
They went towards their friends, the girls complementing each other.
Manik saw aryaman staring at nandini who was standing beside Ruhi. And he wanted nothing more to claw his eyes out at that moment. He was afraid of losing her, that someone would come and steal her away.
The announcer welcomed everyone to the class of 2018,wishing them luck on their new journey.
Adi was looking at preeti and this was actually noticed by many of them. Ruhi on seeing this asked a boy for a dance ,hoping to get Adi's attention, as on the other hand aryaman went ahead taking her place to talk to nandini.
M : u were the one telling me, I look like a creep when u yourself are no better.
Ad : I am admiring
M : be less obvious then, cause everyone can see.
Ad : she is my date
M : are u drunk?
Ad : why
M : no u are basically accepting your feelings
Ad : I don't know about that, cause unlike you I have dated a few girls but this time it feels different
M : then it's worth working on
Adi nods and goes towards preeti. Nandini and aryaman are still talking, laughing together a sight manik hates,he goes towards them.
M : would you like to dance?
N : my pleasure
Nandini gave her hand in Manik's while he looked into aryaman's eyes as if proving a point.

Manik pulls her towards himself, a very little space left between them. Her hands on his neck, moving with the melody of the song. Their eyes connected as if talking on their own. Words are not always required, a song in the background and presence of the right person can make u feel as if that is all that matters.wishing for the time to stop.

The music ended but they were still busy into each other, clapping of people around them making them realize where they actually were.
M : wanna go out
N : now
M : we danced, we talked, I don't think there is more left to this party, unless u wanna get drunk or something. Afteall I promised you a beautiful evening

N : ok let's go, but others

And manik was right everyone was busy in dancing, adi with preeti, even aryaman was giving company to Ruhi.
Nandini nods and Manik takes her hand in his walking out towards there car.

The ride was silent and nandini was all the time looking out of the window.
Manik stopped the car and she realized that they were at the lake the one near the tree house .
Both if them get down and walk towards it.
