New Ninjago City was trashed, Hover-cars had been flipped over, buildings damaged, technology had been piled up in huge piles. But the streets were empty.
(Y/N) was on high alert something was off.
"Are we too late?" Zane asked taking a step forward (Y/N) held out her arm to stop Zane, Echo and Jay from taking any steps further they looked at her about to question (Y/N) why.
But (Y/N) held her hand up to her lips telling them to be silent then pointed out the tripwire to them.
Jay went to say something by Zane silenced him (Y/N) led them another way to a nearby access cover and pulled it out of its place.
Nodding for the boys to climb down once they were in (Y/N) climbed into the access way and pulled the cover back into place.
Zane pulled off his head a shook it till it lit up the tunnel. "The Serpentine. Never thought I'd see them, again." Jay said as they walked along the grimy tunnel.
"Don't cause a scene and be nice to them." (Y/N) warned him. "I'll be good." Jay promised crossing his heart.
The four of them walked up to the opening to the tomb (Y/N) pounded a knock on the large stone door.
"Daddy?" A high pitched voice asked from the others side of the stone door.
"No, it's just me Jr." (Y/N) called through the door. "Aunty (Y/N)!" The high pitched voice screamed in delight the stone door opened a little and out came a small Hypnobrai.
He looked like Skales, but he had legs and wore a blue jacket with white jeans.
Another Serpentine, a pink one, appeared behind him, wearing a small necklace. She grabbed the young Hypnobrai by the shoulder. "Stay inssside, Skales Jr."
"Hi, Selma." (Y/N) said waving hello. "Oh itsss just you again, (Y/N). Do you have any news?" The pink Serpentine said with a sigh of relief.
"Sorry, Selma I-Rather we." (Y/N) said pointing out Zane and Jay to Selma. "Need some help with do you know anything about the Overlord and his quest for golden power?" (Y/N) questioned.
"The Golden Master?" Skales Jr asked hugging his mum. "Iss he going to hurt uss?"
"That iss only a sstory, ssson." Selma responded by patting her son on the back.
"Golden Master?" Zane asked. "Is this about Lloyd?"
"It iss jussst an old sscary ssstory but if you'd like to hear about the cursse of the Golden Master you'll have to ask Acidicus he loves to tell hatchings stories he'd know all about it." Selma said leading them all inside the large stone doors.
As they all walked down the decorative path of stepping stones. Jay and Zane took in all their surroundings.
The place actually seemed pretty cozy. The trees were lit with warm, yellow lights and above them, some were lit up on the ceiling of the tomb.
They watched as some Hypnobrai talk to Constrictai and some Fangpyre conversing with Venomari. They seemed to have put aside their issues and become one big harmonious tribe.
"You're not thugss," a Hypnobrai soldier spoke to two Constrictai soldiers. "You give hugss."
He then hugged himself to demonstrate for them what a hug was. We then passed Fangtom and a Venomari solder
"No, try again. It will be our pleasure!" The Venomari soldier said to Fangtom.
"It will be-" said one of Fangtom's heads. "Our...pleasure." the other one finished. The Venomari soldier slapped himself in the face. It mustn't have been going well.
"So the Serpentine really have changed." Jay said looking around.
"I can say from first-hand experience that they have. Echo and I have even been trying social skills classes like you just saw some Serpentine doing." (Y/N) told Jay and Echo nodded.
"I was going to say you've improved your social skills quite a bit since we had last seen one and other be hadn't found the right time to say it." Zane pointed out.
"Um,... Thank you?" (Y/N) said and looked to Selma for advice Selma only gave her a small smile.
"Asss you can ssee," Selma said. "We only want whatsss besst for the next generation."
Jay and Zane smiled before she led them to a small fire. "Have a seat," Selma continued. "He'll be along any moment."
Echo sat next Zane and (Y/N) next to Jay. Echo and Zane looked really happy to be there with each other.
"Hello, Hatchlings," a raspy, deep voice spoke and out stepped Acidicus. "And camouflaged land-dwellers; do you seek to learn about the curse of the Golden Master?"
"Tell me! Tell me-e!" Jay shouted excitedly raising his hand. While (Y/N) smiled at his antics from beside him.
Acidicus sat down and they were joined by little Serpentine who were also looking forward to story time around the fire.
"Then, everyone come closer." Acidicus said before spitting his venom into the fire.
The little Serpentine gasped in excitement. As everyone began to see images in the fire of a young-looking figure, holding a large, golden sword. There was a star on his chest, and a belt on his waist. His eyes glowed a golden colour.
"When the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, deep in the ground, he created the Serpentine," Acidicus said and a Serpentine rose up next to the man. The image then changed to a village, a whole row of Serpentine underneath the village.
"Since the first dawn, our elders knew of the curse of the Golden Master, when he who had the powers equal to the First Spinjitzu Master would rise and would usher in the last of the sitting silence."
A man with red eyes and a golden chest of armour rose behind the village. He seemed to wear a helmet of some sort, but no one recognized it.
"With no equal adversary," Acidicus continued on. "His power will go unmatched, his destructive ruin will change the fate of the world, and he will not stop, until every man, woman, and Serpentine are enslaved under his control."
Lightning struck from the man's hands, and onto the village. The Serpentine figures scattered, and the houses faded. Then, he stopped, and the image faded from the fire.
"Is he referring to Lloyd?" Zane asked. (Y/N) shrugged "I don't think so." Jay was busy dealing with a young Serpentine that had decided to start pulling on his face and hair.
The fire then changed colours, from a bright, orange-yellow to turquoise, before Acidicus continued.
"The Serpentine tried to warn the land-dwellers, but they wouldn't listen," he said, as the image of a row of Serpentine talking to men with pitchforks appeared in the flames.
"They thought we were the enemy, though we were only trying to prevent the prophecy of the Golden Master's terrible reign."
The flames changed colours again, from turquoise to violet.
"After the Devourer failed to scare the unbelievers below ground," Acidicus explained, as the flames now turned a dark pink shade.
"We began to retreat beneath the soil, promising never to return," The Serpentine in the image moved underground.
"But in the end, we were betrayed and the sons of the First Spinjitzu Master." The Serpentine in the image were suddenly hypnotised by two men with flutes that had appeared.
"They separated us from our friends and loved one in separate tombs." The Serpentine in the image were divided into separate tombs and a wall appeared behind them, as if blocking them from returning to the city.
The flames then changed from yellow to red, and finally, returned to their normal colour. The last image was of a man with the red eyes, the Golden Master.
"But now we have been reunited and we have Scales Jr and the two surface dwellers Echo and (Y/N) to thank for that." Acidicus said with a happy smile and the little Serpentine cleared some even hugged (Y/N) and Echo.
Jay was being pounced upon by curious and hyped up little Serpentine.
"We'll That was funny wasn't it little one." (Y/N) said picking up a little Constrictai that was climbing Jay and tickling his stomach causing him to giggle. "Song?" The little Constrictai asked with big puppy eyes.
"I don't know little one everyone's mummies and daddies may not like it if we started making all that noise." (Y/N) said giving him another song.
"Yes perform a song I'm sure the others we be happy to provide assistance." Acidicus said with a huge smile.
"Alright if everyone wants to let's start the show." (Y/N) said with a shrug.
___Timeskip____
Zane and Jay were gathered along with some Serpentine in front of a large makeshift stage. (Y/N) already had her guitar out and Echo was on the drums waving to Zane who was waving back to his little brother.
Chokun, Lasha, Snappa and Mezmo who were all dressed up to perform joined them on stage and began to play.

The crowd burst into applause the Treble Makers were about to start another song but were interrupted by the screams of Skales just outside the stone doors.
"No!" Skales could be heard protested, "This is harasssment! I've done nothing wrong!"
"Daddy?" Skales Jr shouted out going for the door. (Y/N) went after him with the rest of the Treble Makers, Zane, Jay and Selma.
"Search his bag!" Cole ordered and Kai began going through the bag in Skales cart.
"He's hiding!..." Kai trailed off, going through the bag. His eyes widened in astonishment. "Groceries ... and the latest issue of Ninjago Times." Kai announced holding up the newspaper he found. He then looked to Skales with his head tilted.
"What can I sssssay? I'm a sssucker for the crosssword. Sorry! You've got the wrong sssnake!" Skales hissed flipping the cover on his bag back over.
"Skales, you okay?" (Y/N) demanded charging out with the Treble Makers, Zane and Jay ready to fight what was attacking Skales
"Stay inssside, Skales Jr " Selma demanded dragging her boy back inside where it was safe.
"Skales Jr.?" Kai asked eyes wide as he looked to Skales. "You have a son?"
Skales slithered to the tombs opening and the safety of the crowd. "What are you three doing here. I thought we agreed to stay out of each other's way." (Y/N) demanded.
"What are you doing with Serpentine! What are you hiding?!" " Kai shoot back with a smug look.
"Idiot, they're the rest of the band you know the Treble Makers." (Y/N) hissed back at him. "And you attacking their family for no reason."
"No reason. We found a white scale at the left at the crime scene that the hard drive was stolen from." Cole interjected hold up the proof.
"That could have been planted you don't know." Jay said defending the Serpentine.
"You're going to defend them?" Nya demanded stamping her foot. "Why not I've been here all day with them and not once have they done anything bad." Jay countered angerly at Nya.
"Except steal the hard drive!" Kai accused raising his light at them the Serpentine members of Treble Maker hissed at him.
"That is a baseless accusation." Zane said.
"Well if none of them took the hard drive, who else could it be?" Nya demanded in a madder of fact way.
"We're under attack!" an abrupt voice screamed. "Protect the young!"
Everyone's eyes widened, as they looked around for attackers only to see screaming Serpentine, who slithered or ran for cover, taking children with them.
Just down the tunnel to the entrance of the tomb. They all saw something head their way.
"Nindroids!" Cole yelled. Jay groaned. "These toasters never know when to quit!"
"Echo get inside and protect the Serpentine! we'll stay out and fight." (Y/N) ordered Echo saluted and went inside the tomb closing the door behind him.
"What you mean us?" Kai teased. "Do whatever you want but if you want to get at the Serpentine you're going to have to go through me to do it." (Y/N) hissed holding up her bladed guitar axe ready for battle.
The Nindroids were being led by General Cryptor and P.I.X.A.L wielding swords.
"So much for the fearless Serpentine!" General Cryptor taunted before laughing menacingly only to be hit in the face with a rock causing him to stumble.
General Cryptor cracked his neck, and (Y/N) smirked and the fight was on.
Cole tackling a Nindroid only to be thrown back by him as he laughed. The Nindroid went for Cole, grabbing his feet and throwing him at Kai knocking him down by the force of the black ninja being tossed at his back.
(Y/N) was bashing away with her axe while Zane froze the Nindroid he was battling in place. While Nya was fighting P.I.X.A.L with her metal fans.
Jay looked to a Nindroid with it's back to him, Jay pulled at a large tube attached to the back off. Immediately the Nindroid dropped to the ground.
"They're powered by some sort of eel thing on their backs!" Jay shouted out to everyone.
"Ninja-go!" The boys yelled using their Spinjitzu to pass through the rows of Nindroids detaching the tubes on their backs, as they dropped like dominoes.
They cheered but a Nindroid grabbed Zane's foot. This one had purple eyes, instead of the red ones.
"Foolish Nindroid!" It taunted, in a gasping voice. "You are helping the wrong side!" It scolded.
"The Overlord!" Zane exclaimed. "You'll never succeed! Not if we have anything to say about it!"
"But, I already have!" the Overlord breathed out, through the robot body, before laughing evilly. "You've unknowingly led me straight to the Golden Ninja, and this...was merely a diversion to keep you busy."
(Y/N) stuck the Nindroid in the back of the head, detach it's tube and studying the creature inside.
"It's not an eel. It looks more like a snake." (Y/N) said studying the creature. Echo and Skales came out of the tomb Echo went and hugged his brother while Skales slivered up to (Y/N).
"That would be an Electrocobri," Skales said looking at what (Y/N) was studying.
"And there's only one Serpentine who's had a history of being ssso fond of using Electrocobri. Pythor."
