I awoke to a loud bang.
"What the-?"
"Sorry!"
I figured it was time to get up anyway. School was starting soon, so there was no point in trying to go back to sleep.
I stood up, changed into my uniform, slid my beanie on, grabbed my already prepared book bag, and went out.
"What's with all the commotion?"
"I knocked something down and it became like the domino effect."
"Well I'm going to head out early."
"You don't have to."
"I'll be fine, I promise." I left before she could stop me.
I walked out the dorms and headed towards the school.
I seen so many people I didn't recognize, and the fact that I am actually older than the ones in their third year makes me feel ashamed of myself.
I walked in and started to head to my first class, avoided everyone I could, which was difficult. Even though it's the first day, there were still people fighting every corner you turned.
What kind of school did my parents send me to!?
"Hey!" I heard someone from behind me. "New kid!"
I turned around and seen a girl with long purple hair walking towards me.
"I heard you're powerful, you planning on challenging me?"
She did not look intimidating at all. "Nope."
"Why not?" She was taken back, confused.
I shrugged. "Don't wanna." I tried to continue walking, but she quickly grabbed my shoulder and whipped me around.
"Excuse me?" She looked mad. "What if I challenge you?"
"Nah~" I said in a smartass tone.
"So you weaker than what I heard?"
"No, what you heard was true, I'm just not into fighting."
"Don't care." She pushed me up against the lockers, and activated her ability.
"Wow, you guys are provoked so easily."
"And why are you going to do about it?"
I set my hand on her arm, and froze it in place, and moved out of the way.
I can only use anything relating to time, but I can still freeze people in place, I can enable only certain parts of them to resume moving while others are frozen, I could rewind injuries, and freeze all time and move insanely fast.
"Not so tough are you now, huh?"
She glared at me and used her other hand and attempted to throw a punch at me. I quickly dodged, grabbed her hand, and froze that in place.
"I'm too fast for you. But I'm not fighting either." I threw up the peace sign, deactivated my ability, and walked away.
I could feel the anger in her grow to an intense amount, but I ignored it and headed to class.
I sat down and felt all eyes on me. Why do I have to do the things I do? If I never got expelled, I wouldn't be here...
"Hey, have you heard? That school, um.. Wellston Private," the random girl paused. "It was completely destroyed by some ultimately powerful student!"
"Wow, I have heard many rumors that there was a teenager who is the most powerful person in the world."
"Who could they be, though?"
"I heard they must like somewhere in the Wellston-Kinland area."
"Know anyone powerful enough to do so?"
"Kinland's Queen is strong, maybe her?"
"No, did you hear?" Someone came running in, joining the conversation the others were having. "Kinland's got a new Queen!"
"How? I heard the old one was unbeatable!"
"Something happened though."
"Who's the new one?"
"Don't know her name, but I seen her!" The guy was so over excited. "She has pink and yellow hair. It seems her hair is short, but she wears extensions."
Seraphina! She must be holding my place until they find a way to get me back.. according to Isen.
"Is she powerful?"
"Never seen her in action, but I heard she's one from Wellston."
"So she must be."
"We could never beat her though."
I could never go against her, that's why I'm not taking the Queen place, because then at some point someone will try to challenge them, and I can't fight my friends.
"We should challenge them though!"
"Take the new kid! See what she has to offer." I seen them turn toward me.
"Me?" I pointed to myself, confused.
They nodded. "Let's do it tomorrow, after school." They smirked.
"Yeah, but take the roster as well in case she really isn't all that."
"But, why take me? I don't know you guys, how can I trust you?"
"You should, otherwise coming here was a bad decision."
"My parents forced me at this school! I didn't want to come to this one, but they insisted." I blurted. Shit, that will surely make them hate me.. oh well, I can overpower them either way, but I need a plan for tomorrow!
"Well well well, someone isn't too pleased to coming to a top-tier school."
"Top-tier my ass." I'm not going to stand them, I can't tolerate this. "There aren't many high-tiers here, even though you only pay attention to ability levels, and that might be the only reason I got in! And also the fact you're ranked 7th in Turf wars says nothing about your 'prestigious' school."
"Wow, someone's got attitude."
"Well maybe I wouldn't if the Queen decided to randomly challenge me when its supposed to be the other way around. You guys are always looking for fights to start too!"
They started walking towards me.
"Someone's got a big mouth."
"Let's fix that."
They attempted to throw a punch at me, but all of them missed.
"You can't touch me." I then stood up, without them noticing, and kicked them all down so quickly they literally didn't see it coming.
"How-?"
"Now, don't fuck around with me, and you won't get your asses whipped."
They stared in horror and went back to their seats. I decided to just skip class and head to the roof, like I normally did before.
Once I got there, I seen the same purple haired girl standing up there, as if she knew I was coming.
"News travels fast here." She snarked. "You are going to Turf wars tomorrow, and you will be first to fight their new Queen."
