o break the veil of sleep with a gentle silky touch stroking your cheek was a wonderful feeling. Your skin tingled as the feather touch trailed down your jaw, then softly teasing your lips and a smile reached your sleepy face.
You noticed the blanket was gone as you didn't recognise the weight hovering your body. It was light, soft and... wait moving ?
You fluttered your eyes open, spotting a red blurry silhouette towering you, the glimpse of the silver ranges caught your eyes and realisation hit you.
It was the Cloak which was waking you up with his « own kisses ». You stirred a bit, waking up your tired limbs and the relic took the opportunity to tease your neck. You chuckled softly.
« Good morning, Lev. » you greeted, smiling warmly at the relic.
You opened your arms and it immediately rushed closer to you, snuggling in your embrace and hugging you with love.
The collar snuggled into the crook of your neck, listening to your breathing and your slight erratic heartbeat. You could feel a small redness covering your cheeks as you tangled your fingers into the material.
You stroked the back of the cloak, enjoying the softness of the material and you felt the relic shivered under your touch.
It was unbelievable how the relic behaves with you, it was so human and very cuddly.
The cuddly session soon came to an end when Stephen burst into the room, shouting :
« Y/N ! You have to come tot he librabry, I have discovered the ultimate mystery ! »
You rolled your eyes at Stephen's demeanour. He was so keen when something new popped out of books or else that a spark glowed in his steely eyes.
You smiled at him and raised up on your elbows, your weight diving in the mattress while the cloak slowly tightened its grip around you, not letting go.
« Hello Stephen, care to share your mysterious secret ? »
He raised an eyebrow at you as he noticed his Cloak in your arms, truly peaceful and as overexcited as he was, he grabbed your hand and pushed you out of the bed. Before you had the chance to say something. You landed roughly on his chest while his hands grabbed your waist to steady you. The Cloak still in between the Sorcerer Supreme and you.
« Fine, I'm coming. Calm down a second, will you ? Your discovery isn't going to disappear ! »
Stephen chuckled at your statement :
« Never underestimate the impossible, dear. »
He dragged you down the halls and corridors until he reached the library under Wong's acute eyes and came to a halt, looking at the door with a huge smile plastered on his face.
« Are you going to tell me what is going on, Stephen? I'm not a mind reader you know. »
« Hidden in plain sight » he muttered while glancing at you with a raised eyebrow.
« Stephen, for the thousand times you are not Sherlock Holmes! Stop quoting him ! » you announced darkly.
He shrugged his shoulders and added to tease you :
« You wish. »
You rolled your eyes lightly punched his shoulder.
« Now why are we here? Is there a secret door or an invisible portal? »
He smirked at you while the Cloak swift around and landed on your shoulder to calm you down. It always knew how to calm your nerves and his comforting gesture soon soothed you.
« Be a secret door » he mumbled before pushing on the wall and revealing a secret door.
You shook your head at Stephen's childish behaviour and stepped in front of him to see the secret passage.
Gloomy, spider's web covering the entrance, you both walked throughout the long tunnel until you reached a big room with thousands of book spells.
« A second library, the hidden library » you realised as you looked around you mesmerised by the amount of knowledge hidden in the dark corner of the Sanctum's library.
As you let your fingers brushed against the covers, embracing the new discovery in a more touchy way, you didn't notice Stephen grabbed the book held in the centre of the room and opened it. Neither his lips moving as swift whispers made its way out of his mouth like a well of magic flowing past his lips.
Too dove in this new world, you didn't see the danger coming out from your friend until out of sudden the Cloak shielded you, taking the blast at your place as a panicked warning was heard from Stephen.
A bright light blinded you, the soft touch of the Cloak disappearing suddenly and you immediately tried to reach it raising your arm up while you could see one of its hem trying to reach your fingers in one last goodbye, like two hands trying to touch each other one last time.
« Lev ! » you shouted, scared for the relic safety.
The energy concentrated in the room intensifies around the bright aura, the spell coming to an end when the explosion sent you flying away through the bookshelves. You didn't have time to react and landed roughly against the wooden shelves, your back arching at the sudden pain.
« The Cloak protected me » you whispered as the light faded, letting place to flying dust.
Stephen rushed to your side, apologising profusely and asking where the cloak was.
« Where is Lev ? Wasn't it with you ? » he asked, while looking around him.
You struggled to find your words, the harsh reality hitting you like a brick.
« Lev took the spell at my place,... then there was this bright light and I couldn't feel Lev anymore. It was ripped from me before I got the chance to comprehend what was going on. What did you do, Stephen? »
Stephen locked eyes with you, confusion written all over his face.
« I...I don't know. »
Anger blossomed in your heart.
« Couldn't you for once just not think before acting! Book spells, Stephen ! You know how dangerous they can be! Didn't you learn from the Eye of Agamotto 's experience ?! »
Stephen was defenselessly awestruck by your outburst. But you hadn't finished. You had lost a friend, a very dear friend and a piece of your heart.
« Your mistake cost the Cloak's life ! »
As a dread silence lingered at your statement, someone cleared his throat. You spun around, activating your blazing shields while Stephen got up and got into a defensive position.
« Who are you ?! » you asked angrily, pain clouding your mind.
« Y/N, it's me » the man pleaded.
You frowned, confused by the stranger's statement until he stepped out of the shadows. Dressed in crimson shorts with two silver blades on its waistband, he was shirtless and seemed to have trouble walking. His muscles tensed as he hesitantly took a step forward. He had dark brown hair with bright green eyes and the way he looked at you was oddly familiar. He made his way towards the two of you, muttering :
« I can't believe this is happening. Y/N this is wonderful. I can tell you how much I love you. »
You were even more confused at his words while Stephen lowed down his shields and asked slowly :
« Cloak ? »
Your eyes widened as you turned your head so fast, it could have had a whiplash until it turned to the stranger when he answered :
« Master Strange », lightly bowing his head to the Sorcerer Supreme.
Your heart was beating so fast, you could hear it galloping in your chest, your breathing suddenly got frantic as you realised your silky friend was now a very well built man ( come on he has six-pack abs!) and you deactivated your magic.
« Lev ? Is that you ? » you asked carefully while taking a step closer.
Emerald eyes locked with yours and your breath got caught in your breath when yous aw the spark of true love glowing in his breathtaking eyes. A genuine smile enlightened his lips and next thing you knew he had closed the gap between the two of you, levitating to where you were standing and connected his lips with yours for a sweet tender kiss.
At first, you didn't react but something in the way his lips moulded yours perfectly made you relax and you softly kissed him back while Stephen tried to discreetly leave the room. Unfortunately, the kiss was cut short as the dear sorcerer lost his balance in all this mess and tried to catch himself with a bookshelf which actually didn't support his weight and crumbled under the pressure, resulting in a tangible noisy mess.
« Don't mind me ! I'll be in the other library ! » he announced, dusting off his clothes.
You chuckled at the situation until gentle thumbs stroked your cheeks, his hands cupping your face to kiss you again.
« Lev » you stated when you broke up the kiss for air, panting.
« Yes, Y/N » the man said while playing with your hair.
The cloak was perhaps in a human form but it still liked to be touchy. Was it the situation or just the kind of person he was ? You didn't know.
« What happened. How did you change from the Cloak to this ? » you asked, getting lost in his natural green eyes.
He took a deep breath, one of his hand interlocking with yours. He brought it to his lips and kissed your knuckles.
« The spell the Sorcerer Supreme used was, in fact, a metamorphosis spell for relics. That is to say, it gives the ability to a relic to take a human form as long as he wants, whenever he wants. Which also mean, I can be with you now, my love. »
You nodded your head.
« It does make sense. »
Until something clicked in your mind.
« Wait, are you saying Stephen did this on purpose ?! »
Lev shook his head and brought you closer to him.
« No, I don't think so. This kind of books is written in Latin. »
You frowned.
« He 's a doctor, of course, he knows Latin. Have you seen the name of medicines or all the ingredient they have to use? »
Lev chuckled lightly and god what a lovely sound it was! You admired his elfin features and noticed how close you were to each other, not that you did mind. You felt safe, secure in his arms.
« Well, we can never know with him, but I'm glad he read that spell. » Lev confessed, shyly looking in your eyes, a blush reddening his cheeks.
You stood on your tiptoes, wrapping your arms around him and said :
« I'm glad he did too. »
Soon your mouth was shut with a pair of lips which did not leave yours for a while.

" Are you telling me Stephen you changed your relic into a human? That is not possible. " Wong groaned at Stephen.
Stephen smirked darkly at the Asian magician.
" Not here yes, but definitely in the hidden library."
Wong slowly very slowly spun around and faced Stephen who gulped at Wong's face.
" What hidden library?"
Stephen just pointed at the path you had both taken and Wong followed Stephen's direction.
" You searched into my private library!?"
Stephen facepalmed and quickly opened a portal to escape Wong's wrath.
