Maya's Pov
This is not how this was suppose to go. I'm not mad or anything. I find it pretty cool that I now have a few more abilities, obviously not thinking about the part where I almost died.
I don't blame Josh. Not one single part of all this is his fault. Alphas carry lycanthropy in their bodies. Josh didn't mean to make this happen. Anyways he was suppose to imprint and mate with a werewolf not a human.
Well now I'm an kind off a human. I would say half half.
I keep stroking Josh's hair, letting him enjoy his sleep knowing I'm alive and well. I didn't really want to fall asleep, after being out for the past few days and knowing I could've not woken up, it made sleeping a tad harder than I expected.
Right now what I really want to do is just go outside and have a pic nic. I want to see the sun. Off course it's the start of January and there is still snow outside.
"Baby"
I hum and grip his hair tighter.
"How are you feeling?"
I smile at the fact he doesn't need to be in his wolf form to talk to me now. I also know he enjoys not actually using his mouth to talk to me now. Granted this was much easier and required a lot less effort.
"I'm good" I reply deciding to actually use my voice. I still find it a tad confusing and weird, knowing all the things I can do. Mr. Feeny suggested that I take a day off to learn what I can do, plus he wanted to make sure he knew all about my new possibilities. Hm I might do that today.
"Are you hungry?" He questions.
I nod but realise he still has his eyes closed. "Yeah" I reply making his eyes flutter open and reveal his sparkling dark blue eyes.
"Do you want to get breakfast?" He asks pulling me closer before pecking my cheek.
I smile at his raspy morning voice. Saying it was sexy would be an understatement.
"That would be nice" I admit smiling.
"We're going to have to take you to the small dinning room" I furrow my eyebrows and he sighs.
"The pack is worried about you, they will want to know how you are" he explains, "I don't think you want to deal with them now" he adds.
"Maybe after a breakfast and a shower" he nods and we both climb out of bed.
We quitely walk to the small dinning and right now I'm thankful we didn't run into anyone. We enter the room and two plates are already settled on the table.
We both sit down and I immediately dig in. I ate last night but I was still hungry.
"Hungry I see" I look up and see Asena smiling down at me. I take a sip of the orange juice which was in front of me and nod.
"Very" I breathe out taking another bite of my eggs. She chuckles and takes a seat in front of us.
"How are you feeling?" She asks making me shrug "Fine I guess" she smiles "That's good" I nod.
"The pack and your father are extremely worried about you" she admits making my eyes widen. My dad. Shit.
"My dad?" I ask.
"Sophia told your dad you got marked and when she explained what it was, he wasn't exactly thrilled, especially when he found out you were going to be passed out for a few days" she explains.
"He doesn't know I almost" I trail off feeling Josh stiffen by my side.
She gently shakes her head, "We specifically told her not to say anything until something happened" I nod. That was a very smart idea.
"Although the pack is very curious about you" she adds making me smile. It always felt nice to know you have a big family who cared about you.
"I'll take a shower and I can go see them afterwards" she nods and stands up.
"Very well, enjoy your breakfast my dear" she says making me smile "Thank you".
She waves me off "It's amazing to have you back" she adds before leaving Josh and I to finish our breakfast together.

Three hours later and I'm finally done addressing the pack. They really wanted to know if I was okay, and they we're curious on what happened.
After telling them everything, they each came up to me and congratulated me on my marking and wished me well for the future.
Now I'm supposed to see Mr. Feeny in the basement, the training room to be more exact. I'm going to go through a check up and he's going to teach me how to properly mind link with Josh.
Once my initiation is over I should be able to mind link everyone else from the pack, but for now it's only Josh. Mr. Feeny is also going to teach me how to seperate my emotions from Josh's and a few more things with my other abilities that I now have.
I was pretty excited to do all this, until Josh told me he had some work to do with his dad in the office. Staying away from Josh became something I now despised doing.
With a bunch of rogues wanting to kidnap me and attack the pack house, and to add my almost death, I wanted Josh 24/7.
"Can't you ask your dad if you can do it later, when I'm free, so I can stay with you" I ask for the millionth time before Josh leaves to meet his dad.
"Gorgeous, I already told you, it'll be quick, I'll be done before you know it" he assures me before pulling me in for a hug.
"I don't want to leave you as well" he whispers in my ear, gently stroking my hair as I cling to him, "but I'm just upstairs, nothing will happen" he kisses the top of my head and slowly pulls away.
"Go find out what you can do and brag to me about it later" he says making me chuckle.
"Okay" I breath out letting a soft smile.
"See you in a bit" he says before leaning down and pecking my lips.
I watch him walk up the stairs and once he's gone I turn my attention to Mr. Feeny.
"Is it normal to be this attached?" I question making him laugh qs I walk towards him.
"Very" he replies, not once looking away from the paper in his hands.
Luckily Josh was there when Mr. Feeny had to draw blood out of me and do the typical, weighing, height and other sort of measuring thing.
"Well" he breathe out "Everything seems perfect" he says looking down at me with a smile.
He sits in front of me and places the paper in the file lying on the table.
"Okay let's start with mind link"

"Well" I breathe out later that night. Josh and I were finally back together and I couldn't be more happy than I am right now.
"Mr. Feeny told me about werewolves with gifts" I start continuing to play with Josh's fingers.
"Yeah" he says making me nod, "He thought I would have one" I admit looking back up at Josh whose furrowing his eyebrows.
"Why?" He questions making me shrug.
"I don't know" I reply "he said he had a feeling" I add.
"Do you?" Josh asks.
"I don't think so, I mean after three hours with him we didn't find anything" I explain.
"Well you aren't going to know about all your capacities in one day" Josh says making me nod.
"Yeah" I sigh "yesterday I couldn't do this" I say elongating my finger nails.
"Wow" Josh says taking my hand in his. He looks at my hand and then back at me. I put my nails back and look at Josh.
Suddenly I feel regret and worry course through me. My face soften as I realise that's Josh's emotion.
I place my hand on his cheek and look at him lovingly.
"I love you" I say making a soft smile pull at his lips.
"I don't regret my decision to ask you to mark me, stop feeling like all of this is your fault. I'm fine Josh, it's fun having all these new abilities" I assure him.
"I love you too, get some sleep" he says making me sigh. No matter what I say he'll always blame himself.
