Last day of Manik's exam:
Manik's POV:
Finally... I was done with my exams... now I can go and meet my Nandu... how much I missed her in these 3 days... it was like 3 decades that she is away from me... I hate the principal or whoever it was who designed the timetable like this... idiot... moron... I didn't even talk to anyone after my exam but just rushed to the parking so that I can reach home asap and then to airport as I had flight to catch this afternoon. Finally ill be able to meet her after 3 loooonngggg days. As soon as the driver parked the car I opened the door and ran into the house directly to my room and brought all my bags down and asked Ramu bhaiya to put them in the car as it would save time.
"Mumma... make it fast... Ill get late for my flight" I started shouting taking a seat at the dining table.
"Haan haan im coming... stop shouting like a kid Manik.." she said in a strict tone and I made a bad face. She served me lunch and I ate it up in jet speed and I finally was all set to leave to my Nandu's house. I took blessing from Dadu Dj and kissed Mom's cheek and left to the airport. Dad wasn't home yet so I called him and informed that I was leaving and he teased saying I was sounding desperate to meet her..huhh... he toh stays with Mom all the time he will not miss her but my Nandu was not here from 3 days so I was missing her... who will not miss their love if she is away for 3 days..
Mangalore Airport
I came out of the airport and was searching for Nandu buy she was no where. I asked her to come to airport to receive me up but I guess she didn't come. I was both angry and sad that she wasn't here. Suddenly someone closed my eyes from behind and I was startled but a smile touched my lips when I recognised whose tiny hands were those. My baby was here, but I decided to tease her...hehehe
"Hey leave me... Who's this..?" I said in a stern tone and I knew she was pouting cutely
"Whoever you are just leave me, I have lots of other important works to take care of..." I said trying to push away her hands and the next moment she punched me hard
"Ouch.. you stupid panda... cant you behave..." I whisper yelled at her wrapping my hands around my stomach as it really hurts when this mini monster punches me like Mary Com.
"How could you do this to me... you monster... you knew it was me but still you decided to irritate me... you idiot... you ... you..." she was trying to find words to scold me and before should do that I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her close like really close and whispered in her ear
"You want me to kiss you infront of everyone hmm ?" and as expected her eyes widened to the maximum extent possible and the moment she processed my words she nodded her head in a 'No' I wanted to laugh really loudly but didn't as she would kill me with her punches.
"So behave... and stop hitting me in front of everyone ..!" I said in a naughty tone and the next moment she wrapped her hands around my neck and whispered in my ear
"That means I can hit you in our room ?" and I pulled her close and bit her earlobe
"You really want me to shut you up in my style don't you ?" and she shivered... good, she should know who was the boss.
"Bhai, Nandu control we are still in airport not in your bedroom..." I heard Mukti's voice and broke the hug immediately. That was the moment I saw that Rishab bhaiya was also standing there with a teasing smile on his face. God now he will not leave us. He is such a tease. I palmed my face.
"If you guys are done shall we leave Amma Preethi have already called me twice?" he said in a teasing tone and from the corner of my eyes I saw Nandini turning red and she was trying to hide behind me.
Before Rishab bhai could tease us further I took my bags and started walking towards the car followed by Nandini and I could hear Bhaiya and Mukti laughing... huhh..!
The ride to home was fun with Rishab Bhaiya's jokes on Bhabhi and her pregnancy. He was telling us all his tragic stories about how she was giving him tough time with her mood swings and weird cravings at the most unexpected times.
We reached home and I was greeted by Amma and Ams, I touched their feet and entered the house. I asked for Preeti Bhabhi and Amma informed that she was sleeping as she was feeling a little dizzy, so I decided not to disturb her. Her health was the topmost priority. As it was only 7 Amma asked me to freshen up and then come down. Nandu came with me to show me my room, yes I have a permanent room in their house now you all don't act innocent and ask me why I have a room here. Of course this is my in-laws house I will have my own room...
"Come down fast and wear something comfy... its hot here..." she said and left before I could her... how smart she has become over a period of time...
I just had a long shower as I was super tired and then changed into shorts and vest and went down.
Everyone was just sitting and chitchatting I too joined them. Appa came and asked me how I am and how did my exams go and I replied in positive. He went to freshen up and even Preethi Bhabhi came down and I was just talking to her asking her about her health and other things and Amma called us for dinner.
Trust me I am going to become a balloon by the time my holidays finish, that was the amount of food Amma and Ams made me eat during dinner and on the top of that every time I said I am full there was a emotional dialogue from Bhabhi
"Manik you don't love us anymore..." and then she will ask Amma to serve me a little more saying "Manik you don't love my baby..."
Goshhhh.... I was filled with food not only in my stomach but I guess my whole body is filled with food.
I was walking to and fro on the terrace when I heard some giggles and I turned to see two devils in human form laughing their guts out at my condition.
"Girls if you can't help me at least don't laugh at my condition yaar" I said in an irritated tone and they laughed more
"Manik you don't love us anymore..." the little devil mimicked Bhabhi's voice
"Manik you don't love my baby..." Mukti said and then giggled...how could my sister keep quite in such a situation.
"One more word and trust me ill lock you both in a room , tie you up and stuff you both with food" I didn't even know what I was blabbering and when I realised what I said I found both of them on the floor laughing their guts out.
'What do I do with these two devils' I sighed helplessly. I just needed some peaceful space. I did what I thought was best at that moment I picked up Nandini and threw her on my shoulders and walked to my room. She kept shouting to leave her but she didn't dare to raise her voice as we all knew that their parents and bhai-bhabhi will be asleep at this time. I made her stand on her feet once we entered the room and then I locked the door.
"You are impossible ?" she said gritting her teeth
"Tell me something knew" I said with a smirk and before she could come back with a smart reply I placed my lips on hers. She didn't respond first but eventually gave up as she can't resist me for long.
After few minutes we both were laying on bed with my girl all snuggled in my arms, her head on my chest and her arms wrapped around my waist. How much I missed her cuddles... Her sweet scent her silky hair... All in all I missed everything.
After a long silence, she called me
"Manik"
"Hmm"
"When will mom and dad come along with our friends ?"
"Tomorrow night they will land here and then they will sneak into the out house and exactly at 12 we will bring them here... everything is set... you just have to make sure that Mukku is asleep by 10 so that we get time for decorating the house and bake the cake for her..."
"Hmm" what ? bas hmm ? and then I got up a little to look at her face but she was almost asleep... aww my baby
"Sleep my princess... I love you" I said kissing her hair and she moved more close to me hugging me tightly
"I love you too Motu" she mumbled sleepily ... arghh.. this girl...
Nandu ke Aaiyappa.. please.. please have some mercy on me ... I said and closed my eyes to rest.
