(Y/N) P.O.V
"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted.
"You heard me." I harshly said. "You can't just leave when you JUST GOT HERE." Percy said. "True, plus this is the nearest safe place for you, and why leave when you're already in it?" Annabeth said.
I squint. A moment of silence passes by. I then grabbed my backpack and swung it around my shoulder. "Touché Annabeth....touché...." I finally said. Annabeth only smirked in triumph.
"So....in other words you're staying?" Jason asked. "No shit, shit for brains." I said coldly. He yelled a 'hey' and almost got up but his girlfriend made him sit back down. I only rolled my eyes.
"Alright! This has turned completely awkward....I'll show you around!" Piper chirped up with a cheeky grin. "Nah, the old centaur already showed me around." I said. Piper looked down in defeat, obviously sad. "Um- his names Chiron" Grover pointed out. I only rolled my eyes again. "Where are you going anyways?" Leo asked calmly. I stayed still. "None of your business."
I actually don't no WHERE I'm going...
I need to get away from just all of this.
He looked at me with sadden eyes. "Why are you so rude (Y/N)?" Grover said. Annabeth raised an eyebrow.
"I'm normally like this, deal with it." I calmly said. "Well then your parents must need more parenting skills then." Jason murmured.
I froze. I only looked down at this point.
My parents hmm?
They seem to have thought that I was sad because all of them were yelling at Jason at this point.
"JASON!!" Piper screeched. "Uncalled for dude!" Leo shouted back. "Well there's no respect here! Why should I give back respect?!?" Jason shouted back. "No you're right." I said. The three turned back to me.
The tension of everyone's eyes felt very uncomfortable.
"About the parenting thing or-" Annabeth said.
"About the respect part I mean." I cut her off immediately. I sighed and looked straight in Jason's eyes. I walked over and held out my hand. "If respect means so much to you then let's start over- I'm (Y/N) (L/N), Newest Camper by far and Daughter of what's-their-name." Percy snickered as Grover and Leo laughed.
"Interesting..." Annabeth said while Piper just chuckled.
Jason just looked awestruck- and nervously shook my hand. I gave a soft smile and sat down. "What's up then?"

After what it felt like an hr talking in the Grand Hall, we all left and did whatever we wanted to do. I decided to come with the trio (Jason, Piper and Leo) to the campfire site.
And
I gotta admit-
The trio aren't bad. Jason's pretty loud and dumb while his girlfriend is like the opposite.
(They told me they were dating a few minutes ago.... and I figured)
And Leo is really LOUD and try's to be hilarious. We all -surprisingly- became friends that day.
We sat down and just talked all day. Which I didn't mind because I rarely spoke even though they tried to make it feel like I was apart of their team. Soon, Percy and his friends joined in and talked with everyone. I heard many laughs and saw lots of smiles.
I was busy sharpening my knife when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a pair of brown eyes glimmering with joy- or so it seemed. "Hey Chuckles." I said in a bored tone. He pouted and sat next to me. "That's not my nickname!! It's either Leo or Bad boy Supreme." He said in a prideful tone. I rolled my eyes. "You're Chuckles to me. Enough said."
He looked up at the night sky and asked "Why did you give me that name?"
"Because you do that a lot." He chuckled. "Do what?" I pointed at his lips. "That." I said in an annoyed tone.
He raised an eyebrow. "Weird that you pointed at my lips and not anywhere else...." I scoffed. "Don't get any ideas Chuckles, I don't need any more perverts around me." I said in a monotone voice. And it's true. A few hours here and I already have guys looking at me with perverted smirks. And I'm pretty sure Chuckles knew that too.
He only blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Do you just wanna- walk around or something?" he mumbled. I shrugged my shoulders and nodded yes. We got up and left the campsite. Little did I know that someone was watching us the entire time.
Leo's P.O.V
Holy gods why am I so nervous around her??
I try and held back my quivering tone and said "So.....how are you doing?" "Fine I guess" she calmly says. "Oh.... well so am I!" I spoke in a cheerful manner.
We walked around the camp and talk at the same time. Well, it wasn't really a conversation if you're the only one talking the most. She just looked bored all the time. We ended up near the beach even. I smiled and jogged all the way to the shore. I turn around to see (Y/N) uninterested.
"Well aren't you going to come? The waves are nice!" I yelled. She looked at me then the waves then back at me. I grinned widely when she decided to sit right next to me. "......I'm not used to this....place" she said calmly. I raised an eyebrow. Curiosity intensifying inside me. "Why not?" I asked.
She didn't say anything. She only just looked at the ocean. I sigh and laid down, staring at the stars. "The Stars sure are pretty, aren't they?" (Y/N) said.
"Well not as pretty as you...." I said out loud. She immediately turned around and looked at me, shocked.
Crap I was talking out loud!!!! RED ALERT RED ALERT!!!
I sat straight up, immediately blushing tomato red. "That's not what I meant!!" I said. "I mean.....um......I......" I looked down in embarrassment.
Silence overwhelmed us....
Out of nowhere I feel a pat on my head. I look up to see (Y/N) calmly ruffing up my hair softly with her hand. "You have sand in your hair" she said. I snickered for a few....then started to chuckle...then later on just laughing mad hard.
Tears swelling in my eyes. I turn around to see a cloudy (Y/N) looking confused. "I have no idea how you do it" I finally say. She raised an eyebrow. "Do what? I didn't really do anything."
(Y/N) P.O.V
"Do what? I didn't really do anything" I said. He stared at me for a few then turned around. "Nothing....never mind" he said.
I didn't really care so I shrugged it off. I decided to look up at the sky. billions and billions of stars twinkling under the night sky. "I gotta admit..." I said. "This is a great spot for night seeing." Leo dramatically gasped and said "Is (Y/N) showing GRATITUDE?!?!?! Holy mother of GODS!!!!" I only looked back at him with a cold glare. He ended his dramatic scene then and there. I sigh and looked back at the ocean from the beginning.
This place......it feels too familiar.....
-Flashback time-
"Mommy!!! Daddy!!! Look at what I found!!" You cheerfully said. Your dad was near so you ran over to him first. "Look daddy!! I found one!!!" You said again. He chuckled. "My little (N/N) what did you find?"
(N/N) = Nickname
"I found this!!" You opened your hands to show a baby r turtle, resting calmly on your palm. Your dad was shocked. "Daddy.... why isn't it moving?" You said in a sad tone.
He looked at you with sad eyes and hesitated of saying the truth. He then patted on the baby turtle and calmly said "He's just sleeping." You tilted your head in confusion. He picked you up and brought you to the shore. You weren't scared of the water, so you didn't flinch when he dropped you down. "Go on." He said while sitting down. "Set the turtle free." You looked at him confused. "But he's sleeping. How will he ever know his way home?" You asked. "He'll wake up." He said with a smile.
You did as you were told and let that baby sea turtle into the waves. It didn't take a while for that baby sea turtle to wake up. It started swimming back to the ocean.
Your dad sighed in relief and put you on his lap. "Can you do me a favor?" You nodded your head vigorously. "Everytime you come to the shore- I want you to promise me to bring that turtle back to its home." he said. "But how will I know there's going to be a turtle there?" You asked.
He hugged you tightly.
"There will always be one, I promise."

-Flashback ends-
Bored, I stand up to walk away- but just then...I saw a baby sea turtle lying on the shore. I slowly walked over to notice that is was the same turtle years ago..... Hearing Leo's calls of my name snapped me out of my trance.
"Hey wait up!!" He said. The turtle was lying there. Without hesitation, I lifted it up. At this point Leo was standing right next to me. He sighed at the sight of the turtle. "(Y/N)...it's dead, why are you holding it?" He said.
"My father used to take me and my mom to the beach. One day...when I was young....I found this same exact turtle lying there." I said. I walked up closer to the shore.
"He said to let it be free and swim back to the shore. Saying that it will swim back home." I placed the sea turtle gently on the ocean waters- which were now calmer than before.
"And it did."
Not even a minute came by when I saw the turtle shook itself up, and swam away. I saw Leo utterly amazed at what he just witnessed. I rolled my eyes. "I should be heading back to the Hermès cabin.... it's almost time to sleep anyways."
Leo smiled lightly.
"How did you do that (Y/N)?"
I stopped and turned around with a smug look on my face.
"Because I can Chuckles."
