Amadeo's POV
How dare she?? How the fuck she managed to glare and shout at me? Me? The fucking boss of the fucking Italian Mafia. She's teaching me manners? Looks like I have to teach her some.
She was still glaring at me. What the fuck ? That's it I had enough I need to show her what I'm capable of.
I advanced towards her towering over her that made her gulp. She kept stepping back and finally hit the wall. I placed beside her one hand on the wall.
"Listen there girl you are under my captivity and would obey my rules if you wish to stay alive. "
She opened her mouth to say something but I cut her off..
"And don't ever try to interrupt me while I'm talking otherwise you would have to face consequences. "
She rolled her eyes at me.
"So bossy." She snickered.
"Listen here Mr."
"Rossi" Daniel shouted from behind. I turned to glare at him but he was looking at me with an amused expression. I looked back at her.
"Right. Mr. Rossi. First of all I didn't wish to be your captive and who are you to threaten me.? I'm not afraid of you." She said raising her voice.
"Oh you're not huh? But mia cara you should be. You must understand that disobeying me would led to many dangers including the risk of you and your baby's life. Would you like that ?"
She gasped. Her eyes widened in fear. She clutched the baby more tightly.
"Okay now how about Ava Alex and I go to the pantry to have something I'm sure the little man is hungry." Said Daniel and tugged on Ava's arm.
She went with him but stopped midway. She returned to me and said....
"Do whatever you want to do with me but don't even think of harming Alex. I swear I'll ruin you if anything happens to him."
Her eyes were suddenly bloodshot red glistening with unshed tears. She had an amazing aura. The look on her eyes was no longer of fear . Instead they reflect a passionate mother willing to fight any battle to save the life of her child.
"Lei è solo una bambina, Amadeo. Non dovresti averla spaventata." (She is just a kid, Amadeo. You shouldn't have scared her.) Said Antonio.
"Sono il capo, Antonio. Lei deve temermi. Non è un grosso problema. Lo sarebbe stato se non l'avesse fatto."(I'm the boss, Antonio. She has to fear me. It's not a big deal. It would have been if she didn't.) I said sounding emotionless.
I went towards the bar and made myself a drink.
"Vuoi un drink?"(You want a drink?)
"No. Vado a controllarli."(No. I'll go check on them. ) he said and went away.
I drank the whisky and thought of Ava. Her temper irked me as well as made me feel proud. Women should be like her. Fiesty. Who knows what's their and what to claim. I smirked at my own thought.
Oh mio amore we're gonna have so much fun. Watch out for me.
