(a/n: exams are not over yet but my brain cells had became extinct. i wonder how i will survive the other four.....T_T)

"that.....h-how about letting go of me?" I said as I avoid his gaze
"what to do, I don't want to let you go" i swallowed while trying to calm myself
"you're invading my personal space"
"oh?" I lean back when he suddenly inched closer, our nose are only a centimeter apart that I am afraid that one single move would lead to.........kyaa!!! I could literally explode right now! "this is what invading your personal space looks like in my vocabulary cat" he said in a whisper making my throat dry where's the cold king? where's the poker face? lord, I didn't asked for a seductive one!!!
"ge-ge-ge...."
"hmm???" i moved my head to the left since I feel like I'm melting from our closeness. Heck!!! Why does he have to be like this!!! "get away from me" I said in a whisper, from my peripheral vision I see him smile a little. When he finally stepped back I mentally let out a sigh of relief while my whole being is still trying to recover from his assault
"the next time you do what you did earlier cat, I will chain you to my side" he said lightly but somehow I feel like his words are not light at all so I just nodded vigorously. "good" I started to relax when I notice that his mood had started to turn for the better.
"hey, how long do we have to keep the students from coming?" Rin asked as she delivered a glare to another in coming student. Right now the two of us are standing guard on the bend leading to the hallway where the student council office and where Catherine and Ryuuji are having a talk right now.
"until they showed up so put some more effort to your glares"
"hmph!! Out of all the men out here why do you have to push her to that guy? He's the most dangerous one out there"
"I did not push her to him"
"who are you kidding?"
"it's the fact! I give her the suggestions of falling in love and having romance but I did not push her to him, the two of them made all these things possible all by themselves"
"Kana...."
"look, I may have made some moves but I don't have a hold of their emotions. Besides this is not a manga anymore this is our real world and whether I had a hand on this or not it doesn't effect anything. My power in this world ended when I wrote the word FIN" I felt relieved when she remained quiet.
"come, your friends are waiting for you"

"I ask them to stand guard while were having our talk"
"T-they, let you do that?"
"who do you think I am?" he I asked in a matter of fact tone that made me speechless "walk faster cat Aoi is also waiting for us at the cafeteria
"you didn't have lunch yet?" I asked in surprise
"my Cat suddenly ran away, what do you expect?" for some reason, I suddenly feel like I am not annoyed at him anymore, weird. "stop smiling in daze cat, let's go" I nodded and follow him. "By the way cat"
"hmm??"
"the next time you make something during economics don't give it to anyone" I look to the side when I heard him "give it directly at me"
"you didn't even touch what I made earlier and now you want to horde all my future work. Why don't you just go and ask the new student to cook for you since you like her food"
"are you sulking because I didn't taste your cooking?" I turn my head to look at him and when I saw the teasing glint in his eyes I gave him a glare
"who's sulking! No one's sulking!" suddenly Ryuuji chuckled and he pat my head but I just brush his hands away
"I just let our classmate to have the chance to eat your dish. It's a privilege I'm only giving once cat. Besides Aoi heard from Kana that you'll be having a cooking class so he asked me for a share of yours, Kana and the new student's dish for a taste" for some reason after hearing his explanation I suddenly feel lighter. All the annoyance I felt was even gone. "so stop sulking cat"
"I'm not sulking!"
"then stop acting jealous"
"who's jealous!!!!!"
"looks like the two of you had made up" Kana said as she walks beside me
"more like you've stopped sulking" Rin said as on my right
"I'm not sulking okay! why do you keep on insisting that I'm sulking" Rin raised an eyebrow while Kana gave me a grin. Somehow my hands are itching to give them a knocking
"hooo....so your king was teasing you too" Kana gave me a nudge
"somehow I can't imagine him doing that" Rin look back to Ryuuji who is walking behind us "nope, can't really imagine him" Rin leaned a little "hey, how can you stand being with that ice pole?"
"he's not an ice pole okay" Rin just shrugged
"you took too long, I've been waiting here for ages" Aoi greeted us with a smile when we finally showed up
"sorry 'bout that" my gaze immediately landed on the two maki roll sitting on a saucer on Aoi's right making me look at Ryuuji.
"hey, why didn't you ate those yet, it wouldn't taste good anymore if you don't eat it immediately" Kana said as she sat beside Aoi.
"I was waiting for you guys" Aoi look at Rin "looks like you got a new friend" Rin gave Aoi a nod "Aoi"
"Rin" Aoi gave her a smile and Rin just stared at him
"I asked for Ryuuji to bring back something from your dish but only Monique's share managed to arrive, what happened?" a man in white shirt and black plants showed holding a tray and started putting dishes in our table
"I was evicted from the kitchen and Cathe..."
"it was gone in second" all of us look at Ryuuji, Aoi nodded in understanding while us three is looking at him with a big liar written in our faces because my food was not immediately consumed just as he said.
"I thought it was my chance to taste your cooking again Catherine, I somehow miss it"
"well if yo—"
"let's start eating or else we'll be late for class" I did not manage to finish my sentence since everyone started eating.
"ah,Catherine" I stopped from my tracks when two members of the karate club called my name
"Seniors" I bowed down in greeting
"drop the senior and just called us by our name"
"b-but you're a year ahe—"
"geez..." senior Yuno ruffled my hair "you're our precious princess in the karate club so stop acting like that. you can just call us directly by our name besides, we don't practice seniority in our club"
"yes" I said while smiling at them
"anyway, you can go home early today, the dojo is under maintenance so club club activities are suspended until next week"
"okay, thanks for the informa—"
"epp..."
"thanks for the information Yuno, Ki"
"that's better" the patted my head before they left.
"who are those two?" I almost jumped when Kana suddenly talked beside me, I did not even notice her. When I look at her I notice that all of them hadn't left yet. looks like they waited for me "you seems to be close to the two of them"
"they're a member of the karate club"
"karate club?" Ryuuji asked with furrowed brows "weren't you a member of the girls karate club so how come there are male?"
"oh that...I was kicked out from their because according to them I was too strong for them to handle. Right now I am a member of our school make karate club"
"it's the first time I'm hearing it" I just scratch my head, it's not like I deliberately hid it from him.
"somehow the atmosphere suddenly turned cold" I look at Rin because for some reason I also feel that way.
Meanwhile......
"I heard my sister joined your club........again"
"p-p-president Clyde" the other line said nervously
"ng" our professor stopped from lecturing and looked in my direction making me smile at him while gesturing to continue. "it's been more than a year since we talked right"
"ye-yes. Pre-president, don't worry I will ensure that nothing will happen to miss Catherine"
"well that is certainly to be expected after all my sister is a precious gem" I twirl my pen "separate locker room with state of the art security will be created for my sister's use"
"b-but...that would take a lot of time and money"
"the dojo is under maintenance right? during that time her own private locker shall be built as for the money, the academy had already given me the assurance that they will handle the expenses" I clatter of falling object could be heard from the other line "captain, my precious sister is within a den of wolf and right now I am giving you the task to guard her. Make sure that no bugs of any kinds shall tarnish my sister during her stay at your club. I don't need to remind you of the consequence if you failed your task"
"ye-yes"
"good. You already know the drill so I expect a report of your annual activities this week. If there's any problem contact me directly"
"y-yes president" I ended my call and look at the podium "continue professor" the professor nodded as he continued again with his lecture.
"ahhh!!! Who says the Cerberus is gone! Such a lie!!!"
"Captain calm down"
"calm down when you're quivering in the corner!" I said to Micah who immediately run away from me when he heard president Clyde's voice at the end of the line
"president Clyde is too terrifying to think despite being away in the academy he still had such power here. to so easily make the academy act on his request" Jio who just came in informed us as he put down a check and a sketch of the plan for Catherine's personal locker.
"call all club members except Catherine, I will be implementing some rules, if we want to survive we must ensure that no bugs shall reach Catherine during her membership" just as Jio started drafting the message a knock echoed around the room followed by the door being opened.
"Karate club?" the new comer asked
"Ryuuji Takano" I said in acknowledgement. This guy had been popular since he entered the academy during middle school. not only is he popular among the girls in the academy he is also the ace of the archery club along with his friend Aoi Fumi. "is there something you need from our club?" he went in and immediately handed something. Jio took it and slowly Jio's expression turned into disbelief
"Application form? You want to be a member of our club?" I look at Jio in disbelief when I heard him, making me look at Ryuuji in suspicion
"why is the archery ace giving up his throne in the archery club?" I ask in inquiry "why do you suddenly want to enter the karate club?"
"personal reasons" somehow looking at him upclose, his entire demeanor and aura reminds me of someone.
"if you're here for selfish reasons....."
"are you going to accept me or not?" this brat!!!
"you!!"
"ah....you want reasons" suddenly a cold chill run down my spine as Ryuuji's aura turned deadly as the corner of his lip slightly turned up "its to cut down every bug that dares to stick on my cat" somehow I am now entirely convinced that right now I am facing another demon and just like the first one this demon in front of me is someone associated with Catherine. God just what did I do in my past life to be confronted by two demons on the same day?

Jio: (pats him in the back) It's okay captain
