Wednesday.
With my head held high, I walked into Old Trafford with my father by my side. Today is a big day. United play Spurs at home and our second place position is at stake so losing is not an option.
"Princess, I have to talk to Bobby about something. I'll see you in a bit." Dad said referring to Sir Bobby Charlton. I nodded and then watched my dad walk away.
Just then a bus pulled up outside, but it wasn't just any bus... it was the United bus. My heart started beating really fast at the thought of seeing Jesse for the first time since dinner on Monday when he dropped the biggest bombshell on me.
Even though I'm extremely happy that he moved on while I was gone, I was also a little jealous. The thought of Jesse with another girl has never crossed my mind before, but now it's like I can't even stop thinking about it. I know we've been apart for long now but what I also know is that when two people are destined to be together, they will always find their way back to each other. And I believe that Jesse and I are destined to be together.
Suddenly I could feel my body shaking and immediately snapped out of my daze. The first thing I saw was a concerned Marcus, who had both of his hands placed on either side of my shoulders.
"Soph, are you okay?" Asked Rash.
At first I nodded but then realized that if I don't give him a proper answer then he will spend the rest of the afternoon worrying about me and that cannot happen. "I'm good, peaches." I smiled.
Rash returned the smile and removed his hands from my shoulders when he was convinced that I was okay. "Where were you lost, Miss Dreamer?" He smirked.
"Hollywood." I chuckled. "I'm home sick." I pouted and Rashy immediately started laughing.
"Oh you poor baby." Jesse said sarcastically.
My eyes widened at the sound of his voice. He had taken me by surprise. I furrowed my eyebrows at him and looked at him with a straight face, causing him to laugh.
"Intruder." I rolled my eyes at him.
Jesse held his hands up in defense and smiled. "Hey I'm just passing by." He chuckled and walked towards the locker room.
I let out a sigh of relief when Jesse disappeared in the corridor. Rash was quick to notice that and look at me confused. "Why you giving me that look?" I asked.
"I thought you were over him." Rash said.
Rash is Jesse's best friend. I know that if I tell Rash the truth then he will tell Jess and that's the last thing I need. Rash knows me well so if I lie to him then he will know I'm lying. I have to somehow convince him that I am over Jess.
"I am." I said and the expression on Marcus' face didn't change. "But I've been away for 7 years so it still gets a little awkward when I'm around him." I added and to my luck, Rashy believed everything I said.
"It will get better." Rash smiled. "I got to go now."
"Good luck."
"Thank you."

United Vs Spurs Aftermath.
Walking backstage after just congratulating the guys on their 3-1 victory over Spurs, I couldn't help but think about what just happened in the locker room. The moment I walked into the locker room, Jesse immediately grappled me into a hug. The look on his face afterwards was priceless. Seeing him happy made me really happy.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I accidentally bumped into something. Well not something, someone.
Staring at his bare chest, I made my way up to his eyes. "I'm so sorry." I said.
"It's okay." Replied Dele.
Dele Alli - Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and Jesse's English teammate.
"Hi, I'm Dele." Dele said and offered me a hand.
"Sophia." I smiled and gladly accepted the handshake.
"Ferguson?" Asked the Englishman.
Wait a minute. He knows who I am. How does he know who I am? Is it possible that he watched any of my programs?
"Yeah. How'd you'd know?"
"Well.. you know everyone's been talking about Sir Alex Ferguson's really cute daughter who came back to Manchester." Dele smirked.
Wow. News definitely does spread fast.
"And what do you think? Am I cute?" I smirked at Dele while raising my eyebrows at him.
Dele stroked his chin before responding. "Nah." Dele smiled. "I don't think you're cute, I think you're hot." He added.
For some reason I couldn't help but blush at those words. Dele was being such a flirt. I would have probably found him annoying if he wasn't cute but he was and in that moment, I was taken away by his compliment and it left me speechless.
Suddenly I saw a hand being place over Dele's shoulder and within seconds Erik Lamela appeared. Phew. Talk about perfect timing.
"Dele, who's your cute friend?" Asked the curious Argentine.
"Sophia." I said and smiled at Erik.
"Erik Lamela." He said and returned the smile.
"You sure not Coco Mela?" I smirked.
The two guys immediately started laughing. Coco Mela used to be Erik's username on Twitter. I remember how Paul couldn't stop laughing at it when he saw it.
The biggest smile grew on Erik's face. "Fair play. You can call me that if you wish." He chuckled.
"I won't pass the offer."
"I like you." Coco said. "I'm having a small party at my house on Friday to celebrate my 27th birthday and I'll like for you to come. I know we just met but I think we can be great friends." Said Coco.
It was kind of him to invite me to his birthday party but I'm not sure that this party is a good idea especially because I'd only just met these guys. I know for a fact my father won't approve.
"That's kind of you to do but I'll have to think about it."
"Consider it. I'll DM you the address." Coco said before walking away. He then whipped around and smiled. "And don't worry, Dele will be there too." He winked.
I didn't want to laugh but I couldn't help myself. No matter how hard I tried to hold my laugh in, it just came out.
"I should go before people get any ideas." Dele stated.
"Yeah."
"Come to the party on Friday. As he said I'll be there so you won't be alone." That was all Dele said before walking away.

Not much of Jesse in this chapter but damn, Sophia has make some new friends 🙈
