Prompt: Harry tells Draco he loves him in French. Unfortunately for him, Draco speaks French. Fluently.

"Je t'aime," Harry murmured under his breath. "Je t'aime, je t'aime."
Hermione had just taught him the phrase, but it was hard to pronounce, let alone remember. But French was less known than Spanish, and those were the only languages Hermione spoke fluently enough to give Harry the phrase "I love you."
Harry took a deep breath, marching into the Great Hall. He made direct eye contact with Draco before he sat down, taking note of the faint pink that spread over the other boy's cheeks.
He ate his dinner, tense throughout the whole thing. When he noticed Draco standing, he quickly set down his fork and stood up.
"I'm feeling really tired," he said. "I think I'll head to bed early."
Ron opened his mouth to protest, but Hermione cut him off. "Okay. I hope you feel better."
Harry shot her a grateful look and darted after Draco.
What he didn't expect was to see Draco leaning up against the wall, looking at him.
"Why were you staring at me in the Great Hall?" he asked.
Harry swallowed.
"Vous êtes belle," he said softly.
Draco stared at him, wide-eyed and confused.
Harry simply walked away.

When Harry saw Draco in Potions the next day, he leaned over and whispered his newest phrase to him.
"Les étoiles brillent dans vos yeux, et la lune ne pourrait jamais briller comme vous."
Draco raised his eyebrows. "Excuse me?"
Harry just went back to his work.

The final day, Draco was simply sitting near a window, staring out at the stars and smiling. Harry watched him, a soft smile on his face.
"Je t'aime," he whispered.
Draco didn't jump, didn't show any indication that he had heard Harry other than the upward turn of his lips.
"Je t'aime aussi," was his soft reply.
Harry stilled. "What did you just say?"
Draco slid his legs off the edge of the window, letting them dangle just above the floor, and looked up at Harry, grinning.
"I spent four years in France with my mother, Harry. If you didn't want me to know what you were saying, you should have tried Spanish."
Harry's mouth opened and closed multiple times. Draco smiled at him yet again and shifted over on the windowsill, inviting Harry to sit next to him.
Harry slowly walked over to him, and cautiously sat down.
Draco turned to face him. "Harry, I would really like to kiss you right now."
Harry swallowed. "So do it."
Draco shook his head. "First I need to know something. Would you be my boyfriend?"
Harry nodded. "Yes."
"Wonderful. Now, may I kiss you?"
Harry answered by leaning forward and kissing Draco gently.
They stayed there underneath the stars for several more hours.
Note:
Vous êtes belle translates to "You look beautiful" In French.
Les étoiles brillent dans vos yeux, et la lune ne pourrait jamais briller comme vous translates to "the stars shine in your eyes and the moon could never shine like you."
Je t'aime aussi translates to "I love you too"
Hey! So I'm back from the dead.
Summer vacation is almost here, so I'll probably be writing more.
I'm already writing chapters for Hold My Hand and Innocents Be Damned, but for now Sleeping Beauty is on hold.
