Never accept Tony's drink challenge just to prove that he is better than you. Unfortunately, Stephen wasn't known for being patient, it was quite the opposite actually. So when the both of you needed to see Stark about a matter of national importance, you never thought the encounter would end up taking care of two drunk genius laying on the floor and screaming about who is more intelligent than the other.
You invoked a portal to the Avengers Tower, followed closely by Stephen who whispered in your ear, his breath tickling your sensitive skin :
« Let's get this over with, love »
You blushed at the nickname, your heart speeding up and shivers rolling down your spine. You shook your head and sighed.
« You sound like it's awful to be with Tony, Stephen. » you chuckled, grabbing his arms and pecking his cheek.
He shrugged and walked into the living room to be met by Tony at the bar serving himself a drink. As soon as he saw the both of you he exclaimed :
« Facial hair bro and Princess of my Dreams! Do you want a drink ? Of course, you want one. »
He didn't wait for your answers and already filled two glasses of the brown honey liquid. The Cloak immediately walked off, floating at the opposite corner of the room. Tony froze, looking at the item with a flicker of daydreams wish.
« You should let me study the cloak. I need to know how it works. »
You giggled.
« One word, Tony : Magic. Not everything can be explained with sciences. »
Tony snorted and drank the rest of his glass, shrugging his shoulders and refilling his glass. You frowned and stepped closer to him. You gently put your hand on his arm, stopping his actions.
« No more. »
He pushed your hand away and spat back :
« Magic doesn't solve everything, Y/N. And you're not my mum. »
You looked at Stephen, your eyes pleading him to do something.
« Please Tony, alcohol is not the solution. »
He grinned at you.
« I'm sure you can't handle alcohol like I do, neither does Stephen. »
The dee Sorcerer's voice announced :
« Actually, I can. »
As if in slow motion, Tony handled him the glass of alcohol, his eyes reflecting the sadness and the fading glimmer of hope.
« Prove it. »
And that was the signal of an incoming hangover and drunkenness
You gasped, not liking where this was going to go. Immediately, you argued :
« Getting drunk is not the solution, boys. Quit it! »
However, Stephen had taken a seat at Tony's bar, drinking the burning honey liquid in one swift swallow. You blinked a few times as the drinking contest started without your approval. You were like an invisible person, the Sam in parties in charge of bringing back the drunk friends. You had no power, and force wasn't going to help. So you watched, powerless, helpless the two geniuses drink glass after glass, noticing gradually the first drunk signs. You sat next to Stephen and asked JARVIS to keep an eye on Tony who only rolled his eyes and muttered « I'm not a baby. »
« Show me what you got, Strange. » started Tony, swallowing quickly his shot.
« Gladly. » Stephen answered, mimicking his actions.
The current situation went on for a while until you noticed Stephen's hands shake more prominently than usual and Tony started to talk sciences, which was gibberish to you. Nevertheless, they didn't stop.
« I'm smarter than you, Strraaaange. »
« I am the smart one here, Steak. .. Stank,.... Stark! »
You decided to record there little exchange, at least you could take a good proof of alcohol's misleading causes and actions on the human being system.
« I have a suit. »
« I have a ... Cloak! Of Levitation! »
You chuckled at their male contest to know who is better than the other.
« I'm older than you! » Stark said.
And Stephen stayed silent, until he asked, turning to you, his bluish eyes lost in yours.
« I'm... how old am I, lovely Y/ N? »
You stuttered, caught off guard by the question.
« I I don't know, Stephen. »
« I got you here Strange! I'm older than you! » Stark exclaimed proudly.
« How is that a good thing? »
Tony leant over, whispering- shouting in Stephen's ears.
« I have more experience! In many things. »
« Oh god, seriously Tony ? » you sighed, taking your head in your hands. Iron man winked at you and whispered seductively :
« I could always show you. »
As soon as his words left his lips, Stephen 's arms were wrapped around your waist, holding you tightly against your chest and his embrace surprised you, not expecting him to be a bit possessive.
He said in a hoarse and low voice :
« She's mine, back off, Stark. »
His grip tightened and he nibbled the back of your neck, glancing at Stark who shrugged and took another shot.
« Your bad, you don't know what you miss. »
A sharp pain made you wince and you realised Stephen had bit you, leaving a red mark on your skin. He was groaning at Stark's innuendos and you knew a fight was going to explode if it kept on this way. You grabbed Stephen's hands, spinning around and said :
« Enough you two. Stephen, we're going home. I won't take no for an answer. Stark, stop drinking and go to sleep. »
« You're not my mum, Y/N » Tony whined.
You turned to him, sternly glaring at him.
« If you don't do what I say, I'm going to call Romanoff and believe me, she won't be as gentle as I am. Is that clear? »
Before Stark could say anything, Stephen blurted out :
« My girlfriend is so hot! »
A veil of red covered your cheeks and you grabbed Stephen's hand, keeping him from losing his balance.
« Yes, Y/N. It's clear. Good night, lovebirds. »
After Tony's departure and your return to the Sanctum thanks to the portal, the cloak following closely behind you. You led him to your shared bedroom. During the whole ride, Stephen kept complimenting you, opening up and telling you what he wishes he could do to you. When you arrived, you were a blushing mess, but you kept your composure and put him to bed. The hard part was when you had to remove his clothes. His hands kept touching you and even if you resisted for a while, you gave up at his adorable pouting face.
« I want you, looooove. » Stephen said drunkenly, opening his arms for a cuddle.
« In a moment, Stephen » you said, gathering the clothes and changing quickly in proper pyjamas.
When you came back from the bathroom, Stephen was in the bed, waiting for you and playing with the cloak. His hands stroking the collar with his mouth wide open.
« So soft, it looks like silk ! » he marvelled at the relic.
You joined him in bed and he automatically wrapped his hands around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
« You're going to have one hell of a hangover, tomorrow morning » you chuckled as Stephen nuzzled his face into your neck, nibbling and kissing gently your skin. He intended to leave love bites and you could already feel the forming bruise.
« Stephen » you moaned as he licked the tender skin of your neck, trailing kisses down your collarbone.
« Not tonight, you're drunk ». you argued, gently pushing him away.
« Let's prove Stark who you truly belongs to, » he said, in a clear voice before kissing you passionately which soon turned out into a full make-out session.
The Following morning
When Stephen woke up, he felts as if he had been stamped by a herd of horses and he groaned as he turned in the bed. His eyes fluttered open to be faced with your sleeping and naked form. His eyes widened as he noticed the marks and lovebites left on your skin and he blushed. He usually was very gentle, cherishing you in every way he knew and he realised he had been rough last night. Shakily, he traced your skin from your chin to your collarbone and to the valley of your breasts. Your body was covered in hickeys and as he moved closer to you, he realised he was too covered in scratch and love bites. Oh, you were as feisty as him and perhaps you could make a repeat of last night without the alcohol involved this time.
« Never again » he moaned out, sluggishly.
You opened one eye and pecked his cheek.
« Never again. As much as drunk Stephen was quite eager last night, I prefer my sober Stephen. »
He grunted and pushed himself further in the cover as his head pounded in pain.
You chuckled and said :
« Stay here, I'll be back with medicine and water. »
He glanced at your form leave the bed and as much as his mind was in a hazy mood, he couldn't believe how lucky he was to have you by his side.
« Oh ! And by the way, according to JARVIS, Tony is in the same state than you. No winners ! » you exclaimed from the corridors which only made Stephen roll his eyes.
