A dreamless sleep.
No dreams = no nightmares = best fucking sleep of my life.
I had never taken any medicine that made me incredibly sleepy, even when I didn't sleep for days after the incident. I avoid taking sleeping pills, for what reason I too do not know.
It was only 7:45 when I had regained some of my consciousness, but I decided to fuck it and go back to sleep.
15 minutes later, my -sometimes annoying- roommate decided to shake me awake. Sad thing about me is; if someone had woken me up completely, then I wouldn't be sleeping until the moon is high above the sky again.
"Petra, what do you want?" I grumbled, eyes half-lidded.
"(Y/N), you don't have any party clothes do you?" She asked, her voice slightly traced with shock.
"I'll wear whatever the f I want for the party thank you very much."
"Well, I woke you up because it's breakfast, and unless you want the leftovers, you better get your butt moving, missy."
"It's 8 Petra, who wakes up at 8?"
"People who want food with quality." She tucked a falling strand of her strawberry-blonde hair behind her ear. "Now come on, move."
With an exaggerated grumble, I got out of bed and sat there, trying to gather my mind. I would've stayed like that for another hour, lost in my thoughts if Petra hadn't slapped my back.
Sighing, I went into the bathroom in our room. Small, simple, extremely colourless, not that I mind of course.
I did my business quickly and efficiently, and stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body.
I took the most comfortable clothes I can find, ending up with a plain white shirt with a grey, hooded jacket and some black baggy pants.
When I finished dressing, Petra looked up to examine my choice of clothes. "You have some weird fashion sense (Y/N)," she commented.
I shrugged. "Clothes are just clothes Petra. As long as it covers my body, then I'll wear it." I took my keys and ID and opened up the door, Petra following behind me.
"I'm just saying, you gotta have some taste in fashion if you're gonna get a man."
"Not interested," I replied with a monotone voice.
Dating, or heck, even falling in love had never crossed my mind. I didn't really care about those things, and I hope I never will. But, I suppose according to science I'm gonna have those love hormones or shit one day.
We reached downstairs quietly, not exchanging any words. Since Eren and Armin hang out with that weird group of friends, that just got dragged by Petra's weird group of friends, I suppose I hang out with them all so I can keep an eye with Eren.
I trust Armin, but truth be told Eren's always making scenes everywhere.
"Hey guys!" Petra greeted the group. I was surprised that Eren was awake before 10 am, him and Armin joining the massive group of people.
And of course, the bitch was there.
And by bitch, I mean Levi.
Look at him, just standing with his arms crossed and a -probably- permanent frown plastered on his face, glaring at everyone. And, what the heck is he wearing on his neck, a fucking cloth?
Levi's sharp gaze finally reached mine, and it seemed to have turned sharper than ever, hate mixed with more hate.
I don't know what is his problem with me, but I have a feeling that making my arch enemy in the two days I've been here is a bad idea.
I was going to try and apologize, but then Hanji suddenly dragged me away. "Uhh, I wouldn't try talking to Levi today, especially you. He's been in a foul mood this morning," she frantically whispered in my ear.
Levi had a questioning glare as he stared at me and Hanji, but he eventually looked away. Hanji sighed, and walked back to the group.
I caught Levi and Petra looking at each other, before Petra quickly looked away, leaving Levi with an uncomfortable expression.
Just what the heck happened to those two in that call last night?
I wanted to ask, but I think I'll just get scolded for poking my nose in others' business, so I just left it.
We ate breakfast together again, sitting at the same table. This time, I managed to get a seat with Eren and Armin.
"How's your head Eren?" I asked, taking a bite out of my banana.
"Just... got a bruise that hurts like hell," he grumbled his reply, sending a glare at Jean and Connie, who were off the hook with a warning.
"Thankfully, the nurse said he didn't get any major concussion, so he'll be fine soom enough," Armin added and I felt relief pour over my face.
I nodded and took another bite out of my fruit, and accidentally caught Levi's gaze, again.
His eyes burned my soul, before looked back at his food.
Seriously, what is this guy's problem with me?
I finished my banana and quickly drank my milk, not wanting to be here anymore.
I was going to quickly get up and leave, but then Hanji asked us all a question, so I had to be the polite person I was and sat back down. "You guys are going to the party tonight right?"
Most of us murmured a yes, which is a surprise. What surprised me even more is that even the dorky mcbitch grunted a yes as well. Who would've known. He's a party bitch type. That or, the twitching Hanji beside him is the one that forced him to come.
Eventually we all finished our food and went back to the community room to hang out. I sat with Eren and Armin, along with a girl that they befriended, which was none other than Mikasa, Levi's cousin.
We just sat there listening to Armin ramble about werewolves for a few good minutes, until Mikasa said a question completely directed to me. "(Y/N), why do you not like werewolves?"
I visibly flinched at the question, and Eren and Armin stiffened beside me. I coughed and cleared my throat, "There... was an incident that happened to me involving werewolves when I was younger."
Somewhere behind me, I felt two pairs of eyes turning to me direction. "You could say it was an incident that made me end up in the orphanage where I met Eren and Armin."
Mikasa's features darkened as she heard my words. "I'm sorry to hear that."
"Yeah.."
"That's why (Y/N) never liked werewolves. She's gone through it herself... so please don't hate her for that. It's not exactly her fault for being that way," Armin explained and leaned on me gently.
"No...no," Mikasa waved it off. "I understand it completely."
I gave her a nod before turning away, trying to find out the two people that stared a hole right into my back. I saw no one looking my way, and I just shrugged it off.
"Hey... do any of you guys know how to eat lots of food without getting full?" Eren asked seriously.
"Impossible. You'd get full eventually Eren," Mikasa answered with the same serious tone, but the was a glint of amusement dancing in her eyes.
Eren scowled. "Well then how does Sasha do it?" He growled, snatching glances at the brunette.
"That's just called talent Eren," Mikasa chuckled softly, and we all joined in the laugh, while Eren sat there and pouted.
My ears caught the sound of a surprised squeal from behind me, then followed by a familiar voice saying, "I'll do it. At the party."
The laughter from me died, and Mikasa's barely visible expression showed that she had heard the same thing as well.
What the hell is that bitch going to do at the party?
I turned around and caught Levi's gaze, the both of us sharing a pure-filled hatred glare.
I don't know where it came from, but from somewhere I had the guts to deepen my glare that made him blink in surprise, before I glanced away, only to catch Mikasa glinting eyes.
And there was something in her eyes that made my spine shiver in fear.
