So you guys...I have a problem. I can't decide wheteher I should write a sequel to this fanfic, A Pleasant Surprise or if I should start on a new fanfic. "Soph, darling?" He placed a trail of kisses along my bare shoulder. I furrowed my eyebrows and slightly opened my eyes. The sun was shining straight at me. He stroked my arm, causing goosebumps to spread across my skin as he started nibbling on my collarbone.
"Niall, it tickles!" I giggled and rolled around to look at him. He looked at me with big eyes and a big, cheeky smile spread across his face.
"I just wanted to see you before I left. I have meetings all day." He sighed.
"Cheer up, it's only for a few hours right?" I stroked his cheek. He nodded and pulled me on top of him. I would've kissed him if I didn't have morning breath.
"I'll leave early." He winked and pulled my face closer to his to kiss me. I quickly turned so that he kissed my cheek instead.
"Sorry, morning breath!" I exclaimed as I skipped away towards to bathroom, the expression on his face was priceless. I brushed my teeth as quick as I could. I was feeling better already, I had that feeling again. That feeling I thought I'd lost. But I hadn't lost it, it'd just been hidden behind everything else. Everything that I was trying so hard to forget now. I know I can't just push all that away, I'll have to deal with it sooner or later. But right now, I just want to enjoy my last days with Niall. I'll deal with all that later, probably. It won't be easy but at least I know I'll always have Niall to lean on.
"You're such a tease." Niall chuckled as I made my way to the kitchen where he was sitting and eating. I smiled and lay my arm around his neck, entangled my fingers into his messy hair as I sat down on his lap. I gently brushed my lips against his, I heard him pushing his plate of food away and the next second his hands slipped inside my shirt. I couldn't help but smiling as I pulled away from the kiss.
"I love you." I whispered to his lips. His eyes glistened as he looked at me. He took my hand in his and put it on his chest, right where his heart is. It was beating really fast, just like mine. With his other hand he pulled my lips back to his and kissed me again with more force. The passion radiating from him was overwhelming. He deepened the kiss as he ran his hand through my hair. I had to pull away to breath, he was killing me. "You'll be late."
"Don't care." He smirked. I just shook my head with a chuckle. He reached over to grab his favourite red cap and put it on, it just made him even more irresistible. I bit my lower lip, tried to control myself. "Can you keep a secret, love?" Our eyes locked as his lips pulled up in a wide smile.
"Of course." I said giving him a confused look. He moved his face closer to mine, our lips were only inches away from each other.
"I am helplessly in love with you." He whispered to my lips. I closed the space between us as my hands slipped into his shirt. He shivered slightly at the touch of my cold hands. I slowly let my hands trail over his toned abs as he deepened the kiss.
"NIALL JAMES HORAN!" I heard Harry yell as the boys started laughing. We ignored them, we were so used to this.
"Niall, we'll be late." Zayn moaned.
"It's a live tv interview, we can't be late!" Liam said with a concerned voice.
"What?" I said, surprised, as I pulled away from Niall.
"Yup! And it's supposed to air in 2 hours." Zayn said.
"You said it was a meeting!" I looked at Niall. He just shrugged.
"I didn't know." He smiled. I rolled my eyes at him and stood up.
"We're expected to do the interview today, Niall." Louis laughed.
"I'm sorry, it's Soph's fault. She seduced me." He grinned.
"Oh, someone's had fun today eh?" Harry winked at me. Niall gave the thumbs up to him as the rest of the guys laughed. I hit Niall across the arm and just stuck my tongue out at Harry.
"Danielle and El will be here soon." Louis said. Yesterday me and the girls has decided to go shopping while the boys did their interviews and had their meetings. It's been so long since I just hung out with them, I'm really looking forward to it.
"We really have to go now." Liam said anxiously.
"Fine." Niall muttered. "I promise to be back soon. I'm gonna miss you..." He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulled me closer to him so that our bodies were touching.
"Don't say anything stupid." I giggled. "...and I'll miss you too." I laid my hands on his cheeks as he leaned in to press his lips against mine. I stole his cap and put it on my head instead. I felt him smiling through the kiss.
"Alright, that's enough!" Louis yelled as him and Zayn each grabbed one of Niall's arms, lifted him up and forced him with them. "Sorry, it's for your own best!"
"See you in a bit babe!" Liam gave me a hug.
"BYE SOPHIE!" The others yelled as they struggled to take Niall with them. Me and Liam exchanged a look and we both started laughing.
"Weirdos." I shook my head with a smirk.
"Bye Soph." Liam followed them out.
"Soooph, I love you!" Niall yelled from the hall after they'd all disappeared out the door. I stood there laughing for myself as I thought about how lucky I am to have them all in my life. Seconds later Danielle and Eleanor walked into the apartment, both laughing and looking confused.
"What was that about?" Danielle snickered. "SOPH!" She exclaimed when she saw me. They both threw their arms around me to hug me.
"Wow, you had that made for him?" Eleanor took the bracelet in her hands. I nodded before taking a sip of my coffee.
"It's incredible." Danielle said as Eleanor handed her the bracelet.
"Really? I'm not sure he's gonna like it." I bit my lower lip.
"Are you kidding me!? He's gonna love it!" Eleanor smiled.
"I hope so." I put the bracelet down in the box again. I'd just picked it up from the store. I'd actually managed to keep it a secret from him. It wasn't anything spectacular, just a bracelet in white gold and in the ends, two handcuffs. I was worried that it would turn out looking very feminine but it actually didn't, it was perfect and I couldn't wait to give it to him.
"Can I please have a picture with you? You girls are my inspirations." Suddenly a couple of fans were standing right next to our table.
"It must be so annoying for you to stop for pictures all the time." A girl said and looked apologetically at me. I shook my head.
"Nah, we're used to it." Eleanor smiled.
"And it's actually quite nice, everyone's so sweet." Danielle said as she hugged a girl.
"Crap, what time is it!?" Eleanor fumbled to get her phone out of her clutch.
"Oh god, we almost forgot about the interview! Wow, we're such great girlfriends." Danielle chuckled.
"Don't worry, we still have 20 minutes to get home." Eleanor winked. We took our shoppingbags and hurried out of the café to grab a taxi and head back to mine and Niall's apartment. Yes, mine and Niall's. I played those words over and over again in my head. I loved the fact that I could say that now. Mine and Niall's apartment.
"Hurry up, we're gonna miss the beginning!" I yelled as we rushed up the stairs. I threw all of the bags in my hands into the hall and rushed to the couch to turn on the tv. "WHICH CHANNEL!?"
"4! It's starting!" Eleanor jumped onto the couch and Danielle sat down between us.
"They're on Alan Carr again." Danielle giggled.
"What!? Are you kidding me?" I exclaimed. They both shook their heads.
"Nope, hasn't Niall told you?" Danielle smiled.
"No...actually, I'm not sure he even knew himself." I smiled. "I love Alan Carr, he's so funny. But I'm a bit worried too..." I felt my cheeks turning red as the girls started laughing.
"This will be fun." Eleanor grinned. The boys came into the studio and I couldn't stop myself from staring at Niall who looked incredibly hot in the grey shirt he was wearing. Their stylist is a genius.
"There they are!" Eleanor pointed at the screen.
"Oh my god, we're acting like such fangirls." Danielle laughed. I was too busy focusing on the interview.
"So, I heard that you lads are going off to America for another tour." Alan said.
"Um, yeah. We're so lucky to be given this opportunity and the support we have from the fans is incredible. We're just so thankful." Zayn smiled as the crowd cheered.
"We're really excited to go back." Harry grinned.
"I bet you are Harry, plenty of ladies for you over there eh?" Alan said with a grin.
"Er...they're nice. And the food is incredible." Harry tried to change the subject.
"Speaking of ladies..." Alan continued. I looked at Danielle and Eleanor, we were all thinking the same thing.
"Oh god!" I started chewing on my lip.
"How many of you are single?" Alan asked, he obviously already knew the answer. Zayn and Harry raised their hands, both smiling.
"How are things with Danielle?" Alan looked at Liam, the camera zoomed in on him and a picture of him and Danielle was displayed on the screen behind them in the studio. The whole crowd awwed. I squeezed Danielle's hand, she was smiling like crazy.
"Great." Liam said proudly. "We're happy."
"Louis, still with Eleanor?" Alan raised his eyebrows. Eleanor sighed in relief, that was an easy question.
"Yes." Louis smirked.
"And things are good between you two?" Alan asked.
"Yup." Louis smiled and glanced at Niall who was sitting next to him. Niall looked terrified and the boys were clearly enjoying it. They could barely contain their excitement and they were sitting there with their stupid grins. Alan asked Liam and Louis a couple more questions and for every second that went by Niall got more and more nervous.
"Niall..." Alan grinned. The crowd started laughing when the camera zoomed in on Niall's terrified face. He smiled anxiously and the other boys started laughing, making it even more obvious that he was freaking out. Everyone knows we're together but Niall hasn't really mentioned it much in any interviews or anything and now he had to answer questions about us on live tv. Even I started getting nervous. "Who's this gorgeous lady?" Alan pointed at the screen, a picture of me and Niall smiling popped up. We were walking hand in hand in a park. I smiled as I thought back on that day, remembered how we walked around and talked, ate ice cream, cuddled, hugged, kissed. But no matter how hard I thought about it, I couldn't remember anyone taking photos of us.
"Er...that's Sophie." Niall said with a smile as he started slightly blushing.
"Ooouuuoooo." The crowd went wild.
"Getting cosy, eh?" Alan looked at Niall as a picture of us kissing popped up.
"Look he can't keep his hands off her!" Louis exclaimed as the boys started laughing. Alan showed some more pictures of us and he asked Niall a LOT of questions, some very inappropriate. I just sat there blushing whilst Danielle and Eleanor laughed.
"Okay, to a serious question now. I want each of you to describe Sophie with one word." Alan said.
"Oh no." I moaned and hid my face in my hands.
"Zayn?" Alan turned to him. I couldn't help but getting nervous.
"Incredible." Zayn said with a smile.
"Liam?" Alan said.
"Perfectforniall!" Liam chuckled.
"Harry?" Alan said after glaring playfully at Liam.
"Hot." Harry said with a cheeky grin.
"Ooohh, interesting." Alan exclaimed. "Louis?"
"Amazing." Louis looked at Niall and they all waited for what Niall would say.
"And finally, Niall. With what word would you describe your lovely lady?" Alan said excitedly.
"Mine." Niall smiled as everyone went crazy. I started tearing up and had to struggle to stop myself from crying.
"Aaawww!" Eleanor exclaimed as she put her arms around me. Danielle joined in too and all three of us were laying there in the couch hugging each other for the rest of the interview.
"We're so lucky to have them." I couldn't stop smiling.
"Indeed we are." Eleanor agreed.
"I'm hungry." Danielle stood up and set off to the kitchen. I realised how hungry I was too and me and Eleanor both went to join Danielle in the kitchen.
"We should bake something for them!" Eleanor said.
"And write 'Good job, you didn't screw up' or what?" I said sarcastically.
"Oh shut up you." Eleanor chuckled. "But we really should."
"Or...we could just buy something since we're too lazy. Right?" Danielle smiled.
"Yeah, you're right. Besides, I can't bake." Eleanor opened the fridge and started looking after something to eat. We decided to cook some pasta since Paul texted us, saying that the boys would be doing some more interviews with magazines and radio stations. Well, Eleanor and Danielle cooked the pasta. They wouldn't let me touch anything, Niall had obviously told them about my cooking skills.
"I'll be back soon, the bakery is right around the corner right?" I was so gonna get lost. Even though Danielle explained the way to the bakery to me in detail and even drew a map. I still wasn't sure where it was located, I was 98% sure that I would get lost.
"You'll find it Soph, don't worry." Danielle winked at me.
"Fine, I'll see you in a bit."
"Alright, don't get lost!" Eleanor yelled jokingly behind me.
"Ha-ha really funny." I just stuck my tongue out at her before shutting the door. I followed Danielle's map and kept my eyes open, looking for the bakery. I searched every single corner of the area that Danielle had drawn up but there was no sign of the bakery. After looking for it for about 20 minutes, I realised that I was holding the map upside down. I'm definitley not telling anyone about that. I found the bakery right away when I followed the map. It was quite a small, cosy bakery but their cakes were incredible. I ended up choosing a red velvet cake and then hurried back to the apartment followed by paparazzis.
"What took you so long!?" Danielle laughed as I handed her the cake.
"Well I couldn't find it at first and I got stopped by fans all the time." I ended up telling them about my incident with the map anyway and they had a good laugh about it.
"Thank you for today." I hugged Danielle tightly.
"We'll try to come here as much as possible for the next few days." Eleanor said with sad eyes. I hugged her too, after I go back to Sweden I won't be able to see them until the start if the tour...or even longer! I'd had a great day with them and it was almost midnight now. The boys had returned at around 6.30 pm. We'd all sat down to eat the cake, after I'd yelled a bit at them of course, and then we just talked for the rest of the night. My stomach was actually hurting from laughing so much. Me and Niall said good night to them all and then it was just the two of us in the apartment.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" Niall yelled as he shut the door. "Finally, I never thought they would leave." He joked and sighed in relief.
"Hey, that's mean." I smiled. He started walking towards me, I took a few steps back until I reached the edge of the couch. Crap. Niall grinned and didn't stop, instead he put his arms around me and gently pushed me down until he was lying on top of me on the couch. His hands were pressed down into the couch above my shoulders. I bit my lip as I trailed my hands along his stomach, his chest, his neck until I reached his cheeks. "Yours, eh?" I raised my eyebrows at him. At first he looked confused, then he understood.
"Yup. Got a problem with that!?" He chuckled. I shook my head with a smile as I ran my hand along his jawline. "Good." He said and leaned in to place a trail of kisses on my neck. His soft lips worked their way from my neck until they found my lips. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to me. He slid his tongue across my lower lip and I slightly opened my mouth, allowing him to deepen the kiss. A soft moan vibrated against my lips and he pulled away, all out of breath.
"Keep that thought!" I laughed and pushed him off me to jump off the couch. I had to stop and look at him again. He just sat there looking adorable without understanding anything. I bent down and brushed my lips against his before rushing to the hall where I'd thrown my bags earlier today. I picked up the box with the bracelet and hurried back to Niall.
"You think it's okay to do that to someone and then just leave them?" Niall chuckled.
"Sorry." I smiled. "I have something for you." I handed him the box. He looked at me with confused eyes.
"Darling, you've given me your heart. That's more than I could ever ask for." He stroked my cheek with his thumb, leaned in to place a kiss on my forehead.
"Just open it Nialler!" I giggled. He shook his head with a chuckle but opened the box. His jaw dropped when he saw the bracelet.
"Soph, it's...it's amazing." He took it in his hands and just stared at it with a smile. He reached his hand out and I helped him to put it on. It looked even better on his wrist, like it belonged there.
"It's just so that you know that I'm always here with you, even if we're...a thousand miles apart." I sighed. He lifted my chin with his hand and our eyes locked.
"Only for a couple of days." He whispered.
"No matter where you are in the world, you'll still be the one who has my heart." I kissed his cheek. He pulled me up on his lap and rubbed my back as I rested my head on his chest.
"I can't believe that you're leaving in 4 days." He said carefully and kissed me on the head.
"Me neither. I don't want to go." I whispered.
"Well, at least we'll have something to look forward to later since the America tour starts soon." He said. I smiled at the thought of traveling with him, discovering America and watching him perform live in front of a big crowd.
"I can't wait." I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned in to kiss him. Our lips moved perfectly together, this time more desperate than before. I entangled my fingers into his hair as he pressed his hand on my back. His hands found the end of my shirt and he easily pulled it over my head. Our eyes locked again and a big smile spread across his face. It's been quite a while since we last had a moment like this. His lips found mine again and I let my hands trail teasingly along his bare chest inside his shirt. He sighed and pulled his shirt off, revealing his defined body. His eyes glistened as he pulled me on top of him and started kissing my neck, moving down to my collar bone. A soft moan escaped my mouth. He chuckled and his hot breath tickled my neck. "I'm all yours." I whispered into his ear. He brushed his lips against mine with a smile.
"My Sophie is back." He whispered to my lips as he stared right into my eyes.
"She never left." I closed the space between us. His fingertips slowly started traveling up and down my back, sending chills down my spine. I'd missed this, a lot. I'd forgotten how all of this felt but Niall made everything come back again, he made me feel again, he brought me back to life.
