*Hungary's POV*
Ahh how the snow looks wonderful today. Despite how cold it might be, it brings out a wonderful setting. Germany out did himself again, this years party is going to be a blast. Hanging out with fellow countries, stuffing your face with cake, and well... couples. How I shiver saying that one word.
Not like I hate the feeling of love itself, I never even knew what that felt like. Even now I don't, I'm starting to feel lonely. Yes I have friends who are like family, but we all need that special someone in our lives. Including me.
"Elizabeta! Help me out with the lights please." A strong male voice led me out of my thoughts, it was Ludwig. I climbed up the ladder and handed him the last of his decorations.
"Okay you two lets take a break." The Italian said handing us a glass of hot chocolate.
"Thank you, Italy" Ludwig said and grabbed a cup, I reached out to grab one.
"Hello everyone!" An energetic voice came from the door. It was Gilbert and Roderich.
"Hey guys, nice to see you again" I greeted and curtsied.
"Same to you too, Elizabeta" Gilbert said and grabbed a cup.
"We're here to help set up for the party" Roderich said rolling up his sleeves.
"Okay then, you two can help me with setting up tables. Elizabeta will finish the lights." Ludwig instructed and dragged the boys with him. I giggled and climbed up the ladder to finish the red and green lights.
*****
When I finished I looked over and saw the two being bossed around by the stronger German.
"Okay that's enough. Tables are all set and ready, good work" he said.
"G-Good" Roderich said looking like he's in pain and out of breath. I felt something behind me and saw it was Gilbert with his smug face.
"Do you need something, Gilbert?" I said, I felt another presence on my back.
Roderich had the same face, I look up and see Gilbert holding a strange looking leaf. They both leaned in pucking their lips, I slipped below them causing them to kiss each other. Without even noticing they continued to make out, then using tongue. I personally wanted to shriek in my fangirl state but I decided to wait out the now heated kiss. They pulled back and their faces... Priceless.
"AHHHHHHHHHH" they both screamed, realizing who they've kissed. I bursted out laughing, I held my stomach in the process. I could hear Ludwig and Feliciano laughing with me.
"Did you two really think you could sneak a kiss from me that easily?" I said toning down my laugh then wiping a tear. "What kind of fantasy are you guys in?"
"W-W-Whatever, I'm not giving up though" the Austrian stated.
"Me neither" the Prussian agreed.
"Okay then, I'm going outside for a walk. See you love birds at the party~" I teased as I grabbed my scarf.
"WE'RE NOT LOVE BIRDS!" They shouted when I closed the door.
I swear those two are idiots at times, although it was mostly Gilbert. When I turned around cold breeze hit me in the face, it was rather welcoming. The view of the falling snow dawns over me, absolutely breath taking.
Looking all around I see children play, people into groups, and couples cuddling against each other for warmth. Then I hear a soft melody coming from my left, I look to see a girl playing the violin. People start to surround her, I did too so I can see her play in clear view.
It's funny, she kinda looks like Roderich, she has his little curl on her head. Except H/L H/C hair, and E/C eyes, and lovely skin. It start to daydream but it stopped once I heard a familiar tune.
(A/N- BTW you are not in a subway XD)
She stopped, and the crowd cheered. She bowed and started packing up, people start walking away. I rushed over to her.
"H-Hello" I shyly greet with hands behind my back. She looked up from her case, her eyes gleamed in sunlight.
"Hello there, do you need something?" She asked, she even had Roderich's accent.
"W-Well I thought your performance was great, and I'd like to ask you something."
"What do you need?"
"There's a christmas party here in town for all countries to visit." I grabbed a flyer. "I would love to let them hear you preform." I then smiled, she held the paper.
"W-Wait are you a country too?" Her eyes widened.
"Yes I am, I am Hungary but friends call me Elizabeta" I said and stuck out my hand, she immediately took my hand and kissed it.
"It is an honor to meet a beautiful country, such as yourself" she greeted and released my hand, heat flowed into my cheeks. "I would love to preform, but I'm not a country" she hung her head.
"That's okay, as long as you are invited by one you have permission to come with us" I gave her a warm smile.
"Thank you miss, my name is Y/N Edelstein pleasure to meet you." She said and bowed.
"Hang on, Edelstein? That's your last name?" I asked surprised.
"Um, yes it is." Y/N said looking at me like I'm crazy.
"D-Do you have any siblings by any chance?" I took one step closer to her.
"Y-Yes, an older brother named Roderich" she said leaning back from me being too close.
"I never knew he had a sister!" I gasp in shock.
"W-Wait what?" She said slowly stepping away, I grabbed her hand.
"Come with me!" I said and dragged her along, earning a yelp from the young violinist.
*****
*Roderich's POV*
"Honestly are you that dense? It's obvious that she likes me." I argued, resting my head in my hand.
"Pfft, yeah right like she'd go with you. Your talking to ze awesome Prussia!" He said flexing his non existent mussels.
"Stop waisting your time! You have an ego like that frenchman!" I snapped.
"Well at least I'm confident enough to tell her how I feel, Chicken!" He yelled back doing the chicken movement with his arms.
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP, OR YOU'LL RUN TEN LAPS AROUND THIS WHOLE BUILDING!" Ludwig bellowed, a flinch and a sweat drop came from us both.
"Y-Yes sir/ Got it" we said but still glared at each other. Then the door opened, Elizabeta's face appeared.
*Elizabeta's POV*
"Are you guys okay in here?" I asked nervously since I heard the intense yell coming from Ludwig.
"Yeah we're fine, what's up with you?" Gilbert asked.
"W-well I actually have a surprise for Roderich" I looked back at Y/N, she looked nervous.
"What is it?" He asked getting up from his chair. I looked at Y/N again, she nodded and lets go of my shoulder. I stepped back and Y/N walked out from the corner, Roderich looked somewhat petrified.
"Y-Y-Y/N? You're alive?" He said,his face pale like a ghost.
"Y-Yes I am, he released me when they found him. They took him and now he's on death row" she said, tears formed in her eyes. (A/N- Can you guess what happened to you?)
"I'm so sorry!" Roderich pulled her in for a hug crying, Y/N held on like her life was on it.
"It's okay, little brother" she said and hugged back.
"Little brother?!" Gilbert and I said speechless, Gilbert on the other hand was getting ready to laugh. I elbowed him in the stomach.
"T-There was just s-so much smoke and m-mom and dad pulled me away and-"
"Shh, it's okay I'm here now" she silenced him by a finger on his lips. He stopped and nodded, Gilbert quietly snickered, I gave him a deadly glare. Y/N pulled away from Roderich and walked toward me, she took both my hands with her.
"Thank you, Miss Hungary, I wish to repay you some how" she said, joyous of her and Roderich's reunion. I started blushing, what's going on with me?
"N-No need to thank me, just call me Elizabeta" I stuttered surprisingly, usually I never stutter as much.
"But I must, as thanks for reuniting me and my baby brother" she insisted.
"Hmm, well you could do that performance I asked of, maybe even team with Roderich" I looked at them both. "You both love playing violin, so you should do it." They looked at each other and smiled.
"Like old times?" Roderich took Y/N's hand, she nodded. I start to feel another strange feeling deep inside my chest. Why am I like this? I should be happy for them, could this be what they call jealously?
"Like old times, dear brother." She said, they both walked out of the room, leaving me and Gilbert.
"Well, that was a thing" he said with hand behind his head.
"It sure was" I held my chest to find my heart beating a little faster than before.
'What is wrong with me today?' The question kept racing through my head,I stood there puzzling. Come to think of it, I've been acting like this when I first met Y/N. Could it be that I'm falling for a girl?
"Elizabeta? Are you okay?" Gilbert asked waving his hand in my face.
"Wha- Oh yeah I'm fine, just thinking of things" I snapped back to reality, he looked at me, confusion painted his face.
"Okay? Well let's go and get ready, the party begins in an hour" he informed.
"Let's go"
*****
*Y/N's POV*
More and more people come in for the party, and those people are countries of the world. I'm really a flustered mess when I talk to one, even to my own brother.
"This seems to be everyone." Roderich said walk up from behind me and holding his violin.
"Y-Yup" I gulped, I felt my knees tremble under fear, he place a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't be nervous, you've played in crowds before right?" He said.
"Y-Yeah, b-but these guys are c-countries, I never preformed infont of one, nor many" I said, feeling my teeth click with every word.
"Hey you'll be okay, think that you're playing to yourself" he gave me a warm smile, I smiled back and readied myself. We walked up on the small stage, conversations around the room ceased. My hands started shaking, but I took a deep breath to calm down. Roderich and I got ready and started to play. Spain started cheering. (A/N- Of course he would)
The fear and stress started fading faster, and faster when I started playing. I was now fully focused on the song and learned to have fun with it. Roderich and I started smiling and looking at each other while playing. People started dancing to the rhythm, I noticed Elizabeta staring at me. I smiled and winked, her blush was so cute.
De-spa-ci-to
We both ended, the crowd cheered. We stood up and bowed as a thank you.
*Gilbert's thoughts*
'Did she really just wink at my future wife?!' I thought running my finger through my awesome hair. I looked over to see Roderich lookong back in confusion. He must have been thinking the same thing too.
I looked over to Elizabeta, she was a blushing mess. If we don't hurry we might lose her.
*Hungary's POV*
'D-Did she really just w-wink at me?!' The thought raced in my mind. I play with my fingerss, nervous to even speak to her. The crowd stopped clapping and went back to talking in their groups, Austria and Y/N walked off stage.
Both of them walked to me, I gave them huge hugs.
"You both did so well!" I congratulate tightening my grip.
"We're glad you like it, Elizabeta" Y/N said and hugged me back with one arm. "Come on lets enjoy the party" I said and dragged them along to a bar.
*****
"Italy *hiccup* if you don't kiss meh, you'll run 10 laps around the *hiccup* world!" The now drunk Ludwig commanded.
"Pfft, haha! Come on brother you'll have to do *hiccup* better then that!" Gilbert slurred still hold his beer mug.
"Ehh!? Well I'd like to see you try, Prussia! *burp*" Germany raised his voice.
"Well then I will!" He looked at Austria and 'accidentally' tugged at his shirt to kiss him. Since Roderich was drunk he didn't seem to react and played along.
Germany reacted and spat out his beer in shock only to laugh. Y/N let out a snicker and then started to laugh. I'm surprised she isn't drunk.
"You don't drink?" I asked.
"No, the first time I ever did attempt to I almost threw up." She laughed, I giggled along with her. And then I started feeling the way I was before the party even started. Upbeat music began to play, the DJ has arrived and played songs that are popular now. Y/N swung off her stool and held her hand out.
"Would like to dance with me?" She said in a somewhat flirty tone. I took her hand to accept the offer. See her dance to the rhythm made me just stop and stare, good thing she didn't notice.
After a few minutes the song switched to a slow love song. Y/N took my hand blushing slightly.
"May I have this dance~?" She said.
"Yes you may" I said, she placed her hands on my waist, my arms found her neck.
We danced staring at each others eyes longingly and lovingly. I believe today is the day I confess this feeling I had when I first met her. The feeling I soon realized it was called love.
*****
*Roderich's POV*
After beating up Gilbert A numerous amount of times, I stood back up and dusted off my attire. Gilbert rose up only to do the same, and then we both noticed Elizabeta and my sister dancing. To a slow motion song!? We both looked at each other confused.
"Do you think?" I asked
"I dunno, maybe they are" he slurred. "But we have to hurry before she falls for her."
"I think she already has" I said solemnly, resting my chin in my fingers.
*****
We waited till the song was over, it soon replaced to an upbeat Christmas song. Tis the season after all. Gilbert and I moved to the dance floor, in search of Y/N and Elizabeta. They were no where to be found. We asked fellow countries if they've seen the two.
"Yeah they went outside" Francis said, messing around with the wine in his glass. He was sitting next to a strange man with blonde hair covering his left eye. (A/N- I wonder who that might be \*w*/?)
"Thanks" we said and headed out, I looked all around, no of two were in sight.
We started walking around the whole building, and once we turned the corner, we saw nothing but a rather heartbreaking sight. Y/N pinned Elizabeta to the wall, a mistletoe hung above their heads. I covered Gilbert's mouth to prevent him from disrupting them.
*Y/N's POV*
My eyes focused on her lips, I believe it's about time I confess.
"I-I'm so sorry, I just can't help myself" I said, she cupped my cheek.
"That's okay, I was about to give you something special anyway." She smirked.
"Oh? And what pretell may that be~?" I inched closer.
"I'll show you~" she said and pressed her warm lips against mine.
Like alcohol I was drunk under her kiss, and feeling her warm body against me. Our hands found each others bodies. Curious, I start feeling the curves of her well-shaped form. I then focused on our kiss and depend it by pushing my tongue into her mouth. A faint moan escaped her mouth and she tighten her grip on my arms, pulling fabric into her hands.
Well pulled back, our saliva stream now visible to us. Air filled in and out of my body, I started breathing back to my normal state.
"I honestly thought you liked my brother, or his friend" I said, she shook her head.
"It was only you that I've fallen for~" she said caressing my face, I did the same to her hair. "I was confused at first when I first saw you, now I know what this feeling is."
"I love you, Y/N" she said lovingly, I kissed her hand.
"I love you too, Elizabeta~"
