So it’s been a couple of days since we played never have I ever and spin the bottle, because we managed to film the video for wild heart in a day we got a couple of days of but now it’s back to work as tonight is the opening night of the vamps US mini tour which I was their opening act for I mean it was great to be given an the opportunity to have a go at the music business as well as acting, but I just don’t think I will be good enough the boys are all amazing musicians and I just don’t think I will ever be close to being half as good as them, anyway enough o me moaning and feeling sorry myself I better get figuring out my set list Joe said the I could play about 3 or 4 songs which I think is quite a lot considering I only thought I had to play one song.
I have probably been sitting here for roughly and hour now and I have only just finished my set list I couldn’t think of the songs that I wanted to play; also I ended up deciding to do one different song each night. I walked out of my room to go and find Joe and just check that my idea and set list were okay, I then made my way to Joes room where the boys where planning their set list I think they are doing about 10 songs, when I arrived in front of Joes room I knocked a little rhythm on the door a couple of seconds later a mop of brown curly hair appeared round the door
“Oh hey Lauren, you finished your set list yet” Brad asked smiling as he opened the door further and let me in
“Yep only just, I came around to just check it with Joe” Brad nodded as we walked into the main part of the room Joe and the rest of the boys where sitting of the couches I handed the list to Joe which he then glanced over and gave me a nod to say the it was fine. I got my phone out my back pocket and messaged my mum and my best friends back home, then afterwards I decided to check my twitter I had a couple of new followers so followed them back and then scrolled through my twitter feed before posting a tweet

Within a couple of minutes I had a couple of likes and a retweet from the vamps band account and each of the boys personals as well, I then went back to scrolling through twitter because I had nothing else to do before I had to get ready for the concert.
Tristan's POV
I was fed up of trying to work out the set list by now Lauren already had hers worked out and we only had a couple more songs to figure out than her so I don’t know why it is taking us so long.
I have this feeling that Lauren thinks I don’t like her but I don’t not like her it the opposite actually but it’s just in know that James has a thing for her as well and there is obviously something going on between them and who is it for me to break them up just so that I could have a chance with her, maybe we would be better off as friends any way I heard someone calling my name which brought me back to reality
“Tris, what do you say? I think we should play last night, wild heart, can we dance, girls on tv, another world and a couple of covers like that girl by Mcfly, Mr Brightside by The Killers and let her go by passenger but probably not in that order” Brad said
“Yep that sounds good if we all agree on those songs then I think we should do them” I said
It took Joe, Brad and James about 15 minutes to figure out the order tat we were going to play the songs in
"Right lads and Lauren there is an hour before we need to be at the Roxy so I suggest you get ready and we meet in the lobby in 45 minutes" Joe said and then we all went our separate ways.
Lauren's POV
I had already packed my bags because after the show we would be getting on the tour bus and then traveling over night to San Francisco, I picked out the outfit I wanted to wear for the gig(outfit in link)then hopped in the shower to wash my hair afterwards I quickly chucked on my outfit, did a dark smokey eye then blow dried my hair and pinned two sections back and left the rest down, I checked the clock on the wall and saw I had 5 minutes to be down in the lobby, so I quickly zipped up my suitcase, picked it up and then walked out of my hotel room.
I was down stairs in the lobby wit Joe, Connor and Brad, we were waiting on James and Tristan
"Where are they, James is usually on time or early, I would expect this from Tris but not James" Joe said panicking as we were going to be late for sound check just then Tristan and James ran out of the elevator carrying their bags
"Where have you been?"
"Well Joe, because Tris chucked his clothes all over the floor on the first day and when he was packing he couldn't find his leopard print vans so we had to search the room until we found them under the bed" James said out of breath
"Right well we need to get a move on" Joe insisted. we all made our way out to a giant bus that was waiting outside for us, in the bus was a small but modern kitchen with an alcove with a table and seating so that we could eat there and further back was the bunks there were three bunks on each side then upstairs was the bathroom with a small shower in and also a games/lounge at the back of the bus finally there was a small room with two chairs where you could sit and look out the big glass window at the front of the bus. We each put our cases on a bunk, I was in the middle bunk on the right, Tristan was in the bunk opposite me James above him and Brad was on the bottom bunk then above me was Connor and below me was a spare bunk for bags and stuff. I used the short time we had on the bus to quickly tune up my guitar. Soon enough we were at the venue, like most people I was absolutely shitting myself and imagining all these different scenarios where things go wrong for me, I just hope they don’t come true.
Once my sound check was over I went to the dressing room to relax before I went on stage in 2 hours time, currently the vamps were doing their sound check so I was on my own for now, I decided to strum a few chords and quietly hum a little tune to myself just keep me entertained.
*2 hours later*
I was nervous about performing in a couple of minutes I could hear all the vampettes screaming, I was just finishing off my vocal warm ups I think James could tell I was slightly scared because he came over and wrapped his arms around me then bent down slightly to whisper
“You’ll be great” into my ear this made me relax a bit before I went on stage
“Good luck” all the boys shouted after me as I exited the dressing room an walked to the stage I picked up my guitar off its stand at the side of the stage, then walked on, the crowd was quite quiet I could her a few people talking about the vamps and others on their phones, I started to tense up but I felt relieved when I heard some voice scream “We love you Lauren” I walked over to the centre of the stage and said

When the song had finished the crowd was silent for a while which made me start to panic but then they started to clap and cheer, it was amazing but should I give up on my career as an actress for this? When I finished my set I said my thank you’s to the crowd then walked of stage where I was faced by Tristan, Connor, James and Brad they each hugged me and congratulated me on my first of many shows.
Sorry I have taken so long to update I have had a load of exams but they are all over now so hopefully I will be able to update soon.
