Sonias POV
I woke up about an hour ago and got dressed. I wore a long dress and underneath I had my bathing suit on.
We're currently at the dock waiting for the boat Sam had booked for us to be ready for us to take out. We both got in and I stepped up the stairs that led to the front of the boat and Sam followed. The boat was big enough, it had a downstairs that had one bedroom and a decent-sized lounge area. Upstairs was a little smaller but perfect for watching the water from.
The view from here was amazing I'm still taking in how beautiful this island is. I can't believe my parents never took me here. They've managed to take me to many places as a kid but none like this.

We spent hours on the boat, touring around the whole island. Which was amazing, this is honestly is quite a trip to remember. Plus side, Sam and I actually had a decent conversation, that ended up in an argument. Still counts, if you ask me.
As the day got shorter, the sunset looked amazing. You could see the reflection of the sun blending with the sky making it look absolutely beautiful. I could stay here forever if it was up to me, away from everything on this beautiful island, with this breathtaking view.
"We should head back, it's getting dark," I tell Sam when I noticed the sky getting darker.
He agrees and walks toward the stairs "I'll go tell the captain"
I spot a boat not far from ours. A familiar person on the boat- OH SHIT. I immediately jump up when I realize.
"SAMUEL WHAT IS THE CAPTAIN DOING OFF THE BOAT!" I yell for him to hear, and I see him run back up to my side.
"WHAT HELL IS THE CAPTAIN DOING OVER THERE," I say pointing at the boat.
"I DONT KNOW! I DONT UNDERSTAND I-" he stopped talking trying to figure out what was happening.
"Do you smell that?" He asks.
"What? Smell what?" I ask. Is he crazy? We're stranded on this boat with no captain. And to top it off it's getting dark!
"No, that smell? It smells like gasoline-" he stopped talking his face turned completely red.
"We need to get off this boat right now!!" He yells
I'm so confused and now he's scaring me.
"What? Why? No, we can't!!" I yell if he means to jump, hell no! I can't even swim.
"Sonia listen to me this boat will blow up any second now! I will keep driving it so when we jump, The blast is away from us and won't harm us!" He says looking at me straight in the eye. He's nuts. No way I'm jumping off.
I saw Sam going down the stair towards the control room and I followed.
"What do you mean it's going to blow!" He sped the boat closer to the island but far enough so it speeds off on its own the other way. Then we both went back upstairs to the deck. I had no idea what was going on whatsoever.
"Now we jump! Take my hand, Sonia!" He yells.
"No I'm not doing this I can't swim no I'm not-"
"Sonia, don't worry I got you. I won't let go of you just take my hand" Sam shouts through the loud sounds of the waves.
I wasn't going to stay on this boat and die. I took his hand and we both jumped into the water. I closed my eyes and held my breath. I felt something pull me back up to the surface and I grabbed onto Sam tightly.
"Don't worry we're safe now" we both looked in the direction the boat was heading. The boat just kept going away from us and boom a loud bang sound came from the boat setting the whole thing on fire. The fire spread everywhere, I was in shock accidentally letting go of Sam for a second but he immediately grabbed me and pulled me closer, I wrap my legs around his waist. So I don't drown.
"Why the hell would he want to hurt us!" I say bitterly
"Your husband is a multi-billionaire there are people out there wanting to kill me" I look at him, is he kidding me right now! I didn't know any of this!
"Which means they'd want me dead too! Great just great!" I huff.
"There's nothing to worry about as soon as we get back I'll get my men on it they'll find out right away," he says
"Because that'll calm me! Can we please swim to the island before sharks eat us" I say while looking around me in the water.
He laughs and nods his head "Of course"

It was dark and cold, I felt disgusting and my whole body felt numb from being in the water for too long and may I add I don't know how to swim so I was doggy paddling all the way to this tiny island. My whole body ached in pain.
Sam gathered a bunch of branches I doubt he knows how to light a fire, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a little piece of paper then a lighter. He lights up the paper and throws it at the branches.
"You smoke?" I curiously ask.
"No I do not," He says not looking away from the fire.
"So you just happen to have a lighter with you" I look at him knotting my brows. He looks up at me.
"Yes. Is there a problem? Why do you keep asking questions" He replies clearly getting annoyed of me.
"Are you really asking that! Look around you! You tell me if there's a problem, god knows what comes out at night here! Somethings going to kill us and-" he cuts me off
"You need to calm down," he says approaching me.
"I'm with you, I won't let anything harm you, I promise" He adds. His words made me calm down just a little and I didn't want to argue again, I had no strength left in me. We both lay by the fire. I heard something and immediately got up and went to sleep beside him.
"Couldn't resist huh." I could feel him smirking.
"You wish, this way you get eaten if anything attacks" He chuckles then turns his body towards me.
He looks down at me. Then embraces me. I was a little shocked by his actions, but let it be. I felt secure in his arms. I rest my head on his chest and shut my eyes.
*Next day*
I woke up with sand in my mouth and ears. I quickly got up and shook the sand off my body, spat out the sand in my mouth.
I hear Sam growl from behind I turn around and watch him get up. "Good Morning," he says in his usual raspy morning voice.
"What's so good about this morning! We're stranded on this stupid Island and I'm hungry, dirty and there's sand everywhere like EVERYWHERE!" I say out of breath.
This whole trip sucks! It was nice in the beginning but now it entirely sucks! Absolutely regret coming.
"Calm down people are probably looking for us, bodyguards are probably suspicious as to why we did show up, a search party is probably out right now looking for us. All we gotta do is stay put and wait" He says as if this has happened before and it's totally cool.
"Stay calm?! And what if they aren't looking for us? We'll die here from starvation or something will eat us both!" I say panicking.
"You're surrounded by water, go wash off the sand and dirt, I'm pretty sure it's clean," he says with a grin on his face.
"You want me to get in there wash off the nasty stuff on my body then drink it right after! Disgusting." He starts to laugh hard. I throw a pair of my sandal at him. He thinks this is a joke. I can't take this.
I growl then walk towards the water. Luckily I wore a bathing suit underneath, So I was good. I step into the water and sat in it, the water was a little chilly at first but got warmer. I hear slashing sounds and Samuel appeared and sat right beside me. His shirt was off, So I had a clear view of his masterpiece of a body. I look the other way before he catches me staring. I realized how calm this made me feel. The clear blue water surrounding me. The water hitting my body made my nerves relaxed.
I close my eyes just for a second forgetting about all of this mess we're consistently in.
"There's our ride," Sam says from beside me and I immediately open my eyes.
"See I told you they'll be coming" I look to where he was pointing, three huge boats were heading our way. I quickly jumped up.
"How did they find us? Wow, you must really be important." I mumbled.

Sam I got on the plane to get back home he said it wasn't safe to travel anywhere else so that was the end of our perfect honeymoon.
After a ten-hour flight, we had finally reached home. I was exhausted wanting to go to bed. I walked up to our room and didn't bother to change, I immediately crawl into bed.
Samuel was in his study room dealing with the incident that had happened during the honeymoon. Every time I've asked him why it had happened he only says one thing, that he's important and that some people out there want to harm him. I gave up asking any more questions about it, acted as if it never happened.
I sat on the bed trying to tie my hair up in a loose ponytail, and Samuel walks into the room doesn't say anything just takes his shirt off and crawls into bed next to me. I slide down and lay in bed, I switched the lights off and turned around to face Samuels's direction, He was still sitting up with his laptop on his lap, started typing.
I shut my eyes.
