I woke up, from yelling down stairs. I walked over to my door and opened it a little.
"Seth! Just get out!"
"No, this is my house too!"
"You're to angry to think, just leave!"
"Fine!"
I then heard the door slam, it also shook the house a little. I walked down stairs and saw mom sitting on the couch, crying.
"Hey, mom"
"Oh, hey, sweetie"
"What was that about?"
"Oh, just stuff with your father."
"Is it ok if I know what about?"
She sighed and looked at me, "It was about Bret, he still doesn't trust her very much."
My heart felt like it shattered. How could he not trust Bret?
"Well, just try to forget about him and remember we all trust Bret, no matter what he says"
I looked at my mom and started to feel horrible, 1) because my father doesn't even trust my girlfriend 2) because I could just empithize with how my mother was feeling.
I then saw a small mark on her cheek.
"Mother, don't let him hit you, please."
"I won't, you should just get ready for school."
I nodded and walked up stairs, all my siblings were in the hall looking at me. They knew how I could empitize with my mother and didn't want to say anything to make it worse.
We got to school and I saw Bret sitting by the door. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Of course, she noticed how I was acting and looked at me with wondering, questioning eyes.
The bell rang I went to go to class. As I was walking down the hall I felt a hand snake it's way around my waist and I looked over at Bret. She was looking at me with soft eyes, and I felt a little better.
Bret didn't really talk to me in first period because she didn't know what was wrong, and didn't want to upset me.
*Time skip*
I was walking to lunch thinking, "Is mom ok, did Seth come back, what will I find when I get home?"
I got to the table and all my siblings could tell I was think, Felix knew what I was thinking about. Bret was sitting next to me. Since she wasn't eating I leaned over and put my head on her shoulder, I felt her hand come around my lower back to my lap, I grabbed her hand and held it. She then leaned her head on mine.
All my siblings looked at each other then at Felix. He looked at me then nodded. I knew he had read my mind and found out me and Bret were dating.
Lunch was finally over and Bret let me go and we all went to class.
*Time skip*
It was finally time to go home. I wanted to get home so bad that I didn't wait on my siblings to get outside, or Bret.
I got home and ran inside.
"Mom?"
"Yes, Ali?"
"Are you ok?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?"
"I just thought maybe Seth would have come back and hurt you."
"No he's been gone all day."
"Ok, then I'm going up stairs to start on my homework."
"Ok."
I went up stairs and started on my homework when Vickie came in and sat on my bed.
"So, this is were you were?"
"Ya, I left early, sorry."
"You shouldn't be saying sorry to me. You're girlfriend was so worried then she couldn't find you anywhere."
"Oh, I should apologize."
"Ya, a relationship is a 2 sided deal, just remember that."
"Ok, I will."
Vickie then left my room. A few minutes later I heard the window open.
"This is were you are."
I turned around and saw Bret.
"Ya, sorry about leaving, I was worried about mom."
Bret came over and hugged me and I hugged her back.
"It's ok, I was just worried and wanted to know what was wrong."
"Well, now you know."
"Yep, and I'm here if you need me." Bret then kissed my cheek.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
I then grabbed Bret's face and pulled it to mine. She leaned into the kiss and my heart started pounding, I thought it would burst out of my chest.
We then heard a knock on the door, and Jake came in.
"Stop making out and come tell mom about you two."
We were both blushing. I followed Jake out of the room, holding Bret's hand.
"Oh, Bret? I didn't know you were here."
"Ya, it's nice to see you."
"Nice to see you too."
"So mother Ali has something to tell you."
My mom looked at me and Bret, with an intrigued but confused face.
"Ok, mom. Me and Bret are...d-dating."
My mom jumped up and came and hugged me.
"That's great!"
She then looked at my siblings then to me and Bret.
"Finally, too!"
We all started laughing.
"Well, I'll go get you something to eat."
Mom then walked into the kitchen.
"We totally agree with mom. Finally!" Felix yelled
Vickie came over and side hugged me and Jake started giving Bret a noggy, which she pulled out of.
Bret went and ate the food, all of it.
"Well, I still need to finish my homework."
"Ok, let's go"
Bret and me ran upstairs and started my homework.
We finished a few minutes later.
"Well, I guess I'll be leaving."
Bret was about to the door when I grabbed her and spun her around. I locked our lips together for a few moments.
"You could stay the night."
"O-ok"
We started kissing again, I could feel my heart pounding, mine and Bret's faces heating up. Bret flipped us around and I put my arms on her neck and she put her hands on my hips. I was about to wrap my legs around Bret's waist when a knock on the door stopped me.
Bret pulled away from me and I opened the door and saw Vickie standing there.
"Stop making out with Bret and get in the shower."
Vickie looked back at Bret and she put her head down, blushing bright red.
"Ok."
I then left and closed the door.
I got out of the shower a few minutes later and started thinking about what I wanted to do with Bret. Felix walked past and looked at me then stopped with a disgusted face.
"You're so dirty!"
"Then stay out of my head!"
"Just don't do that with Bret while I'm home."
I then grabbed my hairbrush and threw it at him. He ran down the hall, into his room.
I went back to my room and Bret was on my bed, smirking at me.
"So, what do you want to do with me?"
I started blushing and pushed Bret over.
"Nothing."
"Oh, so that reaction is nothing is it."
Bret started spooning me and whispering in my ear. I pushed her back.
"Ya, that's nothing and stop before I make you sleep on the floor."
"Ok, miss crabby pants."
We then went to bed and my heart was pounding, my face was burning, and I had butterflies in my stomach.
