I woke up and felt strong arms around my waist. I smiled and snuggled closer to my mate.
I hope Terrence didn't scare James too much last night. James. Sofia. My eyes popped open as I remembered I was suppose to ask if James's mate Sofia could come stay with us.
I sat up quickly and the covers fell off of me revealing my bare legs. That was when all the memories from last night flooded into my head. Terrence had marked me and claimed me.
I felt Terrence's grip tighten around my waist as he moaned.
"Makeena." he groaned.
"What?" I asked looking at him. He opened one of his eyes to look at me.
"Go back to sleep, I'm tired." he said shutting his eye. I looked at the clock and it was 8:15 a.m.
"Well I'm awake." I said.
"Look if your not going to go to sleep then leave so I can." he said grunting. Hurt flashed across my face and my wolf whimpered. He wanted me to leave? No he's just tired and wants to go back to sleep.
I bit my lip. I quickly removed his arm from around my waist and got off the bed.
"Makeena? " I heard Terrence ask. I looked up to see him in a sitting position, his eyes wide.
"What?" I snapped walking over to my pile of clothes.
"What are you doing?" he asked. My mate was seriously a little slow.
"I'm leaving so you can sleep." I stated simply grabbing my pair of jeans from the pile of clothes.
I heard him get out of the bed but kept my back turned to him. I felt his arms wrap around my waist, and tried to ignore the tingles. He started to pull me towards the bed but I stayed put.
"Makeena come back to bed." he whined. I turned around to face him.
"But you said to leave so you-" I was cut off by him smashing his lips to mine. I was momentarily shocked, but quickly recovered. Our lips danced together in sync. I gasped as his hands went lower and grabbed my butt. Heat traveled throughout my body. I broke away to fill my lungs, and received a growl of protest from him.
"I'm sorry I said for you to leave, I was just tired." he said leaning his forehead against mine. I smiled up at him.
"It's okay." I said. He grabbed my hand and tugged me towards the bed.
"Terrence, I uh, I need to talk to you about something." I said as we settled back into the bed. He looked over at me.
"What is it gorgeous? " he asked. His use of the word gorgeous made me tingle.
"It's about James." I said. His eyes narrowed.
"Did he hurt you? Did he touch you? Because if he did I'll kill that little dipshit." he growled.
"No, nothing like that." I quickly said shaking my head. He relaxed.
"Well then what is it?" he asked.
"Like I said James has a mate, but his mate is staying at some hotel." I said my eyes pleading.
He looked at me. "So you want to know if she can stay with us." he stated more than asked. I nodded my head. He sighed and looked over at me.
"Oh okay she can stay." he said. I beamed up at him. I had to go tell James. I jumped out of bed and rushed to the door. I had to change my clothes first.
"Where are you going?" Terrence asked.
"To tell James the news." I exclaimed before running to my room. I changed out of his shirt and into a pair of black jeans and a green shirt.
I rushed to the stairs.
"I'm coming with you." Terrence said walking out of his room while buttoning his jeans. I just nodded before descending the stairs and running to James's room. I knocked twice before he answered.
"I have news, and it's good." I said smiling. His hair was all messy from sleep.
"What?" he said raising his eyebrows.
"Sofia can come and stay with us." I said. His whole face lit up as he smiled.
"Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" he said hugging me. I heard Terrence growl and he quickly released me.
"I'll go tell her." he said walking towards the door.
"How are you going to get there?" Terrence asked.
"I have a car." he said smiling as he rushed out of the house still in basketball shorts and a loose tee shirt.

~Makeena~
I was currently waiting in the living room for James and his mate Sofia to arrive. I hope she's nice. It would be great to have a girl around to talk to.
The sound of a car pulling up made me jump to my feet. They were here. I smelt a new scent. It smelt a little like James.
The door opened to reveal James and a very pretty girl next to him. She had long wavy dark black hair and light hazel eyes. Her skin was tanned from the sun and she was about an inch taller than I was.
"Hi I'm Sofia." she said smiling.
"I'm Makeena, it's so nice to meet you." I said returning the smile while shaking her outstretched hand.
So far she seemed really nice. She pulled back to pick up her bags but was quickly stopped by James.
"I'll get the bags Sofia." he said smiling at her. She just nodded and returned his smile. He grabbed her suitcase and her Duffel bag before heading towards their room.
"He thinks I'm going to break if I do anything that involves work." she said shaking her head as she walked past me. I smiled. Mates were way too overprotective.
I looked over at Terrence and gave him a big smile, then I winked at him. I heard him chuckle before I turned around to head to my room.
"Where to you think your going?" I heard Terrence ask as he wrapped his hands around my waist.
"This place called nonya." I said wiggling out of his grasp. I started up the stairs but stopped abruptly when I felt a strong hand wrap around my wrist.
"No seriously where are you going?" Terrence asked. I smiled before turning around to face him.
"My room Mr.Snoop." I said trying to pull my hand out of his grip.
"Oh yea about that, I had your room cleared out." he said. My eyes widened in horror. He did what? Did he want me to leave?
"W-Why?" I exclaimed.
"My brother and his mate is coming to visit and they need a place to stay." he said casually. What? He had like over five bedrooms in his house, why did he have to clear mine?
"So where exactly am I suppose to stay?" I exclaimed.
"With your hot and sexy mate." Terrence said getting closer to me.
"I had all your stuff put in my room." he continued. I smiled up at him. He definitely wasn't going to kick me out. I watched as he leaned down and closed his eyes. I leaned back and ducked his kiss, earning a growl from him.
"That was for clearing out my room without telling me." I said poking him in the chest. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him down before I kissed him hard.
"And that was for nothing at all." I said smiling up at him. He raised an eyebrow before shrugging.
"So your brother is coming over?" I asked. He nodded.
"I didn't even know you had a brother." I said.
"Well I was going to tell you but then the whole Sofia thing happened and I totally forgot." he said.
"So when will he be here?" I asked.
"Tomorrow afternoon." he answered. My eyes widened. That wasn't very long from now.
"Oh." I answered. He kissed me om the forehead before grabbing my hand leading me up to our room.
"Okay, so your clothes are in the first two drawers." Terrence said pointing his finger towards his oak dresser. I nodded and smiled up at him.
"Thanks." I said. He looked down at me and smiled. He wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me around to face him.
"You know I love you, right?" he asked his eyes searching my face.
"Yea I know, and I love you too." I said.
"Is everything okay?" I asked. He looked at me.
"Yea everything is fine." he answered kissing my lips for a second before pulling away.
"So you never told me if you had any siblings." he said guiding me to his bed. We sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Well I don't have any siblings." I said looking out the window. Terrence grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly.
"Do you want to help me get the things we are going to need?" he asked. I nodded my head.
"Okay we are going to have to go to the store and buy a few things." he said.
"What kind of things?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Things like beer." he said. "And you can't have any because your only eighteen." he said sternly. I rolled my eyes.
"Yea, okay dad." I said smiling up at him. He rolled his eyes before waking to the door.
"Come on lets go." he said holding out his hand. I grabbed it willingly. That was when I realized this would be the first time I went to town since I had gotten here. It would be the first time I had even left this house. I took a deep breath before we walked out of our room and down the stairs. Well here goes nothing.
