Taylor's POV

Everyone cleared out around 2 am and I was left to clean up with my friends.

"Has anyone seen Kaitlyn?" I asked, closing the door behind the last person.

I noticed Hailee and Karlie look at each other before Hailee spoke, "I think I saw her go into her room a little while ago."

"I'm going to go check on her, can you guys please start cleaning up?" I said.

"Yeah," they all replied.

I walked up the stairs rather quickly and walked down the hall to my sister's room. I quietly opened the door a crack and looked inside. I heard Kaitlyn's soft snores and smiled. She always was the first one to fall asleep. I slipped into the room and walked over to where she was lying on the bed still in her dress with the blankets carelessly thrown over her. I bent down next to her bed and only then did I see the box of tissues and the dirty ones lying all around her. I brushed her hair out of her face and noticed how red her eyes were. My heart broke at the sight of her and I quickly fixed her blankets and kissed her forehead softly before walking out and closing the door. I walked down the stairs lost in my thoughts and ended up accidentally walking straight into Harry.

"Sorry," I said, snapping back to reality.

"What's wrong love?" Harry asked in his cute accent.

"Nothing, where's Hailee?" I asked, shaking him off.

"Right here!" Hailee called out from the kitchen.

"Hails, be quiet and come here," I said, shushing her.

"Why?" The teen asked, walking over to me.

"I need to talk to you," I said seriously.

"Okay?" She said questioningly.

I led her into the studio room and shut the door.

"Please don't kick me out of the squad!" Hailee blurted out worriedly.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing, what do you need to talk to me about?" Hailee asked.

"Kaitlyn," I said and her face fell.

"Wh-what about Kaitlyn?" Hailee stuttered, looking at her feet.

"What's going on with her?" I asked.

"I-I don't know. What makes you think I know?" She said, watching her feet shuffle.

"Hailee I know you're lying, you're her best friend, what's wrong with her? Why is she asleep in her dress with red eyes and surrounded by used tissues?" I asked seriously.

"I can't tell you Taylor, she'll tell you tomorrow," Hailee said, looking into my eyes apologetically.

"Why not?" I asked.

"She asked me not to, and like you said, she's my best friend. She'll tell you when she's ready," Hailee said, smiling sympathetically at me.

"Okay," I sighed.

"Sorry Tay," Hailee said.

"It's alright," I said as we started to walk out the door. "Why would I kick you out of the squad?"

"I don't know, because I'm too young or something," Hailee shrugged.

"You're my little sister's best friend I couldn't kick you out even if I tried. You're like a bad song that gets stuck in your head and you just can't get it out," I explained.

"Hey!" Hailee said, playfully hitting my arm.

"I'm kidding," I laughed. "Not really." I mumbled under my breath just loud enough for Karlie, who I was passing, to hear and start laughing.

"What?" Hailee whined.

"Nothing my child," I smiled, cupping my hand under her chin.

Hailee made a pouty face and I squeezed her cheeks together.

"I babysat Kaitlyn and Austin for years; it takes a lot more than a pouty face to get to me," I smiled.

Hailee's face fell as I let go of her chin and grabbed a wipe to clean off the table.

"Can I go to bed?" Hailee asked, yawning.

"Sure kiddo," I laughed at her childness.

"Cool," she said, running up the stairs to the guest room.

"Hailee I'm sharing that bed with you!" Karlie said, to Hailee.

"No! You're too tall! You take up too much room," Hailee whined.

"Girls, quiet Kaitlyn's asleep!" I scolded them.

"Sorry mom!" Hailee said, using the name she and Kaitlyn give me when I 'mom' them. I don't even know.

"Quiet little one," I said, using my baby nickname for her.

"Everything looks clean around here so I'm going to head to bed too before Hailee takes up the whole bed with her small body," Karlie said, heading up the stairs.

"Okay," I said.

"I should head home," Harry said.

"Wait, it's kind of late, why don't you stay over?" I offered.

"Where am I going to sleep? Your guest room is full and so is the couch," Harry said, motioning to Selena who's already asleep on the couch.

"My room's got some extra space," I said quietly.

He raised his eyebrows at me, "Are you sure?"

"We're not going to do anything, but it's safer than you driving through New York at this hour," I told him.

"Alright," he said.

"Let's go," I said, turning off the lights before leading Harry to my room.

I grabbed my pajamas and changed in the bathroom, taking off all of my makeup and brushing my hair out. I walked back into my room and my eyes widened in the sight of Harry in only an undershirt and boxers.

"You're staring love," Harry smiled, seeing me in the mirror's reflection.

"Sorry," I said awkwardly, before climbing into my bed.

Harry climbed in next to me and I shivered from the cold.

"Cold?" Harry asked.

"Yeah," I shivered, bringing the blankets closer to my body.

"I'll handle this," Harry smiled. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest. I felt the good kind of shivers go through my body and I warmed up from his body heat.

We fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms but I still couldn't help but wonder what was going on with Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn's POV

"Kaitlyn, it's time to get up," someone said, stroking my hair.

I groaned and rolled over to the other side.

"Kait come on it's already 11," they said again.

"Go away," I complained.

"Come on babe you got to get up, we need to talk," they said again.

I forced my eyes to open, but shut them due to the intense burning. I rubbed my eyes and opened them again but they still burned. Shoot, I left my contacts in last night.

"Kait please get out of bed," I heard from behind me and I rolled over to be face to face with my sister.

"Tay, I'm tired," I said, dragging out the 'i'.

"Kaitlyn come on, we need to talk," Taylor pushed.

"About what?" I asked.

She was about to answer when someone called to her from downstairs.

"What!" Taylor yelled back.

"I need your help now!" They yelled back.

Taylor groaned and left the room.

"Kaitlyn you better be out of bed when I get back!" Taylor told me.

I slowly moved out from under my warm blankets and felt the cold winter air on my skin even though I was inside.

I walked into the bathroom already dreading what I was about to do.

I grabbed my contact solution from the cabinet along with my contact container and put it on the counter. I opened my eyelids and grabbed the dry contact that was stuck to my eyeball. I peeled it off and put it in the container that was filled with fresh contact solution. I did the same with the other eye before grabbing my glasses and throwing them on. I walked to my closet and took of last night's dress before grabbing some leggings and a t-shirt. I changed into those before grabbing an oversized sweater and some fuzzy socks for warmth. I brushed my teeth and threw my hair into a messy ponytail before heading downstairs. I saw Hailee and Karlie talking to Taylor in the kitchen and Harry sitting on the couch watching tv. I plopped down next to my sister's boyfriend and he jumped.

"Did I scare you?" I laughed.

"No," he lied.

"Did you stay over?" I asked.

He nodded and my eyes widened.

"Ew did you guys-"

"No," Taylor said, walking into the room with Hailee and Karlie trailing.

"Good," I said as Taylor sat in between me and Harry on the couch.

"That's disgusting," Hailee said, crinkling her nose.

"Way to go guys, you ruined Hailee's innocence," Karlie said as Hailee sat next to me.

"What innocence?" I asked.

"Yeah really, what innocence?" Hailee asked.

"Children!" Karlie yelled irritatedly.

"Mother!" Hailee and I chorused.

"Is this some secret girl code or something?" Harry asked, looking between the three of us and Taylor who was hysterically laughing at the whole situation.

"No babe," Taylor said, laying her hand on Harry's chest.

"Ew, get a room," Karlie said, jokingly covering Hailee's eyes as Harry bent down and kissed Taylor passionately.

"What! I wanna see!" Hailee said childishly.

"See what? This..." Taylor said, kissing Harry again.

"Ew Taylor there are children present," Karlie said, covering my eyes this time.

I heard Taylor giggle and Karlie fake gag as I'm sure Harry and Taylor kissed again.

"What is going on!" Hailee yelled.

"Tis better if you don't know my child," Karlie said.

"We're done, we're done," Taylor giggled.

"Aww," Harry whined as Karlie took her hands off of mine and Hailee's eyes.

"Can you guys give Kaitlyn and I a minute please," Taylor said to Harry and the girls.

"Sure," Hailee and Karlie agreed, obviously knowing what Taylor needed privacy for.

"Why?" Harry asked stupidly.

"Get up," Karlie said as she and Hailee pulled Harry into the kitchen quietly explaining something to him.

"What's up?" I asked Taylor.

"What happened last night?" She asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, honestly confused.

"Why were you crying?" She asked softly.

"Oh," I said, my face falling at the memory of last night.

"What?" Taylor asked, scooting closet to me.

"I don't really want to talk about it, Logan's a douche but I'm fine," I said.

"You're fine?" Taylor asked, shocked.

"Yeah, I mean I wasn't last night, but I guess a part of me knew this wasn't going to end well so I'm fine now," I explained.

"Wow," Taylor commented. "Can you tell me what happened?"

"He cheated on me and said some mean stuff and I kicked him out last night," I explained.

"Why didn't you come to me last night?" Taylor asked sadly.

"I didn't want to ruin your night so I just went up to my room by myself and Karlie and Hailee found me there," I said honestly.

"Next time, please come to me when this happens. I don't care where or when it is; I'm your sister, I'm always here for you," Taylor said, pulling me into a hug.

"Aw."

Taylor and I turned around to see Karlie, Hailee, and even Harry awing at us from the kitchen. Taylor and I giggled to each other as Karlie and Hailee gave Harry weird looks.

I love these people.
