"Lapis would you go with me at my cousin's engagement party?" I asked lapis almost yelling it "why me? I mean i would like to but why me of all people?" She was right why her? "Ruby is inviting sapphire and i thought it would be cool....to have you too...." I smiled at her and she smiled back but that smile turned into a sad look
Peridot: w-what happened d-did i messed up?
Lapis: no is that you said ruby invited sapphire but i don't think she will come
Peridot: why?
Lapis: Esmeralda won't let that happen she will probably lock sapphire in her room
Peridot: but why?
Lapis: Esmeralda would do anything just to get royal attention and privileges even...kill..
Peridot: explain yourself
Lapis: Esmeralda is an assassin she killed just to get the frost name
Peridot: isn't frost the loved Knight of my father that suddenly died along with his wife?
Lapis: yea but he never died it's all Esmeralda's doing

Lapis: Esmeralda was a close friend of Sophia brown Sapphire's mother they were the best of friends and they wouldn't live each other's backs but when romeo sapphire's dad came in town they fell for him they would try heaven and earth to get his attention romeo got attracted to Sophia and became her friend but that meant becoming friends with Esmeralda and so it was they became friends time flew by and romeo loved Sophia he wanted her as his wife so he asked her to marry him the answer of course was yes but Esmeralda inside thought otherwise so she stayed patient and let them live for a while romeo became royal Knight and best friend of your father but when romeo got home from duty he got the beautiful news of becoming father they couldn't wait for sapphire to come months later sapphire was born and everyone was happy except Esmeralda she wanted romeo as much as she wanted Sophie and sapphire dead so she killed Sophie while she was shopping and romeo was home playing with sapphire when the news reached romeo he was devastated he became depressed he couldn't grew sapphire alone so he waited and waiter for his heart to choose from one of the women in town he only knew Esmeralda that had a daughter and her husband died so he decided to get a sister and a mother for sapphire but he was doing the worst mistake ever Esmeralda abused sapphire since then cause she reminded her of Sophie Romeo found out about it and tried divorcing but before he could do anything Esmeralda
Poisoned him and told the king he died randomly.
Peridot: why didn't you tell the king?
Lapis: because she would have hunted me and my sister down or even worst kill us...
Peridot: I'll make her pay for all of what she has been causing to sapphire and you will be safe i promise i won't let anyone hurt you.... I promise
