Party Hold

I yawned loudly, blinking at the bright sun that was invading my room. It would have been nice if it was still night and not a time full of light burning my eyes but at least it was warm. A lot of the warmness came from Thorin's arms as they were wrapped around my torso. Taking a deep breath, making sure that I was alive, I turned around to meet with almost black eyes looking at me.

"'Mornin." Thorin yawned, pulling me closer to his bare chest.

"Hey." I would have given him a little awkward wave hadn't my arms been smashed against Thorin. But I wasn't complaining because I was comfortable. I wasn't just comfortable because my bed is one of the best things in my life, but because my body was held by the arms that I never wanted to let go. Plus the arms were warm themselves.

A sweet smile was both on my lips and also Thorin's while we looked at each other. I broke eye contact because of the little piece of hair that invaded my face, forcing me to eye it while trying to blow it away. Of course, it didn't work and I didn't really want to squirm myself out of the hold I was in. Thorin chuckled while taking one of his large hands and gently tucked it underneath my hair.

"Are you alright?" He finally asked.

I knew why he was asking. He had seen the tears that were rolling down my cheeks the night before. Knowing Thorin and how protective he is of me, he probably thought he was hurting me. At first, it didn't feel uncomfortable but the feeling quickly disappeared and was not the reason why I cried.

For the first time in my whole entire life, I felt loved by someone that I wasn't related to. Someone had wanted me in their life and I wanted to be in there's. They had the choice and they chose me, made me smile, maybe feel things that I had never felt before. That is why I cried. I felt wanted, and a part of someone that I wanted to see smile every day for a long time.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cry." I tried to laugh it off even though it wasn't funny.

"Why did you?" His brows furrowed. It didn't help that his black mysterious eyes bore into mine like they were searching for the truth and maybe even my soul.

"I'm about to say something weird, okay?" The words came out slowly to make sure he understood the warning that I was giving him. It was time to tell him, how I truly felt every time he hugged me, kissed me and made me smile.

"Alright." I couldn't help but to notice his Adam's apple slightly bounce when he nervously swallowed.

I didn't really know how to say this to him because I've only thought it and not actually said the words. "I cried because... I really care about you and for some reason, I just felt like I was really cared for and protected at that moment. I've always felt that way when I'm with you but for some reason, my eyes were like 'whoop time to cry'."

Now it was my turn to be nervous and stare directly into his eyes, trying to find out what he was exactly thinking. I didn't know, I didn't have mind reading powers that I wished I did at that moment. The only thing I had was the thought of what I said may have weirded him out and would want him to leave.

My face was pushed into Thorin's chest by the hand that made its way to the back of my head. "I really care about you too Flora and I'm glad that you feel that way. Don't ever apologize for crying, alright?" He pulled back, lifting my chin with his fingers so he could look me in the face.

Thorin didn't really have to tell me that he cared about me, I already could tell.

"I'm sorry about being an asshole in the beginning." I finally admitted that I was one.

"In the beginning? Eh..." He trailed off.

Screw the embrace. I pulled out my hand, smacking him on the shoulder like I did last night. "Oh please, I could have been a lot worse."

We both laughed.

"Alright, alright." Thorin chuckled. "I'm sorry about not telling you about me on the app early.." He finally admitted himself. "But come on, love fighter?" Thorin wiggled his fingers. "And didn't I tell you that I was Irish?"

"Okay, there are a lot of Irish guys out there with tattoos." I tried to defend myself, still laughing. "Plus, I didn't really think that you liked girls that were my...."

"Size?" My sentence was finished for me.

"Yes." I sighed.

He pulled on me again, pushing me against him again. "Oh shush."

I did as he said, not wanting to ruin the situation. It was a pretty nice situation and there wasn't really any need for me to really ask about what Thorin likes. I knew what Thorin liked and it was me. At first, I didn't know that someone could like someone with my kind of body but I was proven wrong. I didn't mind that.

Just as I was about fall asleep once again, I heard the front door open and close. This wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't for the fact that I was naked. Not only was I naked and haven't really worked on the decorations but I wasn't alone. Thorin was in my bed, naked as ever. This wouldn't have gone well either way, but I wasn't going to die that day.

"Thorin, you gotta go." I tapped on his shoulder.

"Why?" He yawned, stretching before retracting his arms with me in between them. "I'm so comfortable."

"Okay that's great but you're not going to be comfortable when my mother comes home and kills you for being naked in my bed."

He sighed. "Give me a kiss first and then I'll get up."

Again, I did as he said, giving him a quick peck on the lips. "Now get the hell out."

Thorin shook his head. "No, a real kiss." He demanded.

"You really need to go." It wasn't that I wanted Thorin to leave but he had to.

"I will, once I get my kiss." He smirked.

Knowing that he was serious, I went in to give him a real kiss. I pressed my lips against his, slowly moving them with his. He took control, rolling me onto my back. "Thorin." I said, trying to break up the mini make out session that Thorin wanted. "You have to go." It probably didn't sound so meaningful, especially with my arms around Thorin's neck.

"But do you want me to go?" He said, grabbing at my sides.

"Well... no, but..."

"Butt?" A little yelp escaped from my mouth when Thorin's hands grabbed well... my butt.

I snorted. "Thorin, you better leave before I kick your butt."

A little frown was on his face. "Fine. But I'm coming back." He said, getting up. I tried my best to not look too much at his bare body, but it was sort of hard not to. His lean tattooed body had very little trouble putting back on his black jeans. Though it was kind of a sad sight, I also watched as he slid his shirt back on, covering up his body.

"Wait, you forgot those." I pointed at the ground next to the bed. His briefs were still there.

"I'll get them later." He waved his hand at them. "I'll just take these for the meantime." I was about to protest when he walked over to the little pile of clothes that I had on the floor myself. From the pile, the asshole plucked a piece of pink cotton that was meant to stay in my room and smashed them into his back pocket. "See ya later."

"Wait, aren't you going to take those?" I nodded to the items on my nightstand.

"Just to bring them back?" He winked. Before I could leave the bed and throw the things at him, he left. With my underwear.

And I thought I was the asshole.

*******

I wiped at the sweat that was beading at my forehead, putting down little annoying hairs onto the flesh. Mom did the same, breathing heavily while staring at the wooden table that the both of us had moved into the backyard. It was the third table that we moved and wasn't going to be the last one, especially with all of the family members that she invited.

"You know, this party was probably a mistake?" I said, huffing like my mother. It was true, my cousins were probably going to make a mess. There definitely was going to be some type of drama between my dramatic aunt and mother or worse. A roasting that would carry a burn that would last for most of my life. Not just from my mother or her sister but also from other old people that were invited. They would probably say how I'm the worst human being because I didn't want to eat their macaroni salad.

Mom shrugged. "It's going to be fun."

"Yeah, sure." She said that because she was going to be one of the elders doing the roasting.

We went back to lifting the table and I already picked the one that I knew I was going to sit at. I specifically made sure that the table was somewhat more off to the distance and away from the attention, unlike the other tables. It only had a few seats there so whoever was sitting next to me made it hard for a couple of my baby cousins from using my chub as their personal jungle gym.

It didn't take long until we were practically ready for my personal hell ceremony- I mean, graduation party. It was Mel and Thorin's too but it seemed more like a party for Mel. Basically, it looked like our school had puked on our backyard with all the white and blue. From the plates on the tables to the napkins that Thorin made sure to pick out and right down to even little white and blue graduation rubber duckies that sprawled out everywhere.

"Hey did you go out the other night to get ice cream?" Mom asked, still looking at the finished product.

My heart stopped.

"Yeah, I thought I deserved it because I was working so hard." I tried my best for my voice to not come out shaky. At least I was working hard?

"Huh, good thinking. The kids might want some of it." She squinted her eyes.

"Whatever, I'm going to go take a shower." That was the best way I could stop the conversation about the ice cream that I didn't go out to get because I was working hard. I didn't want to stand there and lie to her that my boyfriend that I didn't tell her about for the longest time came over that night and went to my room for the rest of the night.

It didn't help that I kept thinking about how Thorin and I basically took our relationship to the next level while getting out of the shower. Or the fact that he stole a pair of my underwear that I was going to get back but also revenge. I didn't know what I was going to do Thorin, but I was going to do something that would make sure that he would never take a pair again.

I was walking out of the bathroom while scrunching at my wet hair with a towel when someone had rung our doorbell. Like I've said before, no one really used our doorbell so the sound was foreign to me. It was a noise that I wasn't really fond of especially when the person kept using it over and over again. Clearly, mom was busy to not answer the door or else the none sense would have been over with quickly.

My eyes were rolling, ready to tell the idiot to go away and stop messing with our door. As soon as I gripped onto the knob, I was met with familiar red curls that bounced at the slightest movement. With food in their hands, Mel, Thorin and Mel's dad were standing on our porch.

"WE'RE READY TO EAT FOOD AND PARTAY!" Mel squealed.

Maybe she would be a nice diversion so my family wouldn't notice me.

OMG NEXT CHAPTER IS GOING TO BE THE LAST ONE. IMA GOING TO CRY.
