"Catherine!!!" from looking at the huge bulletin board on the front gate I look at Kana who came running on my side. "did you see our section?" I nodded
"we're on the same class, section two" I uttered a prayer of thanks after I finally confirmed that I am not on the same class as the king and knight.
The shock I received from auntie Leila resulted in me having a fever for three days that when father learned about me being held in bed due to fever he immediately cut short our vacation and I then found myself back in our home. Looks like my kidnapping resulted into a trauma on the part of my father that whenever something is wrong with me he had to act like this.
"but seriously what happened with you? I just suddenly received a mail from brother Clyde telling me to pack-up cause we're going home and after that I didn't get to see you again"

"good" I said satisfied, when someone suddenly tugged at my skirt making me stop from taking my steps. I look down and see a five year old male kid looking up at me. "hello" I smiled widely at him. He's got blue eyes and black hair same with father, a very rare combination but his chubby face and body makes me want to hug him tightly, he's so cute!!!!! I just want to pinch that soft mochi looking cheeks.
"nee-chan" kyaaaa!!!!!! Even his voice is so cute plus the way he said sister in Japanese makes me think of those seiyuu used for children characters in anime. "nee-chan"
"yes?" I ask, entirely smitten with this kid
"hug!!!" he suddenly raised his arms to me and as if an arrow had hit my heart I immediately succumb to temptation and hug him. He's wearing the black and red sailor uniform complete with the black sailor cap in red lining of the elementary section so I am sure that this kid is studying in Argent
"oh my who's this cute kid" looks like even Kana is taken in by this kid in my arms. I then decided to carry him, I had a younger brother in my past life and I always took care of Charlie so I am pretty much used to handling kids. I felt a pain in my chest when I remember my younger brother I just wish that he's doing fine together with my parents even though I am not around them anymore.
"what's your name little one?" I ask him and he look at me with that puppy dog eyes of his, plus his blue eyes suddenly reminded me of brother and father

"eh????" I suddenly remembered uncle's words that my informant, Zero is in the Academy. however I am very sure that this little mochi ball in my arms is not that Zero
"I am Zero" he said while placing his hands on his cheeks
"so cute!!!!" both me and Kana can't help but exclaim

"I have this sudden urge to just take him home"
"me too, he's just so cute that I want to cuddle him every day" I said and hug Zero tightly
"nee-chan smell nice......" I laughed when Zero suddenly hugged me on my neck and bury his head on my hair "nee-chan daisuki" a good feeling enveloped me when he uttered those words that I can't help but pinch his cheeks and then he giggled.....so cute!!!!!!

"can I touch him too?" ask Kana as she try to touch Zero but he just hide and hugged me tighter
"looks like he doesn't like you" Kana pouted while I just smile at zero
"anyway, whose child is this cute kid anyway?" Kana look around while I just concentrated at Zero
"Zero!!!!" I look up when I heard a familiar voice and I almost run when I saw my uncle, this time he's wearing a bright red suit with his usual black shades. Till now I am still wondering how this person became the chief of police he really looks like a yakuza more than a police officer and can someone teach him about color!!!!! Then I remember the name uncle called and look at Zero
"Zero?"
"ah...Zero, there your are, hello Catherine" I nodded at uncle "looks like you're getting acquainted with your cousin" I look down at Zero who is looking at me with puppy dog eyes then at uncle then back at Zero
"oh...."
"hey what's with that look of disbelief?"
"Ichi, where's Zero?" suddenly a beautiful woman dressed in white came and stand besides uncle
"there" uncle pointed at Zero then the beautiful woman look at me
"oh....hello Catherine"
"????" this beautiful woman knows me
"oho.....my wife is beautiful isn't it?" I was shocked! Uncle's wife? I look at the beautiful woman then at Zero then at uncle who is smiling smugly that it makes me want to punch him for some reason.
"uncle, its bad to lie" I said out loud then uncle's smile was wipe off making me feel good while the beautiful woman beside him giggled
"do I look like someone who lies?" I nodded then uncle laugh "believe me Catherine they're my family" uncle lovingly placed a hand on the beautiful woman's shoulder making my mouth agape. It's like watching the demon king looking lovingly at an angel.
"I think I'm going to have a headache"
"nee-chan?" Zero touch my cheeks making me look down on him and when I saw his innocent blue eyes I feel healed.
"ah....chief!!" someone called from the distance, uncle look in that direction and I saw him waved at someone "chief what are you doing here?" suddenly Aoi and Ryuuji showed up
"oh....brats you've grown up. Ryuuji" the king nodded with respect.
Wait? What's happening? What's this development? The reason for my family's destruction is suddenly bowing in respect to a member of that same family? Did something change with the plot setting somewhere?
"and you're still wearing gaudy clothes, chief. Hello mistress Ana" the beautiful lady smiled at them.
"I dress like this so I could intimidate those small fries in the government" uncle said proudly while I just shake my head in disbelief.
"looks like your uncle is acquainted with them"
"how could I not be?" it seems like uncle heard Kana "this brats were trained by me in archery and martial arts, after-all being able to graduate at the top of my class with the highest performance rate in combat and marksmanship makes me the perfect teacher" I almost scared myself with how arrogant my uncle is, seriously his arrogance could beat a raging typhoon anytime of the day
"don't mind him" uncle's wife, an information I still refuse to accept as fact, smile at me "looks like Zero clung himself to you" she tried to reach Zero but Zero just clutch my uniform

"Zero, nee-chan still need to attend the opening ceremony, come"

"Zero" uncle tried to reach for him but Zero slapped his hands then Zero's gaze landed on Ryuuji who is looking at us
"nii!!!! Nii!!!!" he suddenly started moving his hands that I am afraid he would suddenly fall over so I held him tighter and to my horror Ryuuji started walking towards me.
"Zero, go with your parents" this unfeeling guy! How could you talk with a child in that chilly tone of yours?
"no, stay with nee-chan"
"looks like you'll be stuck with him for a while" I look at Kana who for some reason seems to be enjoying the scene, as always. are your really my friend? why do i feel like you take me as your personal entertainment center
"Zero, you still need to attend your class"
"boring!!!"
"Zero!" I look at Ryuuji with wide eyes when he raise his voice a little "go with your parents, no need to stay with her"
"I want, I want!!!! Stay with nee-chan all day" uh-oh......
"excuse me what seems to be the commotion here?" sister Liya suddenly appeared "ah....catherine" since brother is now in his third year he turn-over his position to sister Liya so he could concentrate on his studies specially
"sister!!!" sister Liya looks at me then to Uncle and back at me

"wait!!!!" but sister Liya had gone away and it is clear that she run away from the problem. heck!!!! What kind of president are you sister Liya!!!!!!
"Catherine, the opening ceremony is going to start soon, what are we going to do with him?" all of us look at Zero who is nuzzling on my arms
"Catherine!!!" I turn immediately when I heard brother calling my name
"Brother!!!!" I ask helplessly
"Uncle, auntie" noooo!!!!!!! The angel is really my uncle's wife? I feel like I just witness the demon king kidnapping the angel "and I presume this is Zero" brother bent and ruffled Zero's hair making Zero to look up at brother
"nii!!! Nii!!!" Zero suddenly raised his hands and grab at brother sleeve "want!!! Hug!!!" brother chuckled and I notice how it garnered the attention of other students especially the girls. Brother take Zero and carry him
"you've grown up brat" Zero giggled "the opening ceremony is starting soon, head to the gym now, I'll take care of Zero" I nodded, brother gestured uncle and auntie to follow him while I am still looking at their retreating back
"brother is really awesome" I said while grinning at Kana
"in your eyes, your brother is always awesome. Come, let's head to the gym"
"you really love your brother huh Catherine" you're still here?!!!! I shouted in my mind when Aoi and Ryuuji walk besides us
"yes, I love my brother"
"anyway, I did not get to see you again back then, did you leave early?" even if we did not leave early I would never appear in front of you again.
"ah, I got a fever so father decided for us to return early"
"are you okay now?" okay, I'll never curse you again in my mind since you sound so sincere

"you knew she's sick? Why didn't you even tell me" Kana raised her eyes then she look at me
"you're habit to be meddlesome on a sick patient is troublesome so I did not disclose it"
"it's called concern Ryuuji"
"even if I did tell you, her brother will not let you through. A lion is far worse than a cat" I see how Kana nodded as if agreeing to what Ryuuji had mentioned.
