Jungkook was still shaken up. Taehyung snuggled beside him, still comforting him whilst Jimin was on the phone with the police. When he came back to the lounge with the other males, his eyelids were hanging, showing how tired he was.
"Just got off the phone," he told them, "they're heading towards the company now, if he's still there. I gave them your numbers, so they'll contact you soon."
They nodded back. "Thank you, Jimin hyung," Jungkook said as he sniffed, adding a grateful smile. He stood up on his feet and wrapped his arms around the petite boy. "Thank you so much."
"No problem boy," he smiled back, "glad you're okay."
Taehyung got up as well, also giving his best friend a quick hug. "Thanks mate," he smiled.
Jimin playfully nudged his friend's chest. "Anything for you." The small male waved as he exited the house and went to his own home back to his boyfriend who was worried sick, now leaving the two shaken males alone for themselves.
"I can't believe this is happening again," Taehyung muttered, mostly to himself.
"Guess we're going to court again," Jungkook sighed, already feeling tired just by the thought. He hated the past repeated itself. "When are you going to your session anyways hyung?"
Taehyung glanced at the younger surprised. "We're waiting for the police to contact us about your boss' crime to you, and you want me to go a therapist session now?" he asked with wide eyes.
Jungkook nodded seriously. "The faster you get well, the better it is."
Taehyung scuffed. "I am well."
Jungkook put his hand on the elder's shoulder. "We talked about this hyung," he told him with a serious tone, "we're going through it, whether you like it or not. Might as well do it soon before we'll have to worry about everything else that will happen now."
Taehyung sighed defeated. "You're right," he agreed, "I'll set up a meeting as fast as possible for the therapist."
"Good," Jungkook smiled satisfied, "I'll go with you."
Taehyung frowned, but he looked away. He didn't want him to come with him - not at all.
The next day Jungkook obviously didn't go to work. He got a text from Jimin he went as he still had his job, and that Mr Nam was absent. He didn't know whether the police that taken him in yet or if he had fled. He knew they'd be contacted soon anyways though.
When Jungkook came out of the bathroom after showering, he heard Taehyung speaking from the bedroom. He was obviously on the phone, and by how the conversation went, Jungkook guessed he was talking to his Mrs Kim - his boss - about the therapist session he was going to have. Jungkook smiled pleased over his boyfriend's action for doing the right thing.
"Tomorrow would be great," he heard him say, "yeah, around four o'clock in the afternoon?" He paused for a moment. "Great." Jungkook smiled again, about to head for the kitchen, but he stopped as he heard the mention of his name. "But Jungkook has asked to come with me, and I can't seem to convince him otherwise to not."
Jungkook frowned to himself. Didn't he want me to come along? He thought to himself as his smile faded.
"No, I know it's because he's worried. I get it, but...I don't want him to come with me," he told his boss.
Jungkook stood completely still. He couldn't understand why the elder didn't want him along. Had he done anything wrong? Did he think it was embarrassing? Had Taehyung done something he didn't want Jungkook to found out about?
Suddenly the door went open. Taehyung still had his phone up to his ear, and he was staring straight at the younger whom had nearly glued himself on the door.
"I'll call you back boss," he said, almost through gritted teeth, and then he hung up.
Jungkook felt afraid as he met the elder's angry glare burning on him. "Hyung, I - "
"Oh please, spare yourself," he spat, "you just can't let me handle anything on my own, huh?"
Jungkook shook his head quickly. "Not at all," he denied, "I just heard my name and - "
"And what? You just can't handle being the topic of someone's private conversation? What's the matter with you?" he yelled.
Jungkook whimpered from Taehyung's sudden loud voice. "I'm sorry hyung," he apologised, "I didn't meant to listen."
Taehyung glared so hard at him it made Jungkook's legs turn into jelly. "I've had enough of you acting like I'm a fucking child and keep observing me - not as a boyfriend, but a fucking detective - "
Taehyung's yelling suddenly stopped, which surprised the younger, and suddenly he was down at the floor.
"Hyung!" Jungkook screamed, both in surprise and scared, "Taehyung hyung!"
The brown haired male's eyes were wide open, unconscious, but he just stared right up into thin air; firstly his body was completely still, making the younger think scary thoughts, but then his body started shaking violently.
Jungkook panicked as he tried holding him still, mostly just protecting his head so he wouldn't injure himself, and then he called for an ambulance.
Jungkook cried hard. He was so frightened and anxious for his boyfriend; he had no idea what was going on. He didn't know why Taehyung was so normal for one moment, after that he threw a tantrum on the younger, and then all of the sudden he was down at the ground shaking.
The elder was at the hospital - the doctors told Jungkook to wait outside of the nursing room where they were treating Taehyung to find out what was happening with his body.
"Jungkookie?" The said male turned around, not even bothering to dry his tears away first, and he spotted Seokjin coming running towards him.
"Hyung," Jungkook cried, "hyung, Taehyungie is..." He didn't know how to finish his sentence. He didn't know anything.
But Seokjin didn't say anything. He just brought the shorter in for a big and tight hug. He hummed weakly for the other to calm down, stroking him on the back of his head as he rocked them back and forth on their feet, trying to keep them from standing completely still.
Not longer after, Namjoon had appeared too. He went on the other side of Jungkook and hugged him from behind, softly leaning his head on his back. "It's okay Jungkook," he said softly. He had his distance with the oldest though, but he still had to be there for the crying boy.
Five minutes later, Hoseok appeared too, giving the youngest a quick hug and words of encouragement. Then only matter of seconds the final couple came at last. Yoongi asked if Jungkook was okay, which he honestly didn't know what to answer.
No, he wasn't okay. Not even close.
Everyone sat on a big sofa outside the waiting room as a nurse had told them it might take some time. Jungkook couldn't help but to smile sarcastically. "We always end up here, don't we?" he said quietly to himself, earning the attention of his friends.
"Don't say that," Namjoon told him.
"But it's true," Jungkook said, rather emotionless. He was so tired.
The other boys didn't know what to reply, and rather kept quiet so it'd be peaceful and quiet for the young male.
"Mr Jeon Jungkook?"
Jungkook jumped on his feet right away at the mention of his name, seeing a doctor standing over him.
"Yes doctor?" he asked the lady in white coat.
"I need to speak with you immediately," she said sternly, "in private."
Jungkook agreed and they went further away from the male's friends. "How is Taehyung?" he asked concerned.
"Well," the lady started, sighing slightly, "we found out why he was having such a bad seizure." Jungkook sharpened his ears. "He usually doesn't have seizures, am I right?" Jungkook nodded, confirming her theory. "As expected. He has some foreign medication in his system that his body is not used to, and too much of it will cause his body to react like that," the doctor told him, "you may have noticed strange behaviour of Kim Taehyung, serious mood swings, heavy breathing, sleeping problems, high heart rate, maybe even some redness in his eyes, and so on. His body has gotten a lot of alcohol and different medications in his body. But we've noticed some other things he might've have been taken in secret, as we discovered cocaine and heroin in his system. We suspect he's been on some tobacco as well, as there's some serious mixing poison in his body.
"It won't take a long time for him to heal, as it has luckily not been for a long time in use, but he might not wake up until a few days. You may go home for the moment, and we'll be in contact." Jungkook was frozen. He managed to bow respectfully towards the doctor, but after the lady had disappeared, he couldn't move his body.
Hoseok had appeared beside him, trying to ask him about Taehyung and what the doctor told him, but he didn't hear one word from his friend. He felt like he was completely gone.
Taehyung had been on drugs. He hadn't just taken 'sleeping pills' to help him sleep. He hadn't just been drinking because he was having emotional problems. He was doing everything he wasn't supposed to do.
And Jungkook couldn't help but to think badly of him.
