On the sand she wrote their names together.
Opening the camera she intended to take a picture.
Huge tide erased that.
Her hopes crashed with the wave, they're not meant to be together.
Even the nature wanted them apart.

Happy reading. 🎈

Writer POV:

She couldn't conclude what her witch of a sister again did. Why she's such a bitch?

"Get out, didn't you hear the lady", Sanah yelled on her face making her took two steps back in fright. All eyes on the cafe were fixed on her petite form cringing in fear. She felt the raising embarrassment inside her mingled with emotion of anger. Tears already pricked her eyes and she clutched the strap of her backpack gulping in the lump in her throat. With a swift motion she turned back and her face crashed into something hard. Okay that jerk was standing still behind her. She lifted her teary hazel orbs to look in his, he had his evil smirk on his face which somehow fell on witnessing her bright red nose. She passed him a glare and almost rushed outside the cafe with tears trailing down her soft cheeks. He heaved a sigh and silently followed her outside with hands still stuffed inside his pants pockets.

She slumped on the bench outside the cafe, her body shaking and she recklessly let those tears left her orbs taking away her pain maybe. With narrowed eyes he watched her silently, when she cried enough she lifted up her head to came across the reason behind her troubles.

"What do you think you are?" She yelled on his face not caring this time about the passer by. She was now standing close to him.

"Well I'm a genius clever man with some great looks", he smirked and her animosity amplified.

"You're a cunning monster who knows how to play the game very well", she wishpered with gritted teeth when his smirk widened.

"Ohh babe you know me so well, I'm honoured", he placed both his hands on his heart and with sarcasm in his tone he let those words slips out his tongue. She clenched her fist tightly.

"Why? Why you did that? Are you  forgetting the deal?" She gritted her teeth harder together clutching her fists more tightly.

"I remember that, well you were the first to intruded in my life and then I just paid you back honey", he shrugged his shoulders and folded his hands over his chest.

"When I intruded in your life?" With gobsmacked expressions plastered on her face she asked that ruthless man.

"By listening to my music without my permission", within blink of an eye his tone was tough.

"WTH? They're my ears, whatever I wanna listen I can listen, you should have played that sh*t in some isolation", she shouted back getting irked by his nonsense.

"You don't deserve to listen that and I know I'm pretty good at that job", without giving any expression he said and she just rolled back her teary eyes. He was really an absurd.

"Why you made me lose my job?" She took the turn with the topic, her voice still shaky.

"I didn't, you yourself lost that", he shrugged his shoulders and put back his hands in his pockets.

"Why you asked her not to yell on me then?" She continued with interrogation.

"Babe, don't think that I was trying to be husband, I just wanted to add more spice to the firing process, look it's fruitful, you're jobless, BOOM!", he smirked when she just sniffed and rubbed her nose harshly with her sleeves. His eyes followed her gesture.

"Fine, now it's over. Not again", she pointed a finger on his face and turned swiftly before running away trying best to blink back her tears. Her petite form soon disappeared from his sight. He felt that, with Adam in the morning her smile was so natural and enticing but with him she always find a reason to cry or he makes her cry.

I don't give damn! He thought to himself before dragging his thoughts back to Inayah. Huge damn traffic made him lost her but he knew she's here, back in the town and he's gonna find her soon.

His phone buzzed off, he groaned on coming across the caller ID.

"Yes dad?" He walked along the pavement advancing to his bike.

"What party?" He annoyingly asked, he never attended any family parties, all were sh*t for him.

"But-", he intruded in conversation but his dad cut him off in hard tone.

"Fine", he gave up and hung up.

******

She delicately spruced up the books in the shelf when the ringtone of her phone erupted like a shrill in the silent library, some eyes snapped to her with glare, she hurriedly turned off the noise passing them apologizing look, she was in no mood to lose another job. She cursed herself for not switching the phone to silent.

"Inayah", she mumbled on witnessing her name dancing on her phone screen. She stepped to the farthest corner and picked up.

"Party?" She seemed surprised.

"You're also among the organizers?" She asked with a smile.

"Uhhh... But job and exam", Laila was confused, She didn't want to upset her only friend nor she could be careless about her studies.

Inayah insisted.

"Okay I'll come, text me the address", she finally gave in.

She wanted some peace. Maybe attending a social gathering would help her a little.

"Love you too", she responded to the love confession by Inayah with a wide smile before hanging up.

"Okay Laila brace up yourself for another event", she mumbled to herself before getting back to work getting exuberant with each passing second for the party. She never attended such parties and she knew many elite class people would be there. She had to look felicitious to adjust among them.

Night:

He draped the blazer around his shoulder adjusting his hair with a gel, he had a little haircut because of the constant scolding from his mom. He looked a qualified person for the event now, not that worn out gangster Harris.

Bathing in his favourite cologne he appreciated his good looks in the mirror with a smirk on his face. No girl could resist me.

"Today if I'm forced to go then I'm gonna have fun. Girls won't be able to resist my charm", he smirked again when the door of his room knocked.

"Hello brother", in came another GOD finest creation. He looked amazingly handsome in his navy blue tuxedo hugging tightly his built form.

"Hello Mr. Handsome, can you just stop suppressing my charm", Harris snorted but Adam just laughed loudly throwing his head at the back. His words always amazes him.

"That I cannot do", this time he smirked but Harris just rolled his eyes.

"Still I know I'm looking hell good today", Harris flipped few strands of his hair falling in his eyes and left the room followed by Adam who still had a smile on his face.

"Here come my handsome boys", their mother let some lovely words slipped off her tongue when the two brothers cascaded down the stairs together.

"I was born handsome mom but why you produced a more handsome man than me", Harris wishpered in his mother ears and hugged her. Adam and his dad just nodded their head sideways with a smile. Harris was mingling good with the family today and they were kind of satisfied. This sight was rare to see though but whenever they witness, it pleases their heart.

"Bhai is the most handsome, who said you're even cent percent good looking?" Fatema, their sister came out in her white flowy gown looking like a princess followed by her three adorable kids.

"I'm better than you, duck", Harris shot back his reply when Fatema face fell with some unknown expression.

Adam, mom and dad suppressed their laughter.

"Duck?" She made an odious face.

"Yeah Duck, that pout you make in pictures, trust me its horrible", Harris snorted dumping his hands in his pockets.

"Dad... look how manerless he's", Fatema cried while pouting.

"Hahah... look duck with a bad pout", Harris suddenly replied when Fatema pressed her lips.

"Uhh.. don't tease my daughter, she's the prettiest", dad gave Fatema a side hug who stuck out her tongue to Harris.

"Very mature, you don't even look like a married woman", Harris rolled his eyes when Fatema glared at him.

"Monkey mammo, ddontt teazze my mom", little Alina put hands on her hips and glared at Harris whose expression turned out to be funniest. A loud laughter erupted in the whole lounge.

A/N: Mammo is an Urdu word and it means mother's brother or you can call uncle.

"Hey you little spoil girl, don't you dare call me that", Harris scolded back the little girl but like she would listen.

"Lashtt worning", she pointed a finger and with gobsmacked expression he stared the little soul. The laughter amplified.

"All are same, huh! Whatever", Harris finally gave up by rolling his eyes and advanced to the main door.

"My poor boy", he heard his mom before he motioned to his car. They followed him outside.

******

She adjusted her shirt and ran her fingers along her hair one more time not able to conclude if she looked adjustable for the party.

She pushed her feet in the only black stilettos she had and gave her make-up some final touch.

"I hope I don't look odd one out", she mumbled before dropping important stuffs in her clutch and hanged it on her shoulder.

Harris was not home, he was not back from their last meeting. She was at ease and why should she care when he failed at giving any damn.

She put a sticky note on the fridge.

Will be back home late.

She didn't want to but she just did that before stepping out of the house. The cold whiff of air gushed passed her petite form and she motioned to get a cab to reach her destination.

A journey of half an hour made her reach the huge luxurious hotel. Her eyes roamed around to witness many people of elite class, the flood of high society people were barging in the big hotel chattering and mumbling in some sofisticated manner. A pang of uncomfort crossed her heart but she mumbled some supplications to bring her uneasy heart to regular pace.

"Card please madam", the royal guard asked for card.

Ohh shoot! Inayah didn't give her any card.

"Card? Actually I got call from my friend who mentioned about the invitation", she tried to make talk in lowest wishper as possible. A huge line already qeued behind her.

"I'm sorry get aside mam, card first", the man pushed her aside and she stumbled barely holding herself from hitting the hard floor below.

Manerless!

First embarrassment of the event, how many more to go? She thought before going to the far corner and dialled Inayah's number.

"Hello Laila? You're here?" Inayah asked in a joyous voice.

"Yes Inayah, they're asking for Card", Laila fidget her thumb with her fingers.

"Yeah, wait near the door, I'm on my way to pick you", she heard her.

"Okay sure", she replied before hanging up and slowly made way to the door stealing the glances of people around.

She peered at her dress and matched it with other ladies, she really looked odd one out, she just hoped that Inayah might have dressed like her.

"Laila", she heard her voice and turned abruptly, her wild heart came to ease and the girls shared a hug. Laila noticed how gorgeous Inayah was looking in her off shoulder gown, just like a fairy from the fairyland. With long white gown and sleeves reaching her wrist, her long way hair fell down her waist. The perfect amount of make-up and that breathtaking smile. She was really a beauty.

"You look amazing darling", she heard Inayah, she knew Inayah was trying to make her comfortable. She knew she really looked different and weird.

"Thanks but not more than you Ms. Fairy", Laila complimented the pretty girl and received her laughter. Both the ladies walked hand in hand inside.

Laila roamed her wide eyes in that amazing artifical sculpture screaming delicacy and aristocracy. The luxurious hotel was filled with top-notch people.

"The party is for?" She asked Inayah when they were making their way into the banquet.

"It's for the youth who are working in arts like fashion designing, drawings, painting etc. Basically it's kind of exhibition, after which there will be award distribution ceremony and then dinner", she explained the confused Laila who nodded in response.

"May be dance party too", Inayah smirked when Laila smiled but inside she was uneasy.

"Wow, you designed it?" Laila couldn't believe. There on a manequinn rested an amazing piece of fabric stitched in elegant manner.

"Yes... you like it?" Inayah seemed joyous.

"Ohh girl I love it", she gave her friend a tight hug.

"You're amazing", she couldn't help but complimented that talented girl more.

"Thanks babe", Inayah spoke when they roamed along witnessing more and more fine pieces of creations by people. Laila couldn't help but got awed by each and every thing placed there. So much talent and beauty was making her excited.

"I'll also put my amazing drawings here from the next time, all other will fade I can bet", Laila's feet glued to the ground. The familiar voice. She abruptly turned and choked on her saliva on coming across so many familiar faces that her heart left it's track and lost its pace making the poor girl dizzy.

She was again startled by the scenario.
