"Excuse the interruption," a man said on the hologram "As I was saying, bounty hunter, I have need of your services,"
"I'm listening," Cad Bane told him as he turned from the window
"I need a Jedi holocron,"
"To get a holocron, I'd have to break into the Jedi Temple. It's impossible, not to mention deadly," I couldn't help but lift my head up at the mention.
"Perhaps your reputation has been exaggerated,"
"I want a Rogue class starfighter with elite weapons, cloaking device, the works. Oh, and triple my usual rate," he sat down in his chair. His hand twirling a piece of my hair, I moved my head away only for him to yank me down.
"Your price is of no concern. I will provide you with the means to get inside the temple,"
"You've got a deal,"

"You know if you would just tell me what it is you're doing back there, I could probably be of some assistance," Todo said to Bane
"Look, I am just doing some maintenance. You've been having memory crashes," Cad Bane told the droid
"That is preposterous. I have no memory of any crashes. Oh, my goodness. I have no memory of any crashes,"
"Exactly,"
"Oh, no. I am doomed. Bane, you have to help me,"
"Calm down. I'm done,"
"Oh. Thank you,"
An electronic buzz sounded "Skysati, get the door," I stared out the window, the buzzing continued "Skysati!" I was jolted from my thoughts as I felt a shock and glared over at Bane "Get the door!" I opened the door
"Who are you?" the person asked
"Who are you?" I countered as the person walked into the room.
"None of your business," they set down their weapon and lifted their mask as they looked onto the screen "Who is that?"
"Bolla Ropal, Jedi, out in the Mid Rim,"
"We going after him?"
"Soon. Right now, we're stealing a holocron," he pressed a button revealing a holographic imagige of a Jedi Holocron.
"Impossible. The only place you can get a holocron is..."
"I know. Inside the main vaults of the Jedi Temple. Fortunately, our Sith Lord client has set us up with some help. For one, the map of the temple you're looking at right now. For another, a security chip that I've placed in my droid,"
"I have been given all the technical data regarding security systems in the Jedi Temple," Todo explained
"Both the vent shafts and the vault itself are equipped with all kinds of traps and security measures. Todo can take them out, but we'll need help from someone inside the Jedi Library. And that's where your talents as a changeling will come in," I couldn't help but look over at the body that sat in one of the chairs as Cad Bane mentioned that part of the plan.
"He looks like a Jedi," The changeling said.
"He was. His name was Ord Enisence. You should be able to walk into the archives and monitor us without a problem. The Changeling walked over Ord Enisence, and with one touch of his skin they transformed.
The changling chuckled as they looked at themselves "Now that I am a Jedi.." their voice deepened "I can do that,"
"Good. You will need these." Cad Bane held out comlinks in his hand "They're ear comlinks so we can keep in communication,"
"Mm, the vault is in the library, which backs onto the communications center. There will be swarms of Jedi nearby,"
"We'll use that to our advantage,"
"Even if you get into the vault, how are you going to crack that safe?"
Cad Bane looked over at me "Let me worry about the safe." he turned back to the changling "First things first,"

"Cato, come in. Cato, are you there yet?" Bane asked over the comlink "Cato, come in,"
"I'm in." Cato said
"It's about time. Just tell us where to get in,"
"All right, there's a weak point in the shield that Todo should be able to break through. I'm beaming him the coordinates now,"
"Okay, I have got it," Todo flew off
"I will jam the temple's scanners,"
"Let's see. It is around here somewhere," Todo touched a part of the security, creating a hole "There,"
Cad Bane grabbed me and flew us through "In," Cad Bane said
"You're welcome," I stayed where I was as Bane took down the covering of one of the ventilation shafts. I thought I was in the clear until he pushed me in first.
"Don't get any funny ideas," we kept going until below us were fans.
"The control board for the fan should be on your left," The Changeling explained as Todo flew over to the controls and flipped the switch causing the fan blades to slow down.
"All clear, sir," Todo said once the fans stopped and we continued further down.
"Not quite. The fan you're passing through has a security switch,"
"I do not see anything. Beside, we have already gotten past the fan," I noticed the security switch below my feet and gently extended my foot so it passed over. Causing a loud buzzing to sound. "Oh,"
"We're getting sucked into the fan," Cad Bane said "Turn it off!"
"I do not know how!"
"Cato, do something,"
"I've got it from here," Cato said and within seconds the fans stopped.
"I'll deal with you later," Bane growled as we continued downwards.
"Okay, Bane, the next part is relatively simple. Make your way down the shaft until you reach..." he cut off but Todo had the map in his system that he led us until we came to chasm that underneath was a laser grid.
"This is it,"
"Perfect." Todo said "Let's go in,"
"No," Bane stopped the droid "Cato, come in. We are over the vault,"
"Give me a moment to checkk out the security system," Cato said in a female voice.
"What's wrong with your voice?"
"Change of plans. I'm the librarian now,"
"Hurry it up, Cato. We can't stay hidden for long,"
"The vault is filled with laser sensors that go in every direction. I'll try to deactivate the whole system from here,"
I looked up as I sensed someone coming, Bane noticed my movement "Just hurry. I can hear them. They're looking for us in the vent system," before I could do anything, Cad Bane pressed a button and I felt a shock go through my system and I fell to the ground. "The Jedi are coming closer,"
"I've got it. Go in," the laser grid turned off and we jumped down. Cad Bane began working on the lock to the safe as Todo worked on deactivating the laser beams. "Almost there. Are you almost done deactivating those laser beams yet?"
"We are good to go," Todo claimed as the beams turned off.
"Good. Start cutting through that wall,"
"This job just keeps getting weirder and weirder and weirder,"
"Bane, the two Jedi have turned around and are making their way towards you,"
"Todo, are you done yet?" Cad Bane grunted
"These things take time," Todo claimed
"Some butler droid you turned out to be,"
"I am a techno-service droid!"
"I am not going to be able to do this without a diagram. Cato, come in. Cato?"
"What has happened?"
"Something's gone wrong. Todo, is the hole finished?"
"Yes, but..."
"Go to the communications center,"
"What?"
"You heard me,"
"Bane, the communications center will be crawling with Jedi. Why do I need to go in there? Why not her?"
"I will gladly go Bane, if it will help get the job done," I said innocently only for Bane to pull me back onto the ground.
"Now!" Bane ordered Todo.
"Okay, okay," he pushed open the hole and went through, Bane grabbed me as he placed an explosive charge onto the vault.
I noticed two jedi enter the vault "Quick the communication center, let's go!"
Bane pushed me forward into the vault "We're already in the vault, what do you need me for?!" I quipped
"Only a Jedi can take a holocron...so take one and let's go," I looked around the vault and out of the corner of my eye saw Bane hold his controller for the charge in my neck. Realizing there was no way out of the situation, I walked towards the center and picked up a holocron, handing it over to Bane. "Was that so hard?"
