"What? Where else am I gonna live then?" Your frown deepens as you look around your trashed apartment. You wonder what had happened for it to get this bad. Kendall contemplates your question before sighing and looking you straight in the eye.

"With me."

***

"With you? Really?" You question the brunette and she sighs. "Won't my girlfriend have a problem with us living together?"

"I'm you—" she cuts herself off by closing her eyes. "I mean, I'm sure she won't mind two best friends having a sleepover every night until your place gets cleaned up, right? She's going to Greece tomorrow anyways and you obviously need someone to look after you."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Do you mind if I just call her really quick?" She clenches her jaw subtly but forces a smile anyway.

"I'll be in your room packing your things. Call me if you need anything," she rushes up the stairs after handing you her phone. You quickly dial her number and wait patiently for the call to connect.

"Kendall? Why are you calling?" You hear Taylor's voice from the other end of the line and you smile.

"Tay? Are you busy right now?" You ask politely as you look around your trashed apartment. God, something really bad must've happened.

"Oh, hey babe. What's up? Are you okay? Do you need anything?" She asks worriedly and you smile over her concern for you.

"Tay, calm down. I'm fine," she lets out a sigh of relief as you chuckle into the phone.

"Why are you calling from Kendall's phone? Are you with her right now?"

"Uh, yeah... about that. I've realised that my apartment is absolutely trashed and I need  somewhere to stay while I get my place cleaned up. And since you're going to Greece tomorrow, Kendall's kindly offered her place to me," you hold your breath, trying not to upset your girlfriend too much. "Is that okay?"

"I really don't want you and Kendall in the same house together. Can't you just stay at my place while I'm away?" She pleads on the other end of the line and you wonder why she's so against you and Kendall being in the same house.

"Babe, I have to go to rehab for my leg twice a week and who's going to take me there? Who's going to help me out of bed when I need to get up? I can't do anything by myself, Tay. And besides, Kendall is my best friend and we've supposedly been dating for three years. You've gotta trust me somehow," you argue with her and she sighs.

"I know, baby. I'm sorry, I do trust you. I trust you so much, I just don't trust her," you can picture her nose crinkling. She's always crinkled her nose when she didn't approve of something. "I love you so much, Y/N. I don't want to lose you."

"I love you too, Tay," you manage to say back but probably not in the way that she thinks you mean. Yes, you've been crushing on the brunette ever since the two of you hit puberty but you loved her more as a best friend rather than a girlfriend. Although, you don't actually remember the past four years so that fact may have changed. "Kendall's just gonna help me, alright?"

"Fine. But you're coming to stay with me as soon as I come back from Greece," she demands playfully and you laugh, nodding your head in agreement.

"Will do, babe. Have fun, come see me before you leave, alright?" She agrees and you end the phone call. You see Kendall at the top of the staircase with a clenched jaw and two suitcases in her hands. "You alright, Kendall?"

"Perfect," she forces a smile but you dismiss it. "You ready to go?" You nod and she quickly rushes out the doors win your bags in her hands before coming back to roll you into the car.

"Thank you for doing this, Kendall. I really do appreciate it," she helps you buckle your seatbelt before pulling away from the close proximity. You caught a whiff of her fruity perfume as she moved away and all of a sudden, your brain started pounding like a drummer beating angrily against the snare drum. You tried to mask your discomfort as Kendall sent you a warm smile but you couldn't help but let out a low groan of discomfort as soon as she was out of earshot, running over to the driver's seat of the van.

The drive to her house could've been five minutes or an hour, you didn't know nor did you really care. All you were doing was trying to tame the pounding headache that arose as you inhaled Kendall's scent. It was as if your brain was trying to tell you something but an opaque wall was preventing you from knowing. The brunette in the driver's seat noticed your silence and didn't make an effort to converse with you, probably sensing that you weren't really in the mood to talk. You are thankful that she knew you well enough to notice what mood you were in.

The soft sounds of the radio played in the background as you heard Kendall humming silently to the beat of the song, tapping her fingers in a rhythmic pattern. You smiled over the sight before closing your eyes and letting the sleep overcome you.

***

"Y/N, wake up. We're here," your eyelids began to batter, and while slightly cracking open, you were exposed to the sight of Kendall's deep brown orbs gazing into yours. You gulped from the close proximity between yourself and the supermodel before rotating your head slightly, forcing yourself to move away from her hot breath hitting your face. The brunette moved away as she cleared her throat, hiding her pink-tinted cheeks with her silky sable locks.

The model rolled you out of the van and into her the large white building to which she called her home. You looked around the house in awe of how spacious and luxurious it was.

"Wow," you breathed out as she pushed you through the long hallways of her house. You saw endless family photos hanging in the walls as well as framed pictures from what you guessed was from important photoshoots that she's done.

She brought you into a bedroom and a sense of nostalgia washed over you. Looking around the room, you saw a small picture frame on her bedside table. "Is that us?" You wondered curiously and heard the supermodel hum lightly behind you before walking towards the framed photo and picking it up.

"It was a while back actually. Hailey took this photo of us and I decided to frame it 'cause I liked it," she smiled as she rubbed the frame with her thumb. You stared at the photo and caught yourself smiling lightly as your eyes glazed over the silhouette of yours and Kendall's body wrapped in a blanket. With your backs facing the camera, you had a guitar in your lap while Kendall rested her head on your shoulder as the two of you watched the sunset.

You reached out to touch the frame and suddenly six words popped into your head. "I'll go wherever you will go," you silently uttered the words subconsciously as you stared at the photo.

"H-How..?" Kendall breathed out as if she didn't believe what you'd just said. "W-What did you just say?"

"I'll go wherever you will go?" You repeated as you shrugged your shoulders slightly. "Why do you sound like you're in a lot of shock?" You giggled a little bit and she relaxed slightly upon hearing the sound of your laugh.

"It's because I am," she stated slowly and eyed you warily. You kinked your left eyebrow to urge her to continue. "That..." she took a deep breath before continuing, "that was the title of the song you wrote for me when you came back to surprise me before the Grammy's," she revealed and it was then your turn to go into a stage of shock.

"I...remembered something?" You gulped and looked up at the tall model who had a hopeful smile plastered on her face.

"Yes!" She announced gleefully and you smiled over her excitement. "What else? Do you remember anything else?" You furrowed your eyebrows, trying to remember anything from that night.

"A bear..." you said slowly as you shut your eyes to concentrate. "And flowers?" You opened your eyes to find a glossy eyed Kendall Jenner. You scratched the back of your head and shot her a crooked smile. "That's it, though. Even those memories are still fuzzy. I'm not even entirely sure that those are right," you confess with a nervous laugh but the brunette shakes her head and offers you a big smile.

"No! They were completely on point. You gave me a bouquet of roses and a teddy bear. It was my surprise," she revealed and you smiled happily as you finally remembered something.

Maybe it was smallest detail, really small. But that was okay. You'd eventually get there in the end, even if it means taking the smallest steps.

***

"How's your arm been since we took the cast off?" Your doctor asked you, writing something on his clipboard before turning his attention towards you. You nodded while sending him a small smile.

"Not too bad, I guess. I mean, I'm still getting used to using my hand again but it's not that sore anymore," you informed him confidently and he smiled warmly before writing something down on his clipboard.

"Good, good. That's good. And the medication? How's that going?"

"Well...is it supposed to be working? I mean the pain's barely there but in terms of my memory," you pause as you try to think back on the past two weeks. "I've only remembered the smallest details. But I guess I'm getting there slowly."

"When was the last time you remembered something, Y/N?" He asked you curiously yet his voice was calm and smooth. You didn't feel pressured which was helpful in the sense of confiding information to the middle aged doctor.

"Nearly three weeks ago, I guess. It wasn't a major thing. Just a couple of presents I got my friend," you shook your head and released an aggravated sigh but he smiled warmly at you.

"That's good, Y/N. For someone who we thought would never get a single memory back, you're doing great. Just relax and don't try to rush into things. Step by step, alright? You'll get there eventually."

"I hope so."

***

After your short appointment with your doctor, Kendall drove the two of you home. The car ride was more joyful than the last with it being filled with light banter and gleeful laughter. You realised within the three weeks of living with the long legged supermodel that you'd found joy in hearing her infectious laugh and it was as if your mind immediately blurted cheesy one liners or horrible jokes to hear the sweet sound more often.

"Oh! I got you something!" Kendall left you alone in the lounge to bolt up the stairs. You chuckle to yourself as you see the brunette use her long legs to her advantage, climbing the seemingly endless staircase. Your eyes dart around the furnished living room only to land on a piece of paper with a necklace placed on top of it. You don't know why the sudden folded up sheet took an interest to you but before you could satisfy your curiosity, Kendall rushed back to her previous spot with a box in her hands.

"What's this?" You smirked curiously at the brunette and she smiled, holding the wrapped gift towards you and nodding. You took it and eyed her warily before tearing open the wrapping paper as she nodded. "An iPhone?"

"Yeah, you wrecked your last one so I decided to go out and buy you a new one," she tugged her bottom lip in between her teeth as the two of you drew eye contact. You could feel her anxiousness and insecurities rising as you prolonged your reply. "Do you not like the colour? I can go swap it if you want. Or maybe you don't even like apple at all! God, why am I so stupid? I should've asked y—" the brunette rambled frantically, running her hands through her short sable locks.

"Kendall," you cut her off gently with a thankful smile. "Thank you," she let out a sigh of relief and smiled back. "You didn't have to get one for me though. I'm sure I could afford my own."

"It was no problem, Y/N. Seriously. You're not the only millionaire in the world, you know," she joked and you shook your head, a wide grin making its way onto your face as you unboxed the thousand dollar present. "I didn't know which colour to get you so I got you the same one as your previous phone."

"Well, it's a good thing that my favourite colour is still matte black, isn't it?" You smirked and powered the new phone on to find it already charged. The phone had every single social media app, music apps and photography apps. "I don't recall Apple pre-downloading all these apps on the phones?"

"I did that, actually..." the model confessed and you kinked an eyebrow. "Saves you all the hardships. You should be thankful," she cracked a joke and you let a light laugh slip past your lips.

"How could I ever repay you, dearest Kendall?" You retort sarcastically and turn to open the Instagram app, only to find yourself already logged in. "Oh, so you know all my passwords too, huh?"

"Your management does," she clarifies with a nod and you laugh. Scrolling through your profile, you land on many pictures of you and Kendall but none of you and Taylor. Furrowing your eyebrows, you decided to click on a picture of Kendall on a cliff using a vintage camera to photograph the blue-yellow-pink ombré sunset.

@Y/U/N: @kendalljenner since you're the photographer, can you picture us together anytime soon? 💞

Scrolling through more photos, you find yourself laughing at your cheesy captions that also manage to make over half a million people laugh too. You sense a reoccurring pattern; Kendall was usually your muse for the photos and nearly all captions had her tag in them.

Seeing more and more of these photos, you laugh at yourself and Kendall picks up your sudden joyfulness. "What?" She questions and leans over your shoulder to get a better look your screen.

"Have I always been this cheesy?" You asked while scrolling through even more pictures of you and Kendall.

"Oh, yeah," she dragged the word out and laughed at the end. "I recall you saying something along the lines of 'If being charming is impressive in your eyes, then I'd charm you every single day,' when we first met," she confirmed your suspicions teasingly as she enjoyed seeing you squirm and cringe uncomfortably.

"I'm supposed to be cringey at fourteen, not eighteen!" You cried out in embarrassment as Kendall only laughed at your expression. You cracked a smile upon hearing the joyous sound. "Can you...uh..." you trailed off scratching the back of your head awkwardly as you looked down towards the ground.

"Can I...?" She repeated curiously before you locked eyes with a pair of soft chestnut orbs.

"Can you maybe tell me more about myself? I mean, the person that I used to be before— you know..." you asked shyly and shot her a crooked smile. The model's smile had widened, if it were possible, upon hearing your request and crossed her long tanned legs on the sofa.

"What would you like to know?"

You found yourself talking to the beautiful brunette for hours on end, constant laughter and banter going back and forth between the two of you as you conversed about your past experiences. You asked questions and she gladly answered all of them, satisfying your suspicions as she reminisced on the times you two had shared.

She told you about your music career, how you raised to superstardom at sixteen and how you instantly became one of the most loved musicians in the industry. According to Kendall, you treated your fans as if they were your family and you always stayed humble. You were never disrespectful to paparazzi unless the situation called for it, which completely blew your mind seeing as you've gotten a taste of how annoying they can be. And it also helps that your music always manages to top the charts.

She explained how the two of you came to meet and how you instantly became good friends after a late night chat session and breakfast at your favourite diner. You took her to your favourite hang out spot before meeting with the rest of the "model squad". Throughout the whole story, you felt a sense of familiarity overcome you.

Throughout the past couple weeks of living with Kendall, you'd learned more about her than you did with your girlfriend. You figured out that when she was confused, she'd slightly tilt her head to the right as her perfectly shaped eyebrows furrowed. When she was happy, the crinkles by her whiskey orbs became evident as a wide smile made its way onto her face. She bit her lower lip when she was nervous or when she would tease you and her head would fall backwards as she let out a loud laugh. Despite you and Taylor being best friends since fifth grade, you felt like you'd known Kendall for your whole life. The feeling of warmth that you get when you were around her wasn't the same as what you felt when you were around Taylor.

Checking the time on the clock, you mentally curse to yourself. The older model follows your gaze and realises the same thing. "It's getting late now. We should head off to bed, yeah?" You nod in agreement before Kendall rolls you towards your bedroom on the bottom floor of her two story house.

"Thanks, Kenny," you said as soon as she finished helping you get into bed. She smiled warmly at you as she leaned on your doorframe. You smiled back. "Goodnight."

***

You woke up in the leather passenger seat of a Ferrari 458 Spider. You looked around the luxury car in awe before turning your head to the side, only to find an exact replica of you in the drivers seat. You looked like a mess; your makeup running down your face as endless tears chased after the beauty products. Eye bags were evident under your eyes and your dark hair was disheveled, looking messier than usual.

Suddenly, you felt the car speed up as you drove with your non-dominant hand on the steering wheel. Your other hand clutched a familiar piece of paper and a necklace.

"Hey, Y/N?" You called out to the driver and you turned your head, locking eyes with you. Your own gaze sent goosebumps down your spine as you stared at yourself with lifeless eyes. "You should probably slow down."

"No," you said simply and continued to accelerate the car forward, weaving in and out of the other vehicles on the road, switching lanes whenever you felt like it. Her breath smelled like strawberry flavoured vodka and you scrunched your nose up, not being very fond of the smell.

"If you don't slow down, we're gonna crash," you gripped the leather seat as tight as you could while she continued to maniacally drive, drifting around the corner as she ran a red light.

"Good. I bet crashing won't feel as bad as hurting her," you said as more tears streamed down your face. You clutched the items in your hand as tight as you could while you let out a saddened laugh. You didn't understand why you were so hurt.

"Her? Who's her?" You questioned as you felt the car accelerating forwards even more. You suddenly felt nauseous and your heart dropped to your stomach as the car went at over one hundred miles per hour. Yet no matter how fast the car was going and how endangered you felt, you couldn't help but be extremely curious as to who she was and why you looked so devastated.

"The love of my life. She was the love of my life and I hurt her," you cried out again while punching the steering wheel with your non-dominant hand. "I can't forgive myself. I love her too much. I'm sorry, Y/N," you looked into your own lifeless eyes before you brought your attention to the tree you were nearing. Bracing yourself for the impact, you didn't make a single sound. Instead, you felt a single tear roll down your cheek.

"Y/N!" You jolted awake, panting heavily as you stared into a pair of warm chestnut eyes. You immediately relaxed but your breathing was still ragged. Kendall stroked your hair and hummed softly while remaining eye contact as you tried to calm your breathing. "What happened? I heard you screaming from upstairs..." she said, her voice filled with worry and concern.

"Nothing... just a bad dream," you tried to dismiss your dream but the events replayed in your head like a broken record. It seemed way too realistic for being just a dream.

"Want to talk about it?" She asked carefully and you nodded subtly. The pretty model gave you a small yet encouraging smile before you took a deep breath.

"It was weird. It felt so... real," you furrowed your eyebrows. "I was in a car... a Ferrari I think. I don't know but it was really nice, leather seats and everything. Then I look to the side and I'm driving? But I'm also sitting in the passenger seat. I know, trippy right?" She nods and waits for you to continue. But before you do, you feel her hand gently taking yours and interlocking your fingers. Your hands feel like they'd been ignited with fire under her touch. She notices that you were staring at your intertwined fingers and you assume she felt insecure about her actions because you felt her pulling her hand away. Not wanting her to let go, you tightened your grip on her hand and sent her a small smile to which she returned gratefully.

"I don't know what was happening. I looked so... broken, I guess. My eyes were literally lifeless and I looked like I hadn't slept in years. Oh, and I thought the legal drinking age was 21 over here?"

"It is, Y/N," Kendall confirmed and you shook your head. "Why?"

"In the dream, my breath smelled like strawberry vodka. But yeah, I just looked broken. I was driving recklessly too. I didn't have two hands on the wheel, the other hand was holding a piece of paper and a necklace, I think. I don't know what that means but I was also going on about this girl who I presumably hurt," you explained the best that you could and you saw tears pricking at Kendall's eyes.

"What did you say about that girl? The one that you hurt?" She wondered and wiped her eyes with her free hand.

"Something about her being the love of my life? I dunno, I recall myself saying that I loved her before I crashed the car into the tree. Do you know what this means, Ken?" She sniffled and nodded her head slowly.

"You were admitted into the hospital because you crashed your car, Y/N. After the concert you did with Abel, you got drunk and you crashed into a tree," she revealed this information to you and you stared at her dumbfounded.

"No wonder why that felt so real..." you breathed out and Kendall nodded her head. "That was incredibly stupid of me, wasn't it?" You tried to make light of the situation and Kendall nodded, the faintest of smiles playing on her lips.

"Yeah, but that's in the past now. What matters is that you're alive and on the road to recovery," she strokes the back of your hand with her thumb in gentle circles.

"Do you know who I was referring to in the dream? The love of my life? Did I hurt Taylor?" Kendall almost looked hurt for a second before composing herself quickly.

"I wish I could tell you, Y/N, but I think you've been through a lot tonight. Maybe some other time, alright?" You agreed and the model smiled warmly at you. "Will you be okay tonight?"

"Can you stay the night?" You found yourself blurting out. Your eyes went wide as Kendall's cheeks turned a shade of pink. "I mean— only if you want to. Y-You don't have to. I think I'll be fi—"

You cut yourself off mid sentence as you felt Kendall removing the duvet from over top of you. Using your common sense, you moved over to accommodate the leggy brunette as she tucked herself between your blankets.

"Is...this okay...?" She asked as she put her head on your chest and you sighed in contentment. You don't know why you felt so content but it was a feeling you could get used to. Wrapping your arms around her shoulder gave her the confidence to cuddle further into your chest without hurting you. It was then her turn to sigh in contentment and you smiled.

"This is perfect."
