Emily's POV
After my chemistry class ( believe me when I say I avoided sneaking glances at him), I sat down on my desk to read one of my favorite novel, "Revenge". I recently got it from a nearby bookshop and boy was I enjoying it. I practically read it any time I had a free period. Adrian and his friends (as usual) left the class probably to go play football, but who cares? *Rolls eyes*
"Worwor shaid, aren't you going to the cafeteria?", asked Nina as she walked over to my desk. Did I mention her mum was a Nigerian?
"Not hungry. I have to finish this book today. I don't want Ara to fall in love with Nathan so that she can exact her revenge on him", i replied, not taking my eyes off the book. Nina doesn't really like reading novels, she prefers movies.
"Alright ugly girl. Should I get you anything?", she asked, already halfway to the door.
"Yeah", I replied. "Tell Nathan i love him", I said sarcastically, smiling at Nina.
"Sure i will", replied Nina as she laughed and left the class. Thank goodness I wasn't the only one there.
Few minutes later, deeply engrossed in the book, i felt two hands over my eyes. Guessing it was Nina, I said" Hope you've delivered my message to Nathan? You know he lives on love and he will die the moment I stop confessing my love for him". Immediately I finished, the person drew back and lingered the hands on my shoulder. Amused, I turned back to eat whatever junk Nina must have bought only to find the most clearest grey eyes staring at me!!!
Nathan!!!! I gasped. I was so embarrassed that for a moment I wished he was deaf. He just smiled at me and asked me what i was reading and all that stuff. All the while we were talking, my mind went blank with surprise. Like, was this the guy I talked to two days ago?? He was so sweet and matured and cute as ever. I was so grateful he didn't bring up what I said earlier.
Just then, I knew things were really going to be smooth between us and maybe...just maybe he will ask me out for prom. I just can't wait!!!
But he still didn't answer my previous question and I didn't bother asking him.
