*Lexus p.o.v*
I ran as fast as i could. As i ran my body felt heavy. My legs felt as if they would give out any second. but i keep on running. I had to do it for them. for Peter and Hunter. I keep on running passing trees and more it all seemed so weird. new for me. How long had it been since that day?
I stopped and looked at y empty hand. It felt like it had lost the weight it held. all the love it had. and all the faith it had once been given. i pushed back those thoughts and memories and keep on running.
I was hard to know where t go since i hadnt spent much time at the pack house since my arrival. I wondered how i would find it right now in this darkness.
"I know where it is trust a bit" my wolf said
'I do but we are weak and anything could happen" i said and she knew i was right. the ceremony. my death. had taken a lot of energy. I was weak and if i didnt rest soon i would pass out.
"we must keep going." she said and i nodded and keep on going.
"Can i shift" i asked and she thought for a second
"not right now we must not stop something isnt right" my wolf said and i ran faster
i could feel what she meant/. the woods had changed yet they looked the same. Someone was also out here with me. I didnt dare look bad afraid of what i would find. Or what would find me.
'We are close" my wolf said and i hurried and then the house came into sight i smiled and slowed down and looked at it. I fell to my knees tired
"we made it" i said to my wolf
"i told you we would you just have to trust me a bit more okay" and i couldnt help but laugh at her a bit.
'i know i know i am sorry" i said and stud up and looked around
'where are the guards" i asked
"i dont know" she said that set me off. The pack from what i knew always had guards. Why werent they here right now
"This doesnt seem right" i said
"I know" my wolf answered. i walked to the front door and fell down o the stairs. tired and sleepy. I cant keep going i need to rest a bit i thought to myself and closed my eyes.

*Hunter p.o.v.*
We arrived to the house and we ran to the front door. there lay Lexus asleep. peter told me to take her inside the house and up to her room meanwhile he went for the pack doctor. I nodded and headed inside with her.
What was strange i had not seen any guards on the way here. Non at all. This was weird.
I carried to our room. On the way there i got some stares and some people immedietly saw it was Lexus i was carrying. They all started to talk and more.
Inside the room i set her on the bed and removed her dress and put some of my boxers and shirts on her. it was better than her ripped bloodstained dress
"Please dont" lexus mummured and i looked at her what did she mean
'lexus wake up" i whispered but she only stirred
"She must be having a bad dream" my wolf said
"Must be about amelia" i answered.
"Most likely" he said and i stared at her until Peter came i with the doctor
"where was she" the doc asked
'with amelia" peter said
the doctor looked at us with wide eyes. "You say amelia how did you get Lexus back? where is amelia now" he asked
"Yes we got her back as you can see" peter answered
"Amelia is dead" i said and the doctor stud up
'What!" he screamed
"Doctor lexus" peter said and the doc went on with checking lexus when he was done he said
"She needs rest. she has tied herself out. When she wakes up tell her to shift and thats it" He said and walked out.
"thank you hunter" peter said to me
"Why" i asked
"because you helped save my mate. you keep her safe and then helped me keep her alive thank you" he said and i could see he was honest
"I did it because i love her." i said
"thanks anyways" he said and i just nodded
"Just keep her safe. She deserves a happy ending. she has been through a lot and she deserves at least that much." i said
"she does but not with me. I have seen the way you look at her. The way you are around her. You love her and you have proven it. the thing with Michaela was nothing. It didnt happen. I saw you didnt do it she did. and i dont lame any of you but you at least did something i never did. You made Lexus happy. She is happy" he said
"But she is you r mate and i dont want to get inbetween tat. promised the day that her mate came and realized his mistake i would let her go so she would be happy with him i know what it is living without a mate and i dont want someone else to suffer because iknow what it feels like. You guys deserve a happy ending together" i said and nodded as my heart broke apart.
I Love her but i knew the promise i had made and i wasnt about to be vain and not go on with it. It had to be done and my wolf and i knew it. We knew the time would come.
"But what about you" he asked
"dont worry. i will have my happy ending some ay for now its yours and hers." i said
"But you guys are to be married i know you are hurting for her" he insisted
"i am but dont not right now it is hard enough just go and make her happy" i said and before i left...
"Thank you for everything Hunter. I really hope you are happy with someone you love" he said and i smiled and walked out the room. People were waiting down the stairs for news but i wasnt their alpha to give them any news. It was Peter who had to do it. I went down the stairs and out to the backyard and sat on the grass
I stared at the full moon as tears came
"I love you Lexus" i said
"You did the right ting" my wolf said
"I know but why does it hurt so much" i asked
"because you truly did care for her and so did i" he said "We will find someone" he continued but i tuned him out.
I wanted to be alone for a bit to let it all sink it. to make sense of it. Lexus would wake up soon and she would know of what had happened. She would know i did it for that reason.

*peter p.o.v.*
I watched as he walked out of the room in pain. He had truly loved her. he still does i can see that. But only he would be able to change his mind. I had seen today that Hunter wasnt what i had thought he was.
He was a true fearless brave warrior. Much more than what i was. he fought with such a ability . something i didnt have. I didnt have any more hate to him. Not because of him giving my mate back but because he had been the better man and admitted to me so much.
Who was to say that Lexus didnt want me and that once she woke up would want him instead of me. FI she wanted him i wouldnt stand in the way because i knew of the pain i had caused.
I felt her stir and i looked at Lexus.
"lexus i love you" i said and kissed her lips slowly and soflty
She kissed me back and my heart raced at the affection of my mate
"Dont make a mistake" my wolf warned
and i knew what he meant he didnt want em to make our make unhappy again. She had been through enough. I lifted my head as Leuxs opened her eyes and smiled at me
"Hi" she said
"Hey" i said and took her hand in mine
"Thank you" she said and i knew what she was thanking me for
"It was nothing. It was actually hunter" i said
"where is he" she asked and i looked away
"Whats wrong" she asked
"nothing. doctor wants you to shift just a for a minute or two to help set anything wrong" i said, she nodded. I turned around she shifted into her wolf. I petted her head and she closed her eyes.
"Your so beautiful" i said and she opened her eyes and looked at me I turned around and she shifted back and got dressed into some black jeans and a ruffled blue shirt. She combed her hair and put vans on.
"COme on" she said and i followed ehr
"You okay ." i asked and she nodded
The whole pack seemed to be waiting for us "Welcome everyone. As you can see we have gotten back Lexus Casey Ville." i said and everyone cheered We smiled and went downstairs we sat in the kitchen she only ate fruits.
"Where is hunter" she asked me again
"Outside. We have some things we have to talk about" i said and she nodded
"continue" she said
"Hunter wants you to be happy. i want you to be happy. Hunter wants you to be happy with your mate. he doesnt want any of us to go what he went through. I told him i want you to be happy by your choice but he says you will never be as happy as you will with me" I said and she looked at me
"i love you peter. but i love him." she said looking at her hand and i noticed her ring was gone i took her hand
"You choose i wont hate you i want you to be happy and not regret any of it okay" i said and kissed her forehead
She looked at me and didnt say anything we looked at each other for a few minutes before she looked away and out the window
"You want to talk to him?" i asked
She nodded her head "go ahead" i said
She smiled at me and kissed my cheek and left outside
*doctor p.o.v.*
i couldnt believe that amelia was dead! she couldnt be. amelia was immortal. she couldnt be killed not even by her own kind except noone knew that except for a few. I was one of them i had gotten to know amelia through out the years.
I had found her lost in the streets and given her a home when she was young. Eventually she found her mate and moved in with him. Years later i got news from her. I became the pack doctor thanks to her. She then became pregnant. i delivered her baby. Lexus. I knew what amelia had gone through and what she was capable of.
She wouldnt die just like that. Something was off. I headed back to my home and studied the blood samples i took from LEeus when treating her.
The blood was unusal just like her mothers. lexus was truly something else. But what?
