(The Mother Dimension)
Worlds far from each other are bound into one entity, she who made the worlds the way they are, she who is void of nothing...
Beyond the swirls of energy and void, lay the Queen of creation, she who exists to create, to renew, to bring life... The Mother Dimension as her domain, and there she stays for eternity...
Si: "...What unravels you my dear...?"
From her view, there she saw multiple fluctuations inside one single dimension... Its light was flickering, and shadow loomed over it...
Si: "...Have I the right to interfere...?"
...The Queen questions it... She is pretending to have a companion, but alas, all that she has are the dust and countless parts from which she creates her daughters...
Si: "...Yet another one, seeks my aid..."
She hears the cry of one lost being... a small child's cry shakes her to reality...
Si: "...Then come to me... Come to my realm, and I shall face you..."
The Queen rises, she walks forward yet no ground existed beneath her... A Queen of the empty space, a dimension with no one but her... No enemy, No ally, Only her...
She walks again...Towards a world filled with many wonders, and then from it, an orb of light floats to her, it was pale and hardly shined at all, for a moment she wondered...
Si: "...Might there be something amiss my dear...?"
She questions the small orb of light, but no answer is returned to her, and yet she stares at the small orb and from it she took out one small spec of dust... within that small spec contained memories of a lost lamb...
Si: "...I see... You are hurt, yes?"
This light was not just an orb, it was a soul... a soul of someone who longed to be reunited with the one they adore...
Si: "...Fear not my love... You will meet him again... for now, rest your tattered wings, rest with me..."
The soul of light was placed near the Queen's Chest encased in a small locket... There she continuously fed the small light with her own power, literally giving it a new breath of life...
The Queen returns to her spot, there she quietly hums to the soul in her locket, she combs back her pitch black hair and then grabbed a small gear... Which she begins to transform and began to create a new world... Her day continued as per usual...

Nepgear's POV
Nepgear: "No, Neptunio's not with us."
Uni: "I see"
... Uni gave me a call, she told me that we had to face the Deity of Sin again. What the goodness is going on here... Everything is falling apart...
Nepgear: "Okay I got it, we'll meet at the Gamindustry Graveyard Entrance, see ya soon."
...It looks like we'll have to deal with this a lot sooner, considering what Uni told me, it is possible that Neptunio is heading to the Gamindustry Graveyard as well... I need to inform Sis.
Nepgear: "Sis! I think I know where Neptunio is."
Neptune: "Mmm?"
...When I entered her room, countless cups of pudding were scattered on the floor, her mouth was full, and her cheeks were smeared with some of the pudding...
Nepgear: "Bad Neptune! How many cups of pudding did you eat!"
Neptune: "Aww~ Chill out Nep Jr. I only ate a couple of hundred of 'em."
Nepgear: "That's not how grammar works and please clean up after your done."
Neptune: "Yeah, yeah... I just can't sit still you know, I've got these butterflies in my stomach from thinking about Nio..."

...So she's been worried all this time, looking at Sis now made me think of how much she cares for her friends... She's really the best...
Neptune: "When I find him I'll make him pay for keeping secrets from me! First he'll treat me to pudding, then take me to a pudding eating contest, and finally he will organize a pudding fiesta in honor of me! HA! HA! HA!"
...W-well I guess that's just how she cares...? Maybe?
Neptune: "So you said you know where he is?"
Nepgear: "Oh Right! Uni gave me a call, she said that we need to defeat the Deity of Sin."
Neptune: "Okay."
Nepgear: "And since Neptunio is after the Deity then he must be-"
Neptune: "Nio's in the Gamindustry Graveyard!"
...All of a sudden, my sister leaps up and started running towards the exit like a kid who's ready to play...
Nepgear: "Wait! Where are you going!?"
Neptune: "I'm going to find Nio, and have him do what I announced earlier."
Nepgear: "Sis... I forgot to say this but... I'll be going alone..."
Neptune: "What!?"
Nepgear: "I can't let you get near the Cracker no matter what!"
Neptune: "Nep Jr.?"
Nepgear: "I'm sorry Sis, but you'll have to stay here."
Neptune: "...So you know..."
Nepgear: "...Ah!"
...Oh no! I gave it away! she'll start asking... what should I do!?
Neptune: "Tell me Nep Jr. What is Nio hiding from me?"
Nepgear: "...I... I don't know..."
Neptune: "Nepgear!"
...She's furious, this isn't my older sister who smiles and enjoys games all day... I can't really blame her since she's been kept in the shadows for so long...

Neptune: "Hmm... I don't get the whole picture, but I guess it means I'll be in quite a pinch huh."
Nepgear: "S-so you understand now, you can't go near the graveyard, if you do the cracker will get you."
Neptune: "But I thought the cracker was after you Nepgear?"
Nepgear: "Well-"
Neptune: "Ah! Forget I asked, you can't really tell me, right?"
Nepgear: "Y-yeah..."
Neptune: "No big deal, but listen Nep Jr."
Nepgear: "Yes?"
Neptune: "You don't need to protect me. Have some faith in me, I may be like this but, you can count me."
Nepgear: "Sis..."
Neptune: "Now, how about we go together..."

...It makes sense... all this worrying is just going to make feel bad, I need to focus on the positive side of things or I'll just fall short in everything...
And so we decided to go together...
I feel joy... I feel sad... all sorts of emotions surged through me... but at least I can now accept them all with no restraint...

Uni: "Mmm~ hm?"
Morning, I hear the chirping of the birds and the chattering of people outside my room, everyone's already busy, I check my clock and it says 7:11... over an hour late from my usual waking time.
Uni: "Yawn~"
I wash my face and take an early morning bath... strange, it was so peaceful, like my normal everyday life, and yet I felt on edge... Like the whole world could fall apart any second...
After taking a bath, I dried myself up, changed into my clothes and combed my hair. Today is going to be a rough day, I better go and prepare...
I went to my sister's office but no one was there, I guess Sis is still sleeping I went to her bed room, but she wasn't there either, her bed was kept nicely, it's almost like she didn't sleep on it at all, now that's my responsible sister for you.
I looked around and then I found myself in front of Schwarz's room...
Uni: "Hm... I wonder if he's already awake."
I reach for his door... but it's locked...
Uni: "Hmm... I guess I'll check later..."
As I turned I hear the door unlock from the other side and...
Noire: "...Geez... The mark just won't disappear..."
My sister comes out of the room with a hand on her neck...
Uni: "Sis!"
Noire: "Huwah! Uni!?"
...She literally jumped just now, and her face was really terrified.
Uni: "W-what's wrong...?"
Noire: "NOTHING! Nothing at all!"
Uni: "Are you sure? you're sweating a lot."
...Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and she's still holding her neck for some reason.
Noire: "No really I'm fine, I was just surprised, that's all."
...She's still a bit jumpy... Oh well...
Uni: "So you went to check on Schwarz?"
Noire: "Oh! Yeah... He's still asleep though..."
Uni: "I figured... Hm?"
Noire: "Whats wrong?"
Uni: "I just realized something... When I tried the door just now, it was locked... Did you lock the door when you entered Sis?"
Noire: "Oh! Did I? must have been a force of habit, I tend to lock doors when I enter them alone Ahahaha haha! Hahaha..."
Uni: "Oh~ I don't recall you doing that at all."
Noire: "What makes you doubt me so, s-such insolence won't be ignored Uni!"
...She's getting flustered, and then the hand that was holding her neck came pointing at me. And then I saw it...
Uni: "Hm? What's that on your neck?"
Noire: "Ah! Nothing!"
Uni: "No, I definitely saw something!"
Noire: "H-hey! Let go!"
Uni: "No! My sister would never hide anything from me! If you really are my sister then show me what your hiding!"
...This could be someone else, I've heard about shadows taking on the forms of loved ones, so I won't budge until I find out!
Noire: "Uni! Get a hold of yourself and calm down!"
Uni: "Then just show me what you're hiding-! Whoa!"
Noire: "Ahh!"
I pulled so hard that we both end up on the floor,I managed to get her hand of her neck... And there it as, a small mark, kinda red and I actually think their bite marks...
Uni: "Noire, what is this?"
Noire: "That's uh... Right! Something bit me while I was in Schwarz's room, yeah that's it!"
Uni: "That's it? You didn't have to hide that, here I can get that off easily."
Noire: "Ahaha~ Ahahahaha... whew~"
...She breathed a sigh of relief, geez if that was all, there's no need to be so reserved, it's strange though, her face is red and I can tell she's shaking alot...
We were having our breakfast with Schwarz, we decided we'd meet at noon with the others, the plan was simple, gather forces and defeat the Deity, that's the plan in a nutshell.
Uni: "Is that really enough? I mean shouldn't we think this through?"
Noire: "I'd love to, but there really isn't much to go through, plus our time is limited, who knows when the seals will break."
Schwarz: "I know it sounds reckless, but it's all we've got."
Uni: "Okay..."
...If Noire and Schwarz can't think of any other plan, then I guess that just shows how oblivious we all are to this, also...
Uni: "Would you mind telling me why both of you are seated so far from each other?"
Noire: "uhh..."
Schwarz: "*ahem!*"
Huh...? What's with this tense atmosphere? Should I have just stayed quiet?
Uni: "Umm? Is there something going on with you guys?"
Schwarz: "*Twitch!* Uhh... No, nothing... right?"
Noire: "Ahaha~ Yeah, nothing..."

...So we decided to drop the topic and just decided to talk about some random stuff, while they did calm down a bit, they were still far from each other... What the hell?

We woke up to the sound of a phone call, my sister picked it up, Vert was on the other line... Her voice was low and I could tell she was crying... After the call, Blanc told us what happened...
Ram: "What!? Emerald's gone?"
Blanc: "Yeah... Vert called, and I think something happened... She needed to complete the seal since it turns out that Grun's seal was really unstable..."
Weiz: "My brother must have had his reasons... This was a reckless action by him, but I know that he did it knowing the consequences..."
Ram: "No... Emerald... I wanted to play with her more..."
...Emerald... I wasn't particularly close to her, but knowing that someone you knew was now gone, it's really sad... if I feel like this, I can only wonder how Grun and Vert are taking this...
Ram: "Eh?"
...I felt something wet on my cheeks, and then I realized they were tears... I couldn't help it, I was too sad after hearing that...
Luna: "Don't cry Ram..."
Ram: "I'm not crying! I can't cry! I have to do something... for Emerald...aha...waaaaahhhh~!"
Blanc: "Ram..."
It's weird... this crawling sensation on my chest... it aches so bad... there's also something else... I feel this hot feeling... I don't know how to describe it but... its really strange... Its hot... its...
Weiz: "!?"
Luna: "Ram!"
Ram: "huh?"
I didn't even realize but I'm floating above the ground and my hair was shining red like it was on fire, the redness began to spread... It was a warm feeling... but there's that nagging sensation of heat... I can't ignore it...and then...
..."Focus"...
I close my eyes... I feel my senses numbing...
I can feel the stares from my sister and the others...
..."Use your inherited emotions... Win over the welling rage..."
A mark appears on my left arm... if I remember correctly, that's where Amon grabbed me...
..."Harness the power... Feel the exhilaration...but don't lose yourself..."
The voice was garbled... but I know that its a kind voice...
I feel the surge of power go through me, my heart beats fast, finally the red haze starts to clear...
I descend... my feet feels the hard floor it creaks... I lose strength and fall asleep...
Weiz's POV
Weiz: "This Mark... Amon? But how?"
Blanc: "That beast of yours better explain himself."
Luna: "She's just sleeping... but this mark concerns me..."
Weiz: "This never happened in any of our Visions... What the hell is going on!?"
...Ram's sleeping soundly... could this have been caused because she was exposed to Amon yesterday?

Vert's POV
The time is near... We must move... but I fear for Grun... he's still sleeping... I guess I have to wake him up...
I opened the door... And there I found Grun sitting up on his bed his face was downcast with a book in his hand...
He's still downhearted, I can't bare to see him like this...
Vert: "Grun?"
I called for his name when... He falls to the side...
Vert: "Grun!?"
I catch him mid-fall... his hair was covering his face... I gently moved it off... and there I saw...
Drool~~~~
Vert: "Eh?"
He drools and his sticky liquid falls unto my chest...
Grun: "Mmm~"
He Squirms, apparently finding my chest to be a comfortable and then from the covers...
Rom: "Powah~ Fwaaaaaaahhhhhh~"
Comes out little Rom as she yawns...
Vert: "Why Rom, what were you doing here?"
Rom: "Fweh~?"
...She's still half asleep it seems...
Grun: "drool...~"
Vert: "Now you stop drooling on me."
...Ew~ I'm all sticky now... I grabbed my handkerchief and wiped his drool off...
Rom: "Mmm... Fwah! I fell asleep..."
Vert: "Good morning Rom..."
Rom: "Good Morning Miss Vert."
Vert: "Why are you in Grun's room?"
Rom: "He was really sad last night so I asked him to read a funny book with me."
...Sure enough in Grun's hand was a book titled "Punny-Books for Me and You vol. 1"
Rom: "Hehe~ It's really funny you know~ Like this one..."
...Little Rom flips through the pages and reads one phrase...
Rom: "Why was the Skeleton too tired to walk?"
Vert: "Why?"
Rom: "Because he had a skele-TON of work to do!"
...pfft-! No... I must compose myself... I can't laugh to such a lame pun...
Grun: "Ehe...hehehe..."
Vert: "Oh?"
Apparently, he found that funny as well... Grun laughed softly in my arms... he was smiling... and just like that, my worries felt lighter...
Vert: "I won't let that happen again... This time, I will be with you..."
Rom: "Ehehe~"
Vert: "Hm? What is it Rom?"
Rom: "You're so nice Miss Vert."
...My... Who would have thought this little fairy was able to make me blush...
Vert: "Well, you did stay up late so I guess we'll let you sleep a bit more..."
After carefully laying him down on the bed... I took Rom and told her of our plan... Blanc has reunited with Weiz and Ram, I've also sent Noire the details for the plan... but even with this plan... I'm still anxious, will we be able to save Neptune?

Meanwhile in the Gamindustry Graveyard...
A crackle of thunder... a flash of lightning, someone is fighting...
Thorns erupt from the ground racing towards a fleeing target, the intensity of the attacks was matched by the purple blur, he dashes, he slides, jumps, slashes, cuts and dodges...
Genesis: "Tch!"
Cracker: "Come on, is that all you've got?"
The Cracker sneers, he stands there motionless. but his eyes follow Genesis like a deadly missile... he flicks his wrist and numbers start to appear in the air, they combine and there formed a small flying object, he did this four more times... Four floating sentry like objects followed Genesis as they relentlessly fired lasers at him...
Genesis: "Agh!"
He is hit, he fumbles to the ground, the objects aim at him from above, he kicks the ground propelling himself away from the blast zone...
The ground was scorched, the smell of burning soil invades his nostrils and he coughed, the Cracker took this opportunity to summon thorns from below...
Genesis: "That's Enough!"
Digging his blade into the ground, Genesis annihilates the thorns from below, he charged his blade with electricity and raised it high into the air, the atmosphere was full of electricity, this short circuited the flying objects causing them to explode on sight.
Genesis: "...Hmph!"
He zips behind the Cracker, he swings his blade through the Cracker's body, but to no avail, the beinng before him merely buzzed, distorted, and disappeared.
Cracker: "You're no match from me..."
Genesis: "kh!"
The Cracker reappeared behind him and with a deadly thorn in hand, he fires it at Genesis, impaling him through the shoulder...
Genesis: "AGHHHH!!!!!!"
The warrior falls back a few meters away from the Cracker...
his shoulder is injured he couldn't raise his weapon anymore... right now his legs are his only hope while his shoulder heals...
Genesis: "Atas! Cyfer!"
Two names were called, the warrior's body radiates a blue and white hue. The Cracker raised his hand... numbers appeared once again, this time they fused to form two blades, grabbing hold of them, the Cracker charges forward...
Genesis POV
The bastard can actually fight in close combat!? He swings his blade at me but it was slow and I easily dodged it... figuring that it was my chance to retaliate I hack away, but then the being before me blurred and then it disappeared, my senses told me that he's behind me, I instinctively dropped down, and sure enough a blade barely cuts my hair...
Genesis: "Ha!"
I swing my sword again, but just like last time, he vanished and reappeared somewhere else.
Genesis: "Bastard how are you doing that!?"
That was not speed, I couldn't even see it! It's like he vanished and then reappeared out of nowhere... Teleportation?
Cracker: "Hmph!"
Genesis: "Gah!"
He vanished for a second and reappeared in front of me, I double backed but then he summons a spike from behind me, with my momentum getting the better of me, my back meets the sharp point of the spike, I'm pierced, a hole is present on my chest, the spike pulls back...
Genesis: "AGHHH!!! GAHHH!!!"
Then it pierces me again... and again... and again....
Cracker: "The Deity has risen... you might as well just give up."
Genesis: "Kha! And let you rule all dimensions? Tough luck punk!"
Cracker: "Why do you even try...? It's hopeless for you to fight... and believe me, beating the crap out of someone with the same face is not fun."
Genesis: "Well, that's ironic, I really like beating this face to a pulp though..."
Cracker: "Tch."
He clicks his tongue and raised his hand... Four spikes pierce my legs... I was rooted to the ground...
Cracker: "Get out..."
He punctures my right shoulder one last time, then released my feet, after that he summons a large hammer and swings it at me...
Genesis: "AGHHHHH!!!!!"
The impact was intense, like being smacked by Blanc 10 times over... and that ain't no joke... I was sent flying, further and further... I was powerless...? What the hell is this!? After all this I just lose like that!?
I fall down... my body hits a hard rock protruding on the ground, my head smacks a tree, my injured arm gets snagged in thorns...
The pain was excruciating... but more than that... I can't believe I lost...
Neptunio: <I guess he's just too fast for us...>
Genesis: "Nonsense... no one's faster than us... He was using some sort of teleportation."
Neptunio: <I doubt it... if he was, then we should have been able sense distortions in the space around us... But its like he literally comes out of nowhere...>
Genesis: "Yeah... Kh!"
...My arm was still injured... Hurry it up Eelze! we gotta get that Cracker, before Neptune gets to him!
Neptunio: <Looks like we really can't stop it huh...>
Genesis: "Dude... I'm sorry..."
Neptunio: "No use fighting destiny buddy..."
Genesis: <So you're giving up?>
...We switched... The guys got no more juice in him...
Neptunio: "How many time's have we challenged him?"
Genesis: <I don't know... I lost count...>
...We've been fighting him again and again... but we just couldn't beat him... The bastard's got some nasty tricks off his sleeves...
Neptunio's POV
... I knew from the beginning... we can't change the foretold events... what will happen will happen...
Suddenly, there was a flash in the sky, brighter than the sun, brighter than anything...
Genesis: <What is that...?>
After the light vanished, a swirling void appeared in the cracked sky... It's just like that day... many... many years ago... But there's a difference...
This void had 4 locks attached to it, keeping anyone from entering... 4 locks, 4 goddesses, each is a key to a lock and as long as they are here in the side of light, the deity will never be able to pass through it...
But... if this goes on... eventually the light will fade and if the deity reaches the Mother Dimension, I can only imagine what will happen next...
I close my eyes... in the darkness I see her, pierced through the heart... darkness approaching her with no mercy, her eyes turn red, she stares at me, Her bright smile is now replaced by a vindictive sneer... This is her future? Do I have to accept it? Should I... just give up...?
Neptunio: "NO!"
...I won't let it happen... She will be saved! Even if my life is the cost! For My friends, My people, My Nation... My WORLD! I won't let them down!
I gather all the remnants of my will, It surges through my body, the will to protect everyone, the will to save them all, it lights a bright flame within my broken soul, I scream it out, my love for everyone, they will hear my cry!
Neptunio: "AGHHHH!!!!! LIGHT SPEED! ENGAGE!"
I ran... my steps caused sparks to take into the air... I ran towards my enemy, the CRACKER!
Neptunio: "Did ya miss me!?"
Cracker: "What the-!?"
He was taken by surprise, I swing, he vanished, I move to a safe location, with my current speed, he wasn't able to perceive my movements, I scan the area, he reappears from where he stood, I charge again...
Neptunio: "Hehe!"
Cracker: "Gah!"
I kick him down, his face meets the muddy ground of the graveyard.
Neptunio: "So what's Crackin cracker? Why don't you disappear now?"
Cracker: "Tch."
...He moves his gaze to my feet... no to ground actually... why though... wait a minute...
I took a slow step forward, he readies his swords... I charge at him, I swing, He blurs... but then I immediately went back to the place I was originally standing on... His blurring stops and his face shows a shocked expression.
Cracker: "Ah!"
Genesis: <So that's how you do it...>
...It wasn't speed, nor teleportation... He's reloading... like a save feature in a game... he marks a spot as a saved location, so he can load it later...
Neptunio: "Clever little sneak..."
Cracker: "Tch."
He touched the ground, a small circle appears then vanishes, I swing blade at him, he ducks down and kicks me back, this time he runs straight to me,
Cracker: "Take this!"
Neptunio: "Too slow..."
Cracker: "GAHHH!!!"
I dodge to the right, and attacked with the blade, I hit him, his left arm was severed... but then he blurs and disappears, he then reappears to where the Circle was, and his arm wasn't severed anymore...
Neptunio: "Cheating slick."
Cracker: "Well... this ability did cost me an arm and a leg to get... so using it this way is the best compensation after going through hell and back..."
Neptunio: "Going through hell and back? How exactly...?"
Cracker: "Beats me kid, All I know, is that I wanna go home... no... more like, GET my home back..."
Genesis: <Oh we've heard buddy.>
Neptunio: "Your world's demise was your own fault, taming your goddesses and deities you got what you deserve. "
Cracker: "Ahahaha... What I desevered? No... I didn't want that to happen... They all just did that without me knowing... and it was gone...just like... But If I get to the source of all creation, then maybe... just maybe, I can get it all back..."
Neptunio: "So you're going to risk all of our lives... just so you could see if you can recreate your destroyed dimension!?"
Cracker: "What have I to lose, I'm willing to take any life just to see this through, now that the Deity is awake, all that's left standing before me and my dream is you and your pathetic allies..."
Neptunio: "Go to hell!"
We clash blades... It was a fight in hopes to recreate life and to save lives... We had to give it our all, we face off with sparks flying off from every direction... one faulty error will spell the doom for the other...
Clangs of metal resounded in the graveyard, sparks of electricity filled the air, zaps of lasers and buzzing images wasted the canvas of the dreaded place...
The void hung low... The four lights shined... For the future... I will fight with all my might...
Genesis and Neptunio: "AGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Our roar was louder than ever, our blade carried the thunderous will that our souls had... And now we fight... to reach the never fading light....
Meanwhile...
Si: "Hmm? What's that...?"
From the corner of her eye a white crack is found on a small world, the world where the light in her locket came from, sparks of light and clouds of smoke came flooding in... She takes a step closer to the crack, her pale hand touches it... the light pulsates, as if it was calling for help... She hides her gears for creation and and holds the small world in her arms... she closes her eyes, her body emits a warm light...
Si: "...Do not cry my dear... I am here..."

Skele-TON - this is a pun from Sans in the game Undertale.
Save / Load - is the most basic function of every game, this ability was mastered by the Cracker after going through countless dimensions and the dangers they offered him...

Boy, we're going deeper down the rabbit hole huh? Ahaha~ Got really hooked on Undertale this time :D It was a fun little game with many twists and turns.
So how was this chapter? I'll be bringing everyone together next chapter, so look forward to that, time to get everyone on one massive rumble against the Deity and the Cracker.
