I was walking towards my last class of the day when I was pulled aside by none other than Kyle Brooks. His blonde hair styled up flawlessly and blue eyes piercing mine with a smirk like the devils'. It has been 3 days since I last saw him in class, Lucas as well, but I thought nothing of it. Now, though, with a determined glint in his eyes, I knew he was planning something new this month.

Every month, Kyle became determined to screw me, like clockwork. He'd throw some big, extravagant plan to make me swoon, but it never worked. Most of the campus thought he was in love with me, and the small rest of the portion believed his father was forcing him to get me so that they could merge companies with my father.

But I knew him better than that and knew he was just a horny fucker.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "What do you want now, Kyle?" I leaned back onto the white college walls, eager to end any interaction with him.

"Come on, babe. You know you wanna screw me just as badly as I wanna screw you, so why don't we skip the chase and jump right in, to bed that is." He winked as he leaned forward, placing a hand on the wall next to my face. He knew better than to touch me without permission.

"Can we get this over with, please? I'm going to be late to class." I glared, letting him know I wasn't joking and that he would regret this if he got me late to class. His eyes flashed but he got on with it.

"Winter break is coming up in a week, the guys and I were thinking of taking a little ski trip to Colorado. One of the guys has a house near a lodge there, and we were hoping you could come and bring some chicks, yeah?" He wiggled his brows, letting the unspoken words between us insinuate everything he wanted to say.

Kyle might be an idiot, but he was a talented one. He got in for guitar play, no scholarship but there was no doubt he was an incredible player. And the girls loved him for it. He never took it seriously, but was so talented he didn't even have to try. If he did he'd be top in the school. I hated him for it. I had to work harder than anyone else to get to where I was, and all he had to do was bad his lashes at daddy and get him in with connections.

But Kyle was delicate, to say the least. Our encounters were always carefully trodden, any wrong move could make him angry, and although he didn't get angry very often, when he did it tended to make a statement. The statue in front of the school, now covered in tarp and CAUTION tape, was an example of that.

"I'll think about it, ok?" I said, not promising anything but appeasing him for now. "But right now I have to go to class, and if I'm late, the answer will definitely be no." He smirked once more and stepped back away from me, lifting his arms up in a "surrender" motion. I sent him a mocking smile and walked away.

"See you soon, babe." I rolled my eyes and walked into class just as the bell rang. He got lucky.

I made my way to the seat beside Heather. She'd been awfully quiet these last couple of days, but then again I've seen her smile more than ever before. Whichever boy she's screwing must be a good one. I made a mental plan to find out who it was.

The lecture went on and I thought about Kyle's request. I could easily round up a group of girls to take, Jenny would be a shoo-in, Heather as well. But I'd need 4 other girls to fit with Kyle's boys, background people. I scowled at the thought. And a ski trip, or in my case snowboard, would be very within my interests. With my decision in mind, I turned to Heather with a big smile just as the professor finished.

"So, Kyle is going with the boys to Colorado for a ski trip during winter break. Private lodge, all expense paid. You're coming." I gave her no option to reject, not that she would anyway, as I packed my laptop. "Also, find two other girls to go, you know for the other boys." She twisted her face in confusion.

"But there are 7 of them, aren't there? Kyle, Lucas, Michael, and like 4 other people." I rolled my eyes at her.

"James, Tyrese, Gabe, and Rob. I'm taking Jenny with me and then I'm inviting two girls. Should I let Jenny pick instead?" I asked her, fluttering my lashes with a mocking smile.

"No, I'm fine." She smiled back with a glare of her own.

"Perfect! Dinner time. I'm starving." I winked at her. I knew she was starving, but she'd been on a strict diet nearly her whole life and only ate the healthiest foods she could find. I, on the other hand, had an incredibly fast metabolism and had to eat an insane amount just to stay alive, let alone fit for ballet. To say she was jealous was an understatement.

We sat down at a table, Heather carrying a salad, while I had a steak burger and french fries. She eyed my food with a watering mouth but put on a face of disgust. "How you can eat that is beyond me," I smirked to myself.

"I grew up in Wisconsin, of course, this is the kind of food I eat." I took a large bite, moaning at the taste of oil and meat. I saw Heather glare out of the corner of my eye, and open her mouth to say something. But just as I swallowed, Kyle sat down beside me and Lucas beside Heather.

"Don't worry, babe. I'll have you moaning much louder than that." Kyle winked as he stole a fry.

"Judging from you last pool party I doubt you could." I mocked knowing the sentence was anything but truth and moving my food away from him. "What are you doing here, Kyle?" He shrugged.

"I saw my girl and decided to sit with her." I rolled my eyes.

"And the boys?" I asked, taking another bite, completely unashamed of my eating habits. Those who cared already knew about my metabolism, considering those who cared knew everything about me, so I didn't care who watched as I ate quite gracefully considering the meal.

"Well, Lucas's here. The rest of the boys went to watch some freshman in the dance course." I sighed.

"So we get the pleasure of your company."

"I'm fine with it." Heather peeped, smiling at Kyle. But her eyes seemed distant, focused on something else. She was distracted. Now, what in the world could possibly get Heather Vand distracted.

Lucas, on the other hand, was looking at me with a smirk, his hands under the table and his arms flexing just the tiniest bit. I knew he wasn't disgusting enough to do anything in the cafeteria and I seemed to be the only one who noticed it. So I pretended I didn't.

"Thanks, Heather." Kyle winked at her, but she barely noticed.

"Kyle, by the way, we're coming on the trip," I told him, dropping a fork off my plate. Without warning, I bent down under the table to get it, and my eyes widened significantly before I went back up. Lucas's hand moved quickly but not fast enough. Heather's face was red with embarrassment, but she didn't say anything. I didn't say anything either, but simply smiled and pretended I saw nothing.

"Who's we?" He asked, taking another fry.

"Stop taking my fries and I'll tell you." I glared while he chuckled backing off. "Heather, Jenny and I are coming. I'm inviting two other girls and so is Heather so each of your boys has a toy to play with. Any preferences?" I asked, ignoring the analyzing gaze set on me.

"Yeah, actually." Chad pulled out his phone and started listing them off. "Carly a freshman, Blair and Jennifer, sophomores, and Ginger, a junior." I made a mental note, already matching up who was going to go with who and when I was going to ask.

"Alright, Jenny will take Blair and Jennifer, Heather can take Carly and Ginger." Her status wasn't as high as mine or Jenny's in the school, so she was going to have to make an impression on the freshman, a hassle no doubt. But she knew what I saw, and simply nodded. I licked the oil off my fingers with a smirk. "All settled."

An awkward silence settled over the table, Lucas and Heather both too tense to say anything and Kyle texting on his phone. So I decided to start a little conversation. "So you guys are siblings right?" I asked, propping my chin in my hand, suppressing the grin that was threatening to come out.

Heather cleared her throat. "Half-siblings." I tilted my head in question.

"But you guys are the same age, aren't you?" They were in the same grade so...

"I'm 22. I took some time off and started at the same time as her." I raised my brow with a smirk.

"Wonder why." They both knew it wasn't really a question. "Then how come I haven't seen you in the last 3 years?"

"I transferred, from Stanford." I nodded taking in the information.

"Alright, well I've got to get back to the sorority. I love those girls." I sighed in content, though it was all but real.

"Just like that girl Casey?" He said with an accusing tone but I rolled my eyes.

"Her name was Cally, first of all, and she got what she'd been asking for months." I shrugged and stood.

"You kicked another girl out?" Heather asked shocked. "You just did like, last month."

"And she pissed in the sink. 16 times." I stated.

"Well, what did Cally do?" My eyes glanced to Lucas, and I saw his eyes widen the slightest bit.

"Fucking someone against my wall. I told her multiple times that I don't care who, when, or what she fucks, but she had to do it in her neighbor's bed so I wouldn't have to hear it. Obviously, she didn't listen, more than once. And when her punishment was due, she disrespected me. And we all know how I feel about disrespect." When Heather wasn't looking I grinned at a panicked looking Lucas. "She had quite the performance too. Shame he was who he was."

"Well, who was he?" She asked, curious as ever for my information. But I only smirked at her and leaned forward.

"My dirty little secret." Heather rolled her eyes but gave up nonetheless. She knew pushing me when I didn't want to play was a bad idea.

"You like All-American rejects?" Kyle asked, with confusion masking his features. "Didn't peg you for the kind."

"They're classics." I shrugged and turned to leave, Heather deciding to come with me as we left the boys who were quickly accompanied by other girls.

"Jade." She said, trying to catch my attention.

"You know, I think I get why you're so happy all the time," I told her as we turned a corner neared my car. "I would be too if I had a fuck that good every day."

"It's not what you think." I twisted to face her, the face of utter calm.

"Not what I think? I think you're fucking your half-brother." I said innocently as if it wasn't that big a deal.

"Shh!" She pulled me to the side, looking both ways in a panic. "Not so loud!" She hissed. I narrowed my eyes at her tone and she quickly changed course. "Shit, I'm sorry Jade. It's just you know what will happen if this gets out."

"And you think I'm the one who's going to let it out." I let my face drop into one of pain. "I thought you trusted me." She seemed lost by the change in emotion but continued nonetheless.

"I-I do trust you, Jade. I just want to make sure you know not to tell anyone." Her eyes started to tear up. "I know it's not normal, but we only met a few years ago. I love him, Jade." As much as I wanted to shout to the world my new information, I knew I had to play this carefully.

If I did it right, I could let them think I was okay with it, get proof of their acts and have them stuck in the palm of my hand. So I played the sympathetic and took her hand in mine. "I totally get it, Heather. The heart wants right? I'm sorry I was so mean before. I just thought you'd trust me enough to tell me. I'll support it and not say a word." I zipped my lips shut and threw away the key. "I promise."

She knew this wasn't who I really was, but she didn't have any choice but to believe me and accept my promise and believe I'll stand by it. Unfortunately for her, I knew promises were meant to be broken at one time or another.
