William's POV- April 2016
I unlocked the door and let Mariana walk into the apartment.
"Hey"
I closed the door and looked at Kappy who was sitting on the kitchen counter. The droopy eye confirmed something, he was drunk.
"I was going to drive home, but I'm drunk"
Mariana smiled.
"Why are you up there?"
He smiled.
"I sat up here and when I tried to go down I got dizzy"
She laughed and made her way over to him.
"Here, let me help you down"
She offered him her hand and I watched as she helped him off the counter.
"Let's get you seated on the couch"
"Need help?" I asked.
"I got him"
Kappy sat on the couch and looked at her.
"Sorry for still being here"
She laughed.
"No need to be sorry"
He really was drunk because Mariana basically carried him to the couch.
"You good?"
He nodded and closed his eyes.
"There's two of you"
She smiled and squatted down to take his shoes off.
"Sorry for crashing your date"
"You're not crashing our date" I assured him.
He really wasn't because he would not remember this conversation.
"Let's watch something"
Mariana looked at me.
"I really want to watch Narcos and no one wants to watch it with me"
"You never mentioned this to me" I told her.
"Well my brother watched it already and he laughed when I asked him if we could watch it"
"Well we can watch it, let's change first" I said.
"Can I have some water?"
Mariana got the water bottle that was on the kitchen counter and handed it to Kappy.
"Is Viktor in his room?"
He shook his head.
"He left me here when he got a call from a girl"
She frowned.
"That's mean" I admitted.
"You can watch TV with us, don't you worry"
He smiled.
"Did you and Willy talk?"
Mariana glanced at me and smiled at him.
"We'll talk in a bit"
He nodded.
"TV can wait, go talk"
Mariana nodded.
"Alright, try not to fall asleep on us"
He hummed.
"Just watch TV without me"
She laughed and stood up.
"Let's change" I suggested.
She nodded and I followed her to my room.
"Let's talk first"
I closed the door to the room and looked at Mariana who was sitting on my bed. She tugged off her coat and looked at me.
"Should I start?"
I nodded.
"Alright, so I did promise we would talk about this in May but"
She stopped talking and pushed her hair back.
"This past week made me realize something"
The past week had made me realize something, and I was hoping what she was about the same would be what I hoped.
"It made me realize that I have feelings for you, strong feelings"
I smiled at her and she pointed at me.
"If your smile continues to grow I will stop talking"
I covered my mouth when I realized she wasn't going to speak.
"Let's label this relationship"
I took two steps forwards and pinned her down against my bed. I connected my mouth with hers and closed my eyes when she kissed back. I pulled away a bit and smiled down at her.
"I love you" I blurted out.
Her eyes widened a bit, but she smiled and pushed my hair back before pulled me into a kiss.
"You don't have to say it" I told her.
I took a deep breath and laughed.
"Do we really have to go to the living room?" I asked.
"We promised we'd watch TV together"
"He's probably asleep" I stated.
I moved so she could sit up.
"So?"
"You're my girlfriend" I said.
I helped her fix her hair.
"My dad is going to be thrilled" I told her.
She laughed.
"Yeah?"
I nodded and frowned as she got off the bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Changing, and you should do the same"
I sat up and stood up.
"Let me help you with that" I said as I saw her struggling with her dress.
I pulled down the zipper and frowned when she moved away from me.
"We're going to watch Narcos"
I pouted at her.
"No pouting, change so we can go watch Narcos"
She reached for one of my T-shirts and put it on. I watched her dress fall on the floor and she picked it up.
"Come on now, chop chop"
She lightly shoved me before making her way towards her duffle bag. I stood up and tugged on my tie. I unbuttoned my shirt and put it with my dirty laundry. I reached for a hoodie and slipped it on. I grabbed a pair of basketball shorts and made my way to the bed where Mariana was waiting.
"I see you're giving my hoodie good use"
I smiled at her.
"It's my hoodie now" I told her.
She was talking about the UCLA hoodie she had let me borrow.
"You look good, so I'll allow it"
I slipped off my dress pants and reached for the basketball shorts.
"Alright let's not keep Kasperi waiting"
I followed her out of the room and I chuckled when we walked into the living room to see Kappy was asleep.
"Come on now"
She sat next to Kappy and lightly nudged him.
"Did you two talk?"
"We did" I said sitting next to her.
"Yay"
She laughed as he closed his eyes.
"You don't want to watch TV?"
"He'll probably throw up" I told her.
She nodded and stood up.
"Let me get you a blanket, load the show"
Once she was gone he lazily opened his eyes.
"She's your girlfriend?"
"She's my girlfriend" I confirmed.
He smiled.
"Good"
I chuckled as his mouth slacked and he snored. I loaded Netflix on the TV and glanced up as Mariana walked in. She covered him up and sat next to me.
"Hey Will?"
"Ana" I said looking at her.
"Since you're going to be playing with the Marlies does that mean you're going to grow a beard?"
I nodded and she scrunched up her nose.
"I'll let you shave it" I told her.
"Deal"
We shook hands and I looked at the screen as Narcos loaded on the TV.
