William's POV- January 2016

"She's not answering" I told my dad as I tried calling the number he was given.

He looked at me and smiled.

"She's probably in class"

I nodded slowly and leaned back against the headrest of my bed.

"I told her to expect a call from you since I figured you'd want to thank her"

"And apologize" I admitted.

He raised an eyebrow.

"I puked on her boots" I stated.

He laughed.

"You weren't feeling well"

"It's still embarrassing dad" I said.

I looked down at my phone as it started ringing.

"Are you going to answer it, or will I have to do it for you?"

I shook my head and reached for my phone. I answered the call and chose not to put it on speaker. My head still hurt a bit, but I did not want my dad hearing in on the conversation.

"Hello" I said as I put my phone close to my ear.

"Hi"

There was a light pause and dad cleared his throat.

"Hello?"

"It's William, the guy who you took to the hospital" I informed.

"Your dad did say to expect a call from you, but I missed it so I'm returning the call"

"I actually just got out of the hospital today, which is why I took so long in calling back" I told her.

"No worries, how are you?"

"I'm doing well, I still have a bit of a head ache" I admitted.

"That's normal since you do have a concussion"

I nodded.

"I was hoping I could meet you?" I stated.

I raised an eyebrow when she didn't respond and looked at my phone to see if the call had dropped.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'd like to thank you in person for making sure I didn't die last Friday" I said.

"That's real nice of you"

"When are you free?" I asked.

"I actually just got out of my last class of the day"

I looked at my dad who was signaling at me to put the call on speaker.

"Can you come over? I'm not exactly allowed to leave my bed" I stated looking at my dad.

He grinned and gave me two thumbs up.

"Uh yeah, let me just finish eating and I will be on my way"

"Great, I'll send you my address" I said.

"Ok, see you then"

"See you then" I repeated.

I ended the call and looked at my dad.

"Son, she's a stunning girl so try not to stare"

I nodded slowly and looked down at my phone. I sent her my address and watched as bubbles appeared on the screen. They disapeared and my phone vibrated in my hands as I got a text from her.

Be there in about an hour

"You should comb that hair of yours"

I looked at my dad who smiled.

"I'm going to go to the grocery store, ok? I was thinking you'd like some soup"

"You can't cook" I stated.

"I know, but I'm sure the pretty blonde on her way over does"

"Don't leave me alone with her" I told him.

He smiled.

"You'll be fine, just smile and show that Nylander charm"

"Dad" I warned.

He grinned and made his way out of the room.

"I can't get out of bed, how am I supposed to answer the door?" I called out.

He just laughed as I leaned back against the bed rest.

"Figure it out son!"

My dad was the worst.

A/N: Looks like they're going to meet...officially.
