Well, today was the day!! I finally had to shave my head. But it was a great day! A special moment, a wonderful memory shared between Mother and Daughter. Last night as I was crying about my hair shedding and the thought of shaving it off, my daughter said to me, "Mom, do you want me to do it?" I asked her, "Are you sure?" She said, "Of course!" This instantly brought tears to my eyes. That my wonderful child would do this for me.
I woke up this morning EXCITED to shave my head. Excited at the thought that this would forever be a moment in time for just US! I thought there would be tears but there were none. We both donned our masks, she has a cold right now, and got set up. What a BLAST!! We were laughing so much it's a good thing she couldn't make a mistake in the hairstyle, since it all needed to come off...hehe. She even gave me a little mohowk in the front and we took a picture. I am soooo happy we did this together. I love you Chantilly Lace!!
Today was an awesome day!!!
