ISABELLA

I groan as I roll over in the silky sheets. Silky sheets... I'm back at the beach house, aren't I? I peek my eyes open but quickly pull the sheets over my head because of the bright sunlight. I swear this ends up happening every time I drink.

"Miles?" I mumble under the sheets, not sure if he's in the room or not.

"Mhm?" he says back from above the sheets with amusement, oh no.

"Please just spill it, tell me what I did last night," I demand. Suddenly, sunlight comes streaming into my eyes when he pulls the sheets off of me. I blink, waiting for the light to adjust, and when it does, I see a gorgeous boy leaning over me with bed head and a cheeky grin.

"Morning, beautiful," he says as if we hadn't been talking before. I try not to smile, but I just can't help it.

"Morning," I say back as he plants a soft kiss on the tip of my nose.

I'm about to speak again, but I stop myself. "Ahh!" I scream, covering my mouth and jump off the bed.

"What?" he questions confusedly as I frantically run into the bathroom.

"Morning breath!" I shout from the sink where I'm digging my toothbrush out. I hastily squeeze the toothpaste onto the wet bristles and shove it into my mouth. As I vigorously scrub, Miles appears in the mirror. He is leaning against the doorway with his arms folded.

That infamous smile plays on his lips as he watches me have a meltdown. "I don't care about your morning breath."

"But I do!" I shout but it comes out muffled from the toothpaste in my mouth.

Slowly, he walks up behind me, sliding his arms around my waist, and rests his head on my shoulder. "If we're going to be living together, we can't worry about these things," he states, staring at us in the mirror.

"You want to live with me?" I inquire.

He shrugs his shoulders. "Eventually." He smiles like he's achieved something and brings his mouth up behind my ear. "You want to know what happened last night?" His teeth lightly graze my earlobe, sending chills down my spine and I stifle back a moan. I can't think straight when he's this close to me.

"Yes," I mutter.

"Last night, you got tipsy, and we danced."

"Is that it?"

"No," he says.

I close my eyes and lean against him, not able to stand up myself. "Then what else happened?"

"Well," he begins. "We danced for a while, then, you let me do this." I feel his hands slide down my stomach, ever so slightly over my area, and around to my behind.

"What else?" I question, trying not to groan from his hand movements over my ass.

"Then..." He turns me around swiftly and pushes me against the granite counter. I gasp while he leans in until our faces are inches apart. "You saw a tray of food and ran away."

My face falls faster than a rollercoaster going downhill. "Oh," I say in shock. I swear he toys with my emotions on purpose! Which is not okay to do to a girl who's PMS'ing.

A chuckle escapes his lips. "We're going to the beach in half an hour; get ready, gorgeous." He turns around and begins walking away. Oh no, I'm not letting him get away with playing me like that. I look around the bathroom until I come up with the most perfect idea.

As best as I can, I hurl a glass of water towards him which spills all over his head. He jerks forward by the sudden wetness and looks around for the culprit. I take a couple of steps back into the bathroom, but when he turns around and sees me holding the cup, his jaw clenches. Shit, shit, shit!

He shakes his head and arms out, trying to get rid of the excess water. "You better start running, Bell!" he shouts, slowly walking towards me like a lion hunting its prey. I wait there as long as I can, but when his foot crosses the doorway, I leap past him, squealing like a dying mouse.

I tear the bedroom door open and bolt down the hallway.

I instantly head for Addy's room, turning the handle as fast as possible, but it doesn't budge. I hear her shout something incoherent from the inside, but I am too busy running further down the hall, so Miles doesn't catch me.

I quickly hide in a linen closet and Miles' footsteps speed past. After catching my breath, I push the door open, but big arms engulf me instantly. I scream as Miles presses wet kisses all over my neck.

"Ew, yuck!" I scream as he picks me up and puts me over his shoulder. I watch the floor as he walks back toward our bedroom. My back meets the soft material of the mattress as he tosses me on the bed.

I can't stop the laughter from pouring out of me. The bed sinks and I open my eyes to find him hovering over me, beaming. My laughter subsides, and I reach to trace his collarbone. I'm still not used to having him all to myself.

"You know you're extremely handsome, right?" I say, and he scrunches his nose along with a smile. He doesn't boast over my compliment like he used to; instead, he leans forward and connects our lips.

His teeth clasp my bottom lip in surprise. I squeal but mimic his movement, biting his lip back. He presses half bodyweight into me and pressure blooms between my legs from his proximity. We continue kissing, and it grows more frantic.

He rolls off of me, redirecting his weight on the bed. But half his body still presses firmly against mine. I try to turn on my side to get better access to his mouth, but he holds me in place. His lips kiss my neck and I let my head fall back into the pillow with pleasure.

"You tell me when to stop," he says while his hand trails over my t-shirt, down my stomach to the waistband of my pajama pants. His fingers trace along the hem, teasing me. And then, in one swift motion, he slips his hand inside.

I look toward him. His free hand props his head up while he looks down at me. A moan escapes from my mouth, but he's quick to stifle it with his lips. I know it's going to be a long morning.

"Thank gosh you didn't get the door open earlier," Addy says, looking through a rack of dresses. We visited some boutiques while the boys are visiting a car show after spending the morning at the beach. "Jasper and I were not decent."

"Meaning?"

"We were naked."

"Oh, yeah, good thing I didn't walk in. Sorry about that." I laugh. Addy grabs some items to try on while I dig my phone out of my pocket to read the message Miles just sent.

"I have something to say. - Miles"

"Okay, say it."

"I think you need a little more Vitamin ME in your life. - Miles"

"You need to stop reading those medical pickup lines and go look at your cars."

I chuckle at my phone.

"Stop sexting Cunningham and come on! We're going to be late for our reservation." Addy grabs my arm and drags me to the register.

"I was not!" I protest, but as she sets her items up on the counter, she winks at me. "Anyway you were taking forever in there."

We make it just in time for our reservation and sit down at a little table in the back of the room. Once we're situated, we order our drinks.

"So what sushi rolls are we ordering? The usual, or should we try something new?" I question, flipping through the menu.

"I think we should try some new ones," Addy declares, so we look. After a good five minutes of arguing about what to get, we end up ordering enough food for a football team.

"We can take the leftovers home." She nods excitedly.

As I'm about to speak, my phone rings. I reach down and lift it out of my purse. I glance at the caller ID and my heart sinks.

"Is it lover boy?" Addy questions, grinning naughtily.

"It's Lucas," I say impassively.

Her grin disappears in a matter of seconds when she hears his name. "Do you think you should answer?" she inquires, fidgeting in her seat. Oh gosh, even Addy doesn't know what to do! That's not a good sign.

But something deep down is telling me to answer, even after what we did to him.

So I do.

"Hello."

"Isabella," he sighs in relief. "I'm not sure why you've been avoiding me, but I needed to tell you something." His voice is laced with panic, which worries me.

"What's wrong?" I ask. My tone of voice and question causes Addy to furrow her eyebrows and squint her eyes in confusion. I shrug my shoulders, knowing she's trying to ask me what's going on with her eyes.

"There is a video of you posted on Twitter," he says. "I don't know if you've seen it yet but-"

I cut him off apprehensively. "Who posted it on Twitter? What is it of?"

"Noel Marek," he breathes. I mouth 'Noel Marek' to Addy and instantaneously she pulls her phone out to search his name up. "It's the video from the library..."

Just as the words leave his mouth, Addy's eyes widen as she stares at the screen. Sheer dismay floods over me and I seize the phone from her hands, needing to see.

Isabella Gallagher VS The Game

I click play, holding my breath.

"Hey, Noel." I smile as the handsome boy with short brown hair approaches me.

A troublesome grin fills his face. "Oh, hey Isabella," he says. I notice a group of boys following him to where I'm sitting.

"What's up?" I question confusedly.

He clears his throat. "Well, I need to talk to you."

I raise an eyebrow. "What about?" I peer at the small crowd of boys forming behind him who are currently pulling their phones out. All of a sudden, Noel is up in my face and I hear the ding of phones go off, signaling me they're recording.

"Can you please delete my number from your phone?" he asks, and my skin goes cold. "I don't want you to think that I like you, I mean, look at you."

"Excuse me?" I try sounding assertive, but I sound weak.

He rolls his eyes and breathes in. "I was just being nice, but you're getting a little too attached for me. I showed them your texts, and they agree." He motions to the guys behind him, who cackle, and some even pull out their phones to record.

"I mean, it was his idea, not mine." Noel points into the crowd of guys toward Miles.

I hand her phone back, swallowing a horrid lump in my throat. Addy suggests heading back to the house, but I shake my head. I will not let Noel ruin my vacation. I am going to spend the day with my best friend.

"Thanks for letting me know, Lucas, I have to go." I barely wait for him to say goodbye before hanging up. I shove my phone in my pocket.

"You alright?" Addy asks.

"Just disappointed that we're in college and we have to deal with ten-year-olds like Noel," I sigh.

Thankfully, I've moved on from that incident, so there is no use in dwelling on it again. I do not need to reopen old wounds when they've already healed. It's not me I'm worried about; I'm worried about who is going to die first when Miles sees this.

I want to tell him about the situation before he finds out on his own, so I wrack up all the ways of how to let him know.
