There once was a girl who used to be surrounded by light. Nothing could touch her. She was completely pure innocent. She was essence of light.
Until one day people decided to destroy it. They hurt her they took advantage of her light of her kindness. In time she started to surround herself with darkness to the point where she went blinded with pain, rage, anger, and mistrust.
I watched as she fell apart and there was nothing left. She lived alone in her darkness no matter how hard I tried to break her out of it she couldn't see or hear me. Soon even I began to fade. The girl walked around aimlessly trying to find a way out but couldn't.
Then one day she saw a flame spark before her eyes. She couldn't help but walk to it she wanted to feel it's warmth for she has been feeling the coldness for so long. As she walked to that flame she realized that they were the color of someone's eyes.
She took a step back and the person became clearer it was a girl a gorgeous deadly girl with fire and hate in her eyes. The girl that once was light shivered at the coldness of those liquid flames. "Don't be afraid child for I am here to save you," said the girl with flames for eyes.
The girl looked at the other girl confused. "I don't need help I am fine on my own," she said. The other girl laughed and she grew bigger and taller and more beautiful her jet black wings spread out of her back.
The girl gasped as she saw the woman's true form. For she was a fallen angel. The girl walked closer to the angel. "Let me be your sword let me be your hatred and rage let me be your avenger. Let me help you get back at the people that done you wrong. That extinguished your light. I will make everything ok you just have to pay one price," said the angel.
The girl shook in fear but couldn't help but want what the angel was offering. "What is the price for what you are offering me?" Whispered the girl. The angel smiled before she spoke. "Why it's the price of your body of course. It will belong to me," the angel said.
The girl hesitated before she spoke up. "Then I'll gladly give you it," the girl said.
I watched in horror as the girl I once knew inside of me became the one thing I feared and yet wanted and needed. She became my savior and my destruction. That girl is now me for I am broken and yet still fight to hold onto the light.
