Draco was lounging in his room when he heard screaming again. He covered his ears as he felt his heart ache. A knock on the door made him get up reluctantly.
Narcissa stood on the other side with tears in her eyes, "Can I come in?"
He nodded and silently sat on his bed again. He took in a few deep breaths before smiling weakly at his mother.
She sat down next to him and patted his cheek, "Why is your cousin so foolish."
Draco remained silent, he didn't believe Juliet was foolish, he thought she was incredibly brave.
"I knew she shouldn't have left. Oh, she's like a daughter to me and there's nothing I can do to help her"
Draco frowned, "Have you thought about helping her escape?"
"Don't be absurd. He'll kill us all."
Draco fiddled with a wooden owl that was on his night stand, "She gave this to me for my birthday a few years ago."
"That's nice."
He stood up suddenly and straightened his back, "She's not just my cousin, she's one of my best friends. I can't sit here and listen to her in pain. She would never just sit around waiting for a solution Mother, she would be the solution."
Narcissa shushed him, "You'll be going back to school tomorrow. Just be glad you got to come home for Christmas, instead of at school."
He felt his hands ball in fists, "I believe that Juli will make a great change in the world. She can't do that locked up in our basement."
Narcissa sighed, "You know I adore her. But you're the most important thing to me and I can't let anything happen to you," she kissed him softly on the cheek before leaving the room.
Draco threw himself on the bed and thought for a moment. An idea suddenly clicked in his head and he bolted from the room, the wooden owl firmly in his hand as he strength.
He snuck down the hall and passed by a door that was left ajar, when he heard voices.
Bellatrix spoke in a hushed voice, "I'm positive it's still there."
"How do I know that we can trust Gringotts?" Voldemort's voice said.
"Trust me, it's safe!"
Voldemort huffed, "If anyone steals that Cup, all the blame will be on you."
Draco leaned away from the door, not hearing the rest of their words, and grinned. He tip toed away and started running once he was out of ear shot.
Soon, he reached the basement that was guarded by a Death Eater. He moved out of the shadows and approached him:
"Your shift is over, you can go upstairs," he said, his voice feigning power.
The Death Eater turned to him, "I just started my shift."
"The Dark Lord needs you. He said it was urgent."
He nodded, "Thank you Mr. Malfoy."
Draco chuckled and made his way further down.
Juliet was curled up on the floor, clutching her wrist when she heard the door creak. Draco's pale face came from behind.
She ran into his arms, "What are you doing here?"
"Saving you, obviously."
She hugged him tighter, "You're such an idiot."
He passed Juliet her bag and wand and started to push her upstairs, "You have to leave now. It won't take long for them to find out."
"What will happen to you?" she asked worriedly.
They ran quickly through the Manor and reached the large front doors.
"Let me handle that," he assured her, "just go."
"Thanks Draco, I owe you one."
He shrugged, "No, I owe you. Oh! Go to Gringotts."
Juliet panted as they ran down the main steps outside, "Why? I was just there."
"Voldemort is hiding something there. He was asking Bellatrix if it was safe there. I think he mentioned something about a Cup."
She gave him a peck on the cheek before running out the gates, "Thanks Draco!" she called out before Disapparating.

Harry sniffled as a tear fell from his cheek. He angrily wiped it away and continued to read his book, though the words were blurred. Remus and Sirius sat on either side of him and they each wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
"Why so glum?" Sirius said teasingly.
Remus rolled his eyes, "Don't listen to him. What's the matter Harry?"
"Nothing," he mumbled.
"I don't see why you don't go to school then. If I were your parents..."
"Moony, the last thing Harry wants to do is learn about spells and potions. He's grieving," Sirius said, putting a hand over his heart.
Harry's lip twitched slightly, "I'm not grieving."
"Then go to school! You have to finish your education," Remus tried to insist.
"Uncle Moony, I don't want to," Harry complained.
Sirius smirked, "He's waiting for his lady friend to come get him," he winked.
Harry snorted, "I don't want to see her again."
Remus burst out laughing, "Right and I'm not a werewolf."
A knock on the door interrupted their banter.
Lily opened the door and squealed, "Harry! It's for you."
Harry flew off the couch, which made Remus and Sirius roll on the floor laughing.
Harry ran to the main door and saw Juliet standing there, looking worn out.
"Harry. I'm so..."
Harry strode to her and pulled her into a tight hug which she returned. Lily went to the living room, pushing Remus and Sirius with her.
Harry leaned back and held Juliet's face in his hands, "I'm so glad you're safe. I shouldn't have left you, I wanted to come back right away."
Tears pricked Juliet's eyes as she stared into his own bright ones, "I've missed you."
Harry smiled sheepishly before carefully kissing Juliet on the lips. She returned it with enthusiasm and wrapped her arms around his neck.
A slow clap began behind them, causing them to jump apart. Both of their faces burned red.
Sirius clapped Harry on the shoulder, "It's about time"
